Zake's Regret

Zion was in Zake's room for quite a while, of course she had to know what business Zake was going to offer before she agreed. Although he is impatient, he still has to be careful. The projects offered are very promising and can provide multiple benefits.

With his sweet mouth, Zake convinces Zion as he did back then to trap Orland. He just repeated the same thing and foolishly, Zion did what Orland had done before. He was easily caught in his trap.

Zion is really ambitious to prove to the father the ability he has so that he ignores the warning that his father said earlier. He agreed to join the project offered by Zake without a second thought. All he thought about was the outcome.

Zake looks very happy when Zion signs the job contract letter she offers. Finally the mission he had to do was completed, he hoped Orland would let go after this.

"I'm so glad you finally want to join this business, Zion," Zake said.

"I'm also glad that you're willing to join me, I'm sure this business will bring me great benefits!" zion said with such high confidence.

"You're right, you don't have to worry because thanks to this business, this company can succeed quickly" Zake lied.

Zake sighed and looked relieved, finally done. Just wait a little while then Orland will get what he wants.

"I'm done!" zake said as he shouted a little.

The door of another room was opened, and Orland and Gail were in another room to monitor them from a camera that had been hidden. They were there to see if Zake was doing his job well or not.

Zake immediately moved on and, taking the documents that Zion had signed, stepped closer to Orland and gave them the documents.

"My job is done, I can go, right?"

"Don't hurry, Zake," Gail took the documents provided by Zake and looked at them.

"Whatchu mean? Can't I leave when my job is done?"

"Who told you that? Did you say that, Gail?"

"No, Sir. I didn't say anything" Gail replied.

"What do you really want, Orland. I've done what you told me should be enough and not make it difficult for me anymore!"

"alright, fine. But after that you'll let me go, won't you?" to be honest he doubted Orland would let go of himself as he said.

"Just do what you have to do, Zake. I think you remember how you betrayed me when I trusted you so much!"

"I was desperate, Orland!" zake said, he will try to defend himself so that Orland is a little generous.

"Don't say as if you don't have anyone so you accept Zion's offer of being pressured by circumstances, Zake!" Orland turned his steps and stood his back to the man.

"You said you didn't have a choice? The night I was kicked out, I also felt that I had no choice but to end my life but someone made me realize that I was not doing that stupid thing and gave me another option. If I assume that I have no choice but to commit suicide, I may have died that night, as well as you. You've been what I consider to be my family let alone you've been working with my father for a long time. I even think of you as my uncle but why don't you come to me when you're in trouble and ask me for help? Why do you prefer to betray? Do you think I don't want to help you or are you more tempted by the money Zion has to offer?"

Zake lowered his head, a sense of regret began to be felt. The money he got from Zion didn't last long even he had trouble getting a job afterwards . His daughter also behaved improperly and was in a relationship with many men. His son was difficult to talk to so his family became a mess. Is that all because of the money he got the wrong way?

Zake fell on the floor, he really did not expect to be in such a position where he would be threatened by people he considered stupid.
