"Teacher! We're coming to help!" exclaim Asrul loudly.
Gus Mukhlas' eyes widened when he saw several ships approaching him. The first ship in the group was Roro Andalas.
Asrul took out another spear then threw it with all his might at the Demon Crocodile, this time the spear was stuck deeper.
The ship's grandfather and crew members gulped while stunned at Asrul. They could not believe that his small body was capable of unleashing such a great power. The spear thrown by the young man was capable of darting faster than an arrow released from a bow.
"We must not lose to this young Swordsman!" The ship owner's grandfather became excited and took his bow.
"Boss, we're still too far away from that demon. The arrow we released won't come." replied one of the crew.
The wind was blowing fiercely, using the low quality bows they had, they should at least be less than a hundred meters away from the demon if they wanted to shoot it.
The grandfather coughed softly, he had forgotten that their distance was still quite far because Asrul was able to throw a spear at the target.
Gus Mukhlas was just as shocked as he knew Asrul had not had the strength in the slightest. Actually Gus Mukhlas had already measured Asrul's physical ability from the way Asrul was able to compensate for Gus Mukhlas's speed of motion during the trip relying only on the Wind Steps.
Step Wind is the science of lightening the most basic body that does not require inner labor to do it. Step Wind is arguably a moving technique that makes the body feel lighter.
Gus Mukhlas thought Asrul did not realize that for Gus Mukhlas to be able to compensate for his student's speed of motion he had to use his inner strength.
If both of them were to rely on physical ability alone, Gus Mukhlas could doubtlessly keep up with Asrul's speed.
Now that Gus Mukhlas was witnessing for himself, Asrul was able to throw a spear from such a distance and hit his target. Even first-class fighters find it difficult to replicate what Asrul did.
"I can't miss this opportunity..." Despite all that, Gus Mukhlas realizes this is his chance to counterattack due to the attention of the Demon Crocodile now split.
The demon that was attacked from both sides realized his position was not benefited, he chose to dive into the river. Even though the demon had received a serious wound, the river water around the creature swimming had become blood red.
Gus Mukhlas uses the science of lightening his body to move towards the ship Roro Andalas. Without difficulty Gus Mukhlas boarded the ship.
"Asrul, your actions endanger many people..." Gus Mukhlas shook his head slowly, he was grateful that Asrul had come to his aid but still did not agree with his attitude.
"Teachers can punish students after we kill these demons." Asrul smiled widely.
"You saved Master, what needs to be punished?" Gus Mukhlas laughed.
All the ships then formed a formation to protect themselves from each other, this situation was quite dangerous as they could come under attack from the riverbed.
"Look out the water under the ship, the stealth was seriously injured, the place he would appear must have been flushed." Gus Mukhlas reminds Grandfather of the ship's owner. The message was immediately relayed to the other ships.
The river water under one of the ships suddenly turned red, those on board panicked and jumped off the boat, while the crew of the other ships immediately pointed their bows at the ship.
Sure enough, a few moments later the crocodile turned the ship upside down while jumping into the air.
"Foot!"
The crocodile demon had not expected that the moment he appeared would be greeted by hundreds of arrows landing all over his body.
Asrul quickly threw out a few spears with all his might. The spears stuck deeper than before due to the close distance they were throwing.
When the demon almost went back into the water, Gus Mukhlas jumped from one ship to another and approached the creature. Just before the demon touched the water, Gus Mukhlas gave a sword slash filled with deep energy.
"Blue Lightning Sword! Lightning Slash!" That one slash managed to create such a wide sword wound that spurted out a lot of blood.
When the white crocodile demon hit the river, waves arose that made the surrounding ships lose balance. Some mid-sized ships capsized because of the waves.
Gus Mukhlas returned to the Roro Andalas ship after slashing the stealth, he spent a lot of energy in the last attack.
Not long after diving into the river, the crocodile demon was again visible on the surface but this time his body was floating above the river without moving a bit. The attack given by Gus Mukhlas had previously succeeded in killing the creature's life.
"Long live Imam Gus Mukhlas! Long live Imam Gus Mukhlas!" All cheered in delight, praising Gus Mukhlas for successfully killing the hundred-year-old Demon that terrorized this river for the past week.
Indeed a ship was destroyed and several ships capsized but no casualties when facing this demon is a miracle.
"Fighter sir, tonight we're going to eat this crocodile meat. I heard that stealth meat is very good for health." The ship's grandfather said with a laugh.
"Thank you, but my students and I are in a hurry. If you don't mind, can you cross us now?" Gus Mukhlas thought this would not only be a simple dinner, the merchants who saw his ability would try to approach him and ask for his help, Gus Mukhlas did not want that.
"Ah... Too bad, but can you wait a minute? It will take time to find the Demon Gems. As the one who managed to finish him off, Mr. fighter deserves it." The grandfather was a little disappointed that Gus Mukhlas refused to stay any longer.
Gus Mukhlas shook his head slowly, "I heard that there were many ships that had sunk because of this creature, right? There were even casualties. Uncle could sell these Demon Gems to a merchant and then use the money for those who lost the ship and his family, including the one whose ship was destroyed this time."
Asrul coughed softly, in fact he hoped that Gus Mukhlas could use the Demon Gem for himself. If not used to increase energy in at least can be made into heirlooms or sold at high prices.
The grandfather certainly rejected the idea, he was amazed by the kindness of Gus Mukhlas but he thought this was excessive.
"I've made up my mind, no one can change that decision. So can uncle take us across before returning to port?" ask Gus Mukhlas.
