The day had changed, Cristin woke up to a much better state. Not only has his health improved, but his feelings are much better than before. He was even very excited to run his day and do his activities.
Cristin moved, stepping towards the window. The curtains are opened as well as the window. Cristin breathed in the refreshing morning air and after that he seemed to think what he should do today.
He had already decided to file a divorce letter but he had to consult first. It seemed like she had to finish the proposal first and after that she wanted to focus on taking care of her divorce with Johan.
All right, he made his decision. He would contact Orland later and ask him to complete the proposal. Hopefully in two days he will be done and after that he will focus on his divorce. She also has to find a trusted marriage expert who will help her divorce process with Johan.
Cristin came out of the room and stepped into the kitchen, his mother was busy making breakfast while his father was at the dinner table and was seen reading the news.
"Morning, Dad," Cristin approached her father and landed a kiss on the cheek and after that she did the same to her mother.
"You look excited, honey," said his mother.
"Yeah, I'm really excited" Cristin replied as she picked up a piece of toast that her mother had just baked.
"Good, it turns out that the medicine that comes is very potent," seduced his mother.
"What's? It's delicious!"
His mother smiled, although Cristin did not admit, but she could guess why her daughter was so excited.
"Cristin, come. There's something Daddy wants to talk about" said his father.
"What's up Dad?" Cristin approached his father and sat down with him.
"Daddy thinks it's time you filed the divorce papers with Johan. Don't delay too long, the sooner you part with her, the better."
"I know, Dad. I've been thinking about this."
"Good, if so. Daddy's gonna find an expert who can help you."
"Thank you for Daddy's help, but I think it's time I sorted out my problem alone."
"You sure?" ask her father to make sure.
"Sure, but before that there's something I need to finish. I want to finish my work first and after that I'll focus on my divorce."
"Daddy was happy to hear it, but if you need help, don't hesitate to tell Daddy" his father said.
"It seems we don't need to intervene anymore, Dad," Mariana walked over to her husband and daughter with the toast she had just baked.
"Why?" ask Cristin and his father together.
"Didn't you have a bodyguard willing to do anything for you? Mommy thinks you'd better hang on to her," her mother teased.
"Mo-Mommy don't just talk!" Cristin threw away her flushed face.
His father and mother smiled, although Cristin denied, but they could really see if Cristin was comfortable with the man they meant.
"Cristin, don't you have feelings for Orland?" the question asked by his mother almost made Cristin choke on the toast he was eating.
"Why did Mommy ask like that?" ask Cristin nervously.
"Mommy just wants to know, honey. He's so sincere to you, we can see that. Somehow you guys got to meet and I don't know what happened between you, Orland and Johan but Mommy doesn't think your meeting was a deliberate one."
"So you mean Mommy?" Cristin looked down, was it true that their meeting that night was not a deliberate meeting? He remembered that night he was so devastated and stepped aimlessly until he finally brought himself to the station. He also did not know why he went to that place when he rarely set foot in such a place. Did he also have suicidal thoughts like Orland did?
"Mommy told you, didn't she? Sometimes we have to meet the wrong person before we meet the right person and you, have been wrong to love Johan but without you wanting, you met Orland. Believe me, such things are rare and Mommy believes, your meeting is not an accidental meeting."
Cristin did not reply, he was still silent while enjoying his toast. She knows her mother wants her to open her heart and forget Johan but Honestly she is still afraid to love someone again because she does not want to be disappointed a second time.
"Cristin," his mother called out while looking at him with an astonished expression.
"Come, Mom. I don't know, I don't want to think about it. I have decided to live my day as usual. I can't just trust Orland, honestly I still doubt Orland is really serious or not but I don't hate him. I will live my day with him as usual but if it turns out he is not much different from Johan it means it is a reprimand for me and a misfortune for me. Now I don't want to think of anything like that because I want to focus on my divorce."
"Why do you want me to be with him so much?" ask Cristin suspiciously.
"Come on, ask your father" said his mother.
"Hey, why am I?" father's protest.
"No need to blame each other!" Cristin gulped his milk until it ran out.
"I want to take a shower and get ready to go" he said as he moved on.
"Where are you going?" ask mother.
"Orland's office" Cristin replied as she walked away.
His father and mother looked at each other, and before long they both smiled. Although their daughter was still doubtful about the man but it seemed like their relationship would be getting closer.
Cristin went into the room, the phone was in hand. He wanted to contact Orland before he came to the man. Cristin contacted Orland without wasting any time and before long the voice of Orland was heard.
"What's up, Miss? Do you miss me?" orland Goda.
"Absolutely, who misses you!" replied Cristin cynically.
Orland chuckled, though he desperately wanted Cristin to answer 'Yes' but it seemed impossible.
"How are you doing, Cristin? Are you okay?"
"Sure, thank you for worrying about me" Cristin said.
"So, what did you call me?"
"I want to go to your office, Orland. I want to finish the proposal so that my work is done quickly."
"You don't have to worry, Cristin. I've completed the proposal for you" Orland said.
"really?" Cristin sounds happy.
"Yeah, I've asked Gail to call your boss later."
"All right, but can we meet today?" ask Cristin. I don't know why he wanted to meet Orland today.
"Sorry, Honey. Now I'm at the airport because I have to go to Australia."
"What?" Cristin surprised. Why didn't Orland say that last night?
"Don't be angry, Cristin. It's sudden, I intend to call you after I'm on the plane. I won't be there long, I'll be back in a week and will be looking for you soon" Orland said.
"I'm not mad, you better not come back!" said Cristin cynically.
"really? Aren't you gonna miss me?"
"No, I won't miss you and don't come back!" Cristin turned off his phone after saying so and afterwards he regretted his words.
"Oh, fuck! What have I said?" Cristin dropped himself on the bed. So Orland's going to Australia for a week? Ck, for some reason suddenly he felt his day would be quiet.
Orland sent her a message after she was on the plane. Surely he was very eager to meet Cristin but he had to go to Australia suddenly.
Cristin grabbed his phone and saw the message sent by Orland.
"I'd really like to see you, Cristin. I will miss you so much. Wait for me to come back, after that we'll kick your husband together."
Smiles adorn the face, the phone is stored and after that Cristin moved from the bed. Since the proposal is done then it is time to focus on taking care of the divorce. She hopes she can get a divorce without needing to meet Johan but unfortunately, the man is trying to figure out a way to meet her.
