What is a Proposal?

Not long after Zion's departure, Orland entered the cafe. He deliberately waited for the man to leave because he did not want Zion to meet him so as to make the man suspicious. It shouldn't be too soon before the man gets into the trap he's been set up for.

Orland's eyes looked for the beautiful figure of his lover. A smile was engraved on his lips when he saw Cristin was ordering something because the drink he had just ordered was already used to flush the bad guy. It felt a little regretful, he should have ordered super hot black coffee so that Zion Dmytry would deter people.

Not only drinks, he also ordered a piece of cake and ice cream to relieve the heat in his heart.

Orland approached Cristin with a smile, although he was not there but he could tell what Cristin was talking about with Zion. Surely he was upset that Zion was slandering him but he was glad that Cristin did not believe what Zion said.

Cristin was surprised when he saw Orland step closer to him. He just remembered the cell phone. All because of the bad guy named Zion Dmytry.

"Why did you come here?" christin asked as Orland sat beside him.

"How come I didn't come, honey. I don't like that anybody bothers you."

"Only a pest, no need to think!" Cristin. He was sure Orland already knew everything he was talking about with Zion.

"You're right and I don't like that pest bothering you much less that he wants to incite you."

"Here you go, so she's your cousin?" ask Cristin.

"Yeah, you should have known. I'm sorry I couldn't go in and hit him in the face because he was bothering you. I don't want him to be suspicious so all my plans fail."

"It's okay, Orland. I've taught him a little lesson but I wonder, isn't it a matter of that private driver only your ex-lover knows? Then why would your cousin also be able to tell the lies I told back then?"

"As expected, Cristin. They both work together. But the lies you're telling are very useful because with those lies, one pat two stupid flies to death."

Cristin smiled, but he only wanted to see the reaction of Orland's ex-lover, but the arrogance actually gave them an advantage.

Orland grabbed Cristin's hand and kissed the back of her hand. He actually met a great woman like Cristin. Cristin is not weak nor is he whiny, he really likes his personality like that.

"Orland, it seems that from tomorrow I will be busy so that we can not freely meet again" Cristin said.

"Why?" ask Orland.

"From tomorrow I have to work, it's time for me to study because I have to replace my father one day. That's why I'm going to be a manager at a hotel owned by my father and I can't go as good as my heart anymore" Cristin explained.

"No problem, Cristin. We can meet after work, but can you spare some time tomorrow afternoon?"

"Tomorrow? I reckon?"

"Cristin, this is very important" Orland said. His facial expression looked serious. He hopes Cristin can take his time so they can go together to see the evidence Gail's best friend has obtained. She had wanted to surprise him but given Cristin's time was not much and she also wanted Cristin to immediately part with her husband, so he decided to take Cristin and after that they could go to the marriage experts together to provide evidence of the affair committed by Johan.

"What's wrong? Why do you look so serious?" ask Cristin astonished.

"really? Aren't you kidding me?" Cristin interrupted with a surprised expression.

"Of course not but listen to what I say until it's over otherwise I'll kiss your lips until it's over!"

"Ck, you think my lips are cotton candy!" Cristin threw her face flushed to the side.

Orland chuckled, he again kissed the back of Cristin's hand. Surely he would rather kiss Cristin's lips but right now he wants to be serious.

"Look, tomorrow at two o'clock the evidence will be given so I want to take you away to see the evidence and after seeing it we can go directly to the marriage expert to show the evidence. The sooner the better because I can't wait for you to part with her."

"Why are you so impatient?"

"Hey, you didn't forget what you said if we were going to get married after you split up with Johan, did you?"

Cristin was silent, it was just the original speech he had uttered back then but why did Orland take his words seriously?

"Cristin, you should know I'm serious about you. After you split up with Johan and after I get my father's company back, will you marry me? I will not disappoint and betray you like Johan betrayed you. You already know all about me anyway, don't you? You also know, there's nothing I'm hiding from you!" Orland said those words with a serious expression, he also looked at Cristin sharply.

"Is this a proposal, Orland?" ask Cristin.

"No, this is a question! I know you've failed in marriage and I know you're traumatized by that, so I want you to think about it from now on because the time has come, I'll propose to you and I hope you don't reject my proposal!"

Cristin smiled, of course he knew that Orland was serious but he did not want to answer too quickly as he had done. After all he still had plenty of time until where the day Orland proposed to him. He could judge the man more and get to know the man further.

"Alright, I'll think about it from now on" Cristin said.

"I'm glad to hear it" Orland smiled. He did deliberately give Cristin time to think about it because he knew, for people who had failed in marriage let alone like Cristin would definitely not be able to answer 'Yes' when proposed.

Cristin will definitely refuse because of the trauma and failure he has experienced. Therefore than he failed later did not ask Cristin to think it was the best way? He was sure that by the time the time had come, Cristin would have already made up his mind and would not have turned down a proposal from him.

Cristin smiled, she will think about their relationship seriously from now on.

"So, tomorrow you can go with me, right?" ask Orland.

"Of course, Orland. I'll come see you so we can go together."

"I'll pick you up, we'll go after lunch."

"All right" replied Cristin. He became very curious, what evidence did Gail's best friend get? What is the evidence of Johan's association with the woman he saw some years ago? It felt impatient to see the evidence and he also could not wait to throw the evidence in Johan's face so he could not dodge it later let alone two more days they did have to meet to discuss marriage they are further on but he is confident, with evidence of their divorce will happen soon.

They were still at the cafe, enjoying the drinks and cakes that Cristin ordered. When he finished, Cristin took Orland away to find a gift that he would give to his father. It felt like the day had quickly passed because she was already impatient to become a widow. Surely not he alone, Orland most impatiently waited for Cristin to become a widow.
