Olrand's Request To Cristin's Father

That night, Orland stopped by Cristin's house because there was something she wanted to talk to Cristin's parents. There was something he wanted to do and of course he needed the consent of both Cristin's parents.

He didn't say that with Cristin because it was a secret. Don't let Cristin know that makes him uncomfortable.

Cristin's father hasn't returned, as usual he's busy with his hotel business. Surely he had been eager to hand it over to Cristin but since Cristin was busy with his divorce he had to delay.

While waiting for his father to return, Cristin accompanied Orland in the living room. Cristin was lying on Orland's thigh, while Orland was playing with his hair.

"Orland," Cristin looked up and looked at him.

"Hm?" Orland was still playing his hair and even rubbed his face slowly.

"My dad's birthday soon, you're coming, right?" ask Cristin.

"Will there be a party?"

"Of course, the party will be held at one of our hotels. My brother's coming home too, you're coming, aren't you?"

Orland thought for a moment, party? It seems like he can use this opportunity. He'll make his point to Cristin's father later.

"Hey, why not answer? Can't you come or you won't come!" Cristin was already looking at him with a fierce gaze.

"Of course I'll come, honey. There was no reason for me not to attend," Orland lowered his head and landed his kiss on Cristin's forehead.

"So, what are you going to discuss with my father?" honestly, he was very curious about this

"I just want to discuss business with him, honey."

"Business?" Cristin looked unsure.

"Yeah, I also want to explore the hospitality business. Your father can guide me if he's willing."

"My father will definitely be willing and won't mind."

Orland smiled and kissed her forehead again, that was not the point. He said so that Cristin did not suspect anything at all.

They talked again until Cristin's father came home from the office. Cristin immediately sat up straight and pretended to watch television as her father stepped past the two of them.

"What's beyond Orland?" grifin asked his wife.

"Yes, he was waiting for you earlier."

"What's wrong? Did something happen to Cristin?"

"Come on, go see him, maybe there's something important he's going to talk to you about" Mariana said.

Grifin nodded, she immediately came out to meet Orland after sipping a glass of warm water.

"I heard you were waiting for me?" grifin asked as she approached Orland and her daughter.

"Dad, you're back at last" Cristin walked up to her father and hugged him.

"Why does Daddy's daughter look so happy?" Grifin hugged her daughter tightly. Cristin was still his little princess.

"Something Orland wants to talk to Daddy about is why he's waiting for Daddy."

"What's wrong? Did he really want to propose to you?" seductive father.

"Dad, it's too fast!" christin's face blushed.

"Well, I'll make Daddy's favorite meal" Cristin kissed his father's cheek and then he walked away from Orland and his father.

After the departure of his daughter, Grifin approached Orland and sat not far from him. He knew there was something serious the young man was about to talk about. Otherwise, there was no way he would have waited for her for so long.

"Tell me, what are you trying to say?" ask Grifin.

"I just want your permission, Mr. Bailey," Orland said.

"Yin? Permission for what?" tanya Grifin did not understand.

"I was planning to pay a bodyguard for Cristin but this was like a shadow bodyguard who would follow wherever Cristin went without Cristin's knowledge."

"Shadow guard, what for?" ask Cristin's father not to understand.

"I was worried that her husband was doing something undesirable because he did not accept their divorce. It is better to take anticipation first rather than something that we do not want to happen. If Mr. Bailey doesn't allow it then I won't" Orland said. However, he could not act as he pleased even if it was for the good of Cristin because it could be that what he did could make both Cristin's parents offended.

"Of course I don't mind, Orland. You think about this for my daughter of course I don't mind. I'm so grateful you've thought of her so far" Grifin said. There was nothing better than using a shadow bodyguard to guard his daughter because they did not know what was going to happen.

"Thank you but please keep this matter a secret from Cristin because she won't be comfortable if she knows someone is following her."

"Surely, of course," Grifin strongly approved. It turned out that the young man was very concerned about Cristin's safety. His daughter was not mistakenly close to the young man, Orland and Johan were completely very different.

"Thank you but there's one more thing I want to ask you, Mr. Bailey. But that's if you're willing and if you don't, I won't force."

"Say, there's no need to be shaken."

"At your birthday party, can you invite someone and include my company name?" ask Orland.

Grifin frowned again, who would Olrand invite? But he'll grant it let alone that's Orland's request.

"Of course, tell me who you want to invite? Just inviting someone isn't even for me."

"I'm really grateful" Orland said. He was greatly helped because Cristin's father was willing to grant his request.

"I said no need to hesitate, now tell me who you want to invite. I'll order someone to give it to that person."

"I want Mr. Bailey to invite Louis Dmytry and his family. Please include my company name on the invitation card but not my name. I also asked Mr. Bailey to think of me as Cristin's personal driver later so that no one would know if I was the owner of the Weyland Corporation" Orland said.

Grifin stared fixedly at Orland, she had no idea of the trouble between Orland and her uncle's family. However, he will grant Orland's request because the young man cares deeply about his daughter.

"Is that all you want?" ask Grifin.

"Yes, I want to invite them to set them up" Orland said.

"What happened between you and Louis Dmytry? I used to hear that the Dmytry company suddenly changed hands, "there's no harm in asking this. If Orland was going to be his son-in-law then he should know.

"Yeah, it's a shameful story" Orland said.

"Everybody must have an embarrassing story so slow down, I have plenty of time to listen."

Orland smiled, there was no reason to keep it a secret from Cristin's parents. He won't cover anything. After all they must know, how he was before this.

The two of them chatted, Orland told all the failures and follies he had done to Cristin's father and of course after hearing that, Grifin supported him to avenge Louis Dmytry's actions. He even supports Orland inviting Louis, his birthday party later is most suitable to trap someone and of course Gail who will play the role of himself later.

They chatted so seriously that they forgot the time, Cristin approached the two of them and invited Orland and his father to dinner. Orland was used to it, both of Cristin's parents actually accepted him because they knew the young man could look after Cristin let alone they could see if Orland Dmytry was really serious and sincere to their daughter.
