The soup made by Cristin was finished and was on the table. In addition to soup, Cristin also made several other types of food because he decided to have lunch with Orland.
They were already sitting at the dinner table together, Cristin was enjoying the stir-fry vegetables he made because he preferred to eat vegetables rather than meat.
"A house this big, aren't you lonely living alone?" ask Cristin stale.
"Why? Would you like to accompany me?"
"Ck, I just want to know!!"
"I don't mind if you want to stay here and plant me, Cristin," Orland teased.
"Why can't you talk seriously?" Cristin looked at him with a fierce look.
"I'll be serious at a certain time" Orland said with a smile.
"Hm!" Cristin turned his face away. Orland grabbed his hand but Cristin was indifferent and enjoyed the meal.
"For now I am living alone, Cristin. I don't feel lonely because I'm busy with my work but later, this house will be crowded with our children."
Cristin was surprised, the food he ate was almost sprayed out. The glass was grabbed and the contents were quickly gulped.
"What do you mean our children?" his eyes looked back at Orland with a fierce gaze.
"Of course we'll have children after we get married. Don't you want to have a child later?"
Cristin pulled his hand from Orland's, he also lowered his head. That was what he dreamed. After marriage he wanted to have one or two children but somehow after hearing Orland's words, it all sounded like a joke.
"Cristin?" Orland was astonished to see his state suddenly change.
"I want to go home" Cristin said as he left.
"Hey, did I say something wrong?" Orland also moved and followed Cristin's steps.
"No!" Cristin stepped into the bag and the car keys were.
"Cristin, wait!" Orland grabbed his hand until Cristin's steps came to a halt.
"I'm sorry, Cristin," Orland hugged her from behind, he didn't know why Cristin had suddenly become like that.
"I didn't mean to offend you, I just expressed my wish about the children. I'm sorry if that offended you" he said again.
"I'm not angry, Orland. I just want to go home."
"If so I'll drive you."
"No, you're still not well."
"If so, can it be tomorrow?"
"Orland!" Cristin interrupted, "I want to go home!"
"Alright," Orland twisted Cristin's body but somehow Cristin didn't want to see it.
"Be careful" Orland wanted to kiss her on the cheek but Cristin avoided it. He still did not want to look at Orland and stepped back, without saying anything Cristin again stepped towards his bag.
Orland was silent, he seemed to be in disbelief because Cristin had just rejected him. He didn't even go after Cristin and let the woman out of his house. He was still thinking, what has happened?
Cristin left with a chaotic feeling, she sat quietly in the car while rubbing her face. Why do you feel so broken when you hear the words kids? Is this a feeling of disappointment because his desire did not materialize or because of something else?
Orland stood in front of the window, looking at Cristin's departure. Surely he wanted to keep Cristin from leaving but he knew Cristin would be angry. For now let Cristin go but tomorrow he will go look for her.
On the way, Cristin could not hold back her tears anymore. Every memory he goes through along with Johan haunts him. Their promises, every wish that was said to them together, recalled.
A lot of wishes they had said after they got married but in fact? All of those desires were just false wishes spoken by Johan and when Orland spoke of children, he felt he was hearing a mere false remark and that, he said, destroying himself who had been deceived by Johan with his false words.
He shouldn't be close to Orland, nor should he let that man into his life. Wouldn't he repeat what happened?
No, it's not too late. The defense he had built had not completely collapsed. He had better come back to his feet and not let Orland further tear down what he had built.
Cristin rubbed his tears while cursing, because the betrayal committed by Johan made him not believe in sweet words anymore. Baj*ngan may live comfortably with his affair, while he must be destroyed.
Cristin stopped his car on the side of the road, he shouted to shed the anger, sadness and disappointment he had felt all along. I don't think all that is enough. She screamed again and cried roaring in the car, she wanted to be like that for a moment for her condition to improve.
He did not want to come back in a state of chaos. He also did not want to make his parents worry. He needed such time, if there was a sea, he would rather drown himself in there for the sadness and disappointment he felt being eroded by the waves of the sea.
Cristin didn't run his car either, he was on the side of the road for so long. He leaned back in the car seat, his eyes glaring far away. His mind wandered, he also did not care about his cell phone that kept ringing. He shouldn't have come back. He should never have met Orland again.
I don't know why Orland's words come back. The Kids? Cristin smiled bitterly, there will never be children in her life because she will never marry again.
After feeling better, she starts the car because she wants to go home. It was enough to cry over his miserable life and in order not to be more miserable, he should not allow anyone to enter his heart even if it was Orland.
Cristin is greeted by his mother who looks anxious after he arrives, they are worried because Orland contacted them and asked if Cristin had returned or not. They tried to contact his daughter but Cristin ignored her phone.
"Cristin, are you okay?" asked her mother while looking at her daughter carefully.
"I'm fine, Mom," Cristin looked not excited at all.
"What happened to you? Orland said you left angry and she was very worried about you at the moment" her mother said.
"I don't want to talk about it, Mom," Cristin stepped past her mother. He hoped Orland would not look for him anymore.
"Cristin, call Orland first. He's very worried about you."
"Please Mommy who called. I feel bad and want to sleep."
His mother looked astonished, were the two of them fighting? Cristin went into his room and fell on the bed. Orland was worried about him?? Is that the false attention he gave to draw his sympathy?
Out there, Mariana asks her husband to call Orland. At least they should inform the young man and say Cristin had already returned so that he would not worry.
"How about Mr Bailey, is Cristin back?" ask Orland. He even sounded impatient.
"Yes, he just came back."
"How is he doing?" ask Orland again.
"She said she wasn't feeling well and wanted to sleep. Did you guys fight, Orland?" ask Cristin's father because he wants to know what's going on with the two of them.
"No, it looks like I've been mispronouncing and offending him. I'm sorry for this."
"All right, come tomorrow. He won't accept you if you come today."
"Thank you, Mr. Bailey. I really didn't mean to make her angry."
"No need to think about it, maybe the situation is not healthy. Come tomorrow after things get better."
"Thank you" said Orland. Perhaps what Cristin's father said was true. Maybe Cristin is having PMS so that makes him a little sensitive.
If so, he must remember the schedule of PMS Cristin so that he does not mispronounce and mention it later in life. Ck, it turns out that women are difficult to understand.
