One Million Dollar Male Charm

One Million Dollar Male Charm
A Toast To Our Stupidity

Cristin sat on the ground while pulling the grass occasionally and tossed it. His eyes glanced at Orland who was currently checking the tent he had set up, not to be uprooted so that it messed up his cooperation with Cristin.

He was sure one hundred percent Cristin would sleep with him tonight, the woman could not possibly dare to sleep outside alone. Orland's smile seemed to bloom as he looked towards Cristin who was glaring at him. I don't know why Cristin could forget his tent but it was an advantage for him.

Cristin grumbled, insect medicine was again sprayed here and there. Why did he forget his tent? Let's just hope they're really in that forest for one night only, he really doesn't want to be with that guy for too long.

"Cristin, what if you're just looking for firewood?" orland.

"Burning wood?"

"Yes, we'll make a bonfire tonight but don't go far, I'll have trouble finding you if you get lost."

"Alright," Cristin moved up and patted her butt, "It's better than being alone with you!" he said it again, grunting.

Orland smiled, did Cristin not like being close to him so much? No problem, he knew it wouldn't be easy. He'd better finish the tent they'll use tonight.

Cristin picked up the wood he found while grumbling, he looked back occasionally because he was afraid of getting lost. Hopefully nothing happens tonight, he's afraid of being lulled by the man's charm. Some firewood has been obtained, Cristin returned complaining. It turned out that Camping was not as easy as he had imagined. He was really not used to it, he even felt tired when he only took firewood.

"Is this enough?" christin asked, putting down the firewood he had picked up.

"Already, rest. The rest leave it to me."

Cristin nodded, he sat quietly on a fallen tree trunk while looking at what Orland was doing. Orland was busy himself but his eyes could not be separated from Cristin who was wiping his arm because of the cold wind.

Orland smiled, he went to the tent to pick up something and after getting it, Orland put a blanket on Cristin's shoulder.

"Wear this, the air will get colder but no need to worry, I will make the bonfire warm" he said.

"Thanks, do you do this often?" Cristin wrapped his entire body in a blanket that Orland had given him.

"Yeah, I'm a nature lover so I love doing this."

"So, do you have anything to eat? I'm hungry" Cristin said.

"Of course, Miss. Looks like all you bring is insect medicine" Orland's goddamn tease.

"E-Enak only!" Cristin threw away her flushed face. That guy really sucks.

The bonfire was over, Orland went to pick up food for them to enjoy. Cristin enjoyed the heat of the campfire, although the forest was so dark and quiet but he was not so afraid. Not as bad as he thought, the two of them enjoyed their dinner in front of the campfire and sat facing each other. They also burned marshmello and a bottle of whisky accompanied their night.

"May I ask you something, Cristin?" orland asked, his eyes not separated from Cristin.

"I don't want to answer if your question is strange!"

"No, I was just wondering what happened to you that night, why did you pay me when you had a husband" Orland asked, to be honest, he was very curious about the problem and he hoped that Cristin would open up with him tonight.

"Come on, I just want to know!"

"Ck, you yourself, why did you commit suicide that night?" Cristin asked back.

"Yeah, it was a shameful night for me" Orland said, sipping his drink.

"I was too naive and stupid, Cristin. There are times when we do stupid things without us knowing and that day, I reap the rewards of the stupidity that I do" Orland said again. Drinks in the sip, Cristin looks serious.

"W-What's going on?" ask Cristin. It seemed like they were not much different because he was also so stupid that he was used by Johan so easily.

Orland looked at him with a smile, until now he had not expected to meet with Cristin and he did not expect that he would rise again thanks to the help of a woman even though on that night they were using each other but he felt, he felt, the most affected is Cristin. Not only did she have to pay him dearly but she also had to lose her virginity. So he wanted to know what really happened to Cristin that night. Why did he pay?

"If I tell you what's going on, do you also want to tell me what happened to you?"

"Hng, forget!" said Cristin cynically.

Orland chuckled, he was just kidding. He must have said what had happened to him and why he had committed suicide. It's possible that Cristin would have told her what she had experienced that night.

"Don't be angry, I'm just kidding. I'll tell you. That night I was devastated, Cristin. I lost everything I had because of my stupidity and my smell, I was so naive that I was tricked by the people closest to me who I trusted so much."

"You're being tricked?" Cristin again looked serious and of course he became curious.

"Yeah, I told you, didn't I? Sometimes we do stupid things without even knowing it. I took over my father's company after he died. The lack of knowledge in the business world made me trapped by my uncle's game and of course thanks to the intervention of others so that the plan went smoothly. I really didn't suspect much less that he was an uncle I respected a lot but who would have guessed, my uncle stabbed me in the back."

"Oh, my God!" Cristin kept his mouth shut, so Orland was tricked that night? It must be very painful especially the one who cheated was uncle himself.

"Yeah, that night I was cruelly kicked out. My father's company, house and car, all taken from me. I'm devastated, no one wants to help me not even my best friends. I couldn't help but feel my shame and guilt for my father. I have no purpose either, therefore I decided to commit suicide so that the guilt and shame I had to feel due to my stupidity was gone but I did not expect that I would meet you," Orland smiled gently, smiling, surely Cristin threw away her face in a hurry because she was afraid of being lulled by that smile.

"So you got up again with the money I gave you?" ask Critisitin. He did not dare to look at Orland directly.

"As you know, I'm determined to rise again and it's all thanks to you. Not only the money you gave me, the words you said while saving me became my motivation to get back up so that my father would be proud of me. Thank you, Cristin. If I hadn't met you that night, I wouldn't have been like this and I might still be the subject of scorn for my stupid actions!"

"No need to thank you, that night I just used you!"

"If so, will you tell me, what really happened?"

Cristin did not answer, now his eyes were fixed on Orland, again they returned to the original topic. It seemed like the man was very curious but to be honest, he did not want anyone to know what happened on his wedding night let alone an outsider.

"Cristin," Orland grew curious. Whatever happens, he should know what happened to Cristin that night.

"Yeah, everything that happens is also due to my stupidity" Cristin said reluctantly.

"Well, if so toast to our folly," Orland raised the glass with a smile on his face.  He won't force even if he is very curious, he wants Cristin to say what happened without coercion and of course while enjoying their long night together.
