After the dance is over, Cristin immediately runs away from Orland because he can't stand being with the annoying guy for too long. Fortunately Orland did not discuss the hot night they had passed, if until it happened, he felt his heart would not be strong. It was enough that the two of them were close enough, the man even took the opportunity to kiss her face a few times and unfortunately she was lulled by the touch Orland gave her.
Already he had guessed that man was dangerous to him, he really could not resist and lest the man tear down the defenses he had built all along. Other than Johan, there must be no other man in her heart and she will bury the baj*ngan with her dead love.
No one should kindle the fire of love in his heart anymore, no one should because for him love is just an illusion.
Orland did not chase after him, he only saw Cristin running away with a smile. Somehow Cristin was so careful and like she was closing herself down but she would not give up. He has many opportunities, when they go camping later he will take advantage of the situation well.
Cristin hid in the bathroom to calm down. He was so afraid that he would be lulled by the charm of the man. He should not be involved further and should he refuse the invitation to camping from the man. He was even afraid to imagine what would happen later when they were just the two of them.
After feeling calm, Cristin came out of the bathroom. If he knew 0rland and his father already knew each other then he would not give such a requirement. Cristin stepped out but he was surprised to see Orland leaning against the wall as if waiting for him. Orland smiled, he was happy to see Cristin was fine.
"Why so long?" ask Orland as he approaches her.
"Why are you here?" Cristin looked unhappy.
"I'm worried about you, it's not good to be in the bathroom alone because sexual crimes usually happen in the bathroom."
"are you worried about me?" Cristin looked at him with a look of disbelief.
"Of course, Cristin. I'm so worried about you so don't go to the bathroom alone, take me next time."
"It seems that what I have to be most aware of is you" Cristin said, and that was the reality.
Orland chuckled and grabbed her hand, "Let's go back, your parents are looking for you" he said.
"Hm, thank you, Orland."
"That's it, there's no need to think about it."
"Me-Regarding Camping," Cristin said hesitantly.
"Why? Do you want to cancel it?" asked Orland while stopping his steps.
"Yes, can we not do it? I'm not used to going alone with men" Cristin reasoned.
"Can't, Cristin. I already got your father's blessing on the terms you gave so you can't undo it!" reject Orland.
"I'm just talking, Orland. Please don't take it seriously" Cristin said.
"Oh, the famous Cristin Bailey doesn't like to pull her words now means to make her own? I really didn't expect!" orland intentionally.
"It's not so!" christin said quickly.
"Then?" Orland looked at him with a smile.
Cristin swore, damn it! It seemed like he could not run away and had to keep what he said.
"All right, just camping. I'm not scared!" christin said as he lifted his chin.
"Good!" orland said with a smile.
Cristin was really upset, she could not run anymore moreover both her parents did not mind her being close to Orland even her father asking her to learn from that annoying guy.
They returned to the party room where the guests had already begun to disperse. They approached Cristin's parents who were waiting for their daughter because they were going to take their daughter home.
"Where have you two been?" ask Cristin's mom.
"I-I'm from the bathroom" Cristin replied, pulling her hand from Orland's.
"Two?" ask her mother again.
"No!" Cristin almost replied while shouting. Both of her parents must not misunderstand and think they are doing something in the bathroom.
"Good if that's the case, let's go home," Cristin approached her mother in a hurry.
Orland smiled, as he had expected, Cristin had indeed avoided him.
"Alright, we really want to take you home" said his mother.
"Thank you for the banquet, Mr and Mrs Bailey," Orland said.
"No, we thank you for coming. For the next time, hopefully you can teach our daughter in business" Grifin said.
"Of course, I won't let you down and waste your trust."
"You have to learn right, Cristin. I deliberately invited him not only to do business with him but so that you would be better at doing business let alone you who would inherit everything I have," said his father.
"I know, Dad. I won't let you down" replied Cristin.
"Good, then let's go home."
Cristin nodded, finally he could be away from the man for a while because tomorrow they would meet again and spend so long together and of course torture him.
"Cristin, I'll pick you up tomorrow after lunch" Orland said.
"Hm," Cristin answered briefly.
"May I call you?" ask Orland.
"No! You can't call me until tomorrow!" criticin.
Orland only smiled, while Cristin waved without even looking at him. For a moment he did not want to see his face and hear his voice until tomorrow they went camping which would drain his energy.
"You seem to know him very well, dear," his mother said as they walked away.
"Mom, don't talk about her because I'm lazy to hear her!"
"Well, maybe he's the shitty guy you told Mommy to be" guessed his mom.
"Bu-Non," Cristin denied with a flushed face.
"No need to deny, Honey. Mommy can see from your facial expression if that guy's what you mean," she's getting more convinced.
"What are you talking about, why don't I know?" ask father.
"Dad, is that your daughter?"
"Mom!" Cristin had silenced her mother's mouth so as not to talk about it to her father.
"Hey, what are you keeping secret?"her father was curious.
"Nothing!" christin replied, looking back and looking at Orland, who was talking to his personal assistant.
Orland looked serious but he accidentally saw Cristin who was looking at him. Orland smiled and waved, while Cristin turned her face in a hurry and sped up her pace.
Orland still looked at her with a smile and after that he invited his personal assistant to leave.
"Exclude my schedule for the next few days" Orland ordered. Not only did he take Cristin to go camping to enjoy nature, he would also invite Cristin to go somewhere and of course Cristin should not know because he was sure, the woman would definitely refuse.
"Yes, Sir!!" answer the personal assistant.
They went from a lonely, though brief, party but it was an impressive night with the goddess of fortune. He even left while whistling. I can't wait for tomorrow to come because I can't wait to spend time with the goddess Fortuna.
