You Should Know It Further

Orland was still standing in front of the window and seemed to be thinking. He seemed to be in disbelief if Caitlyn was looking for him. After all these years, yeah, he still remembers the last time they were together. Back then she had not fallen, their relationship was fine but when she fell to its lowest point, Caitlyn disappeared. She even tried to contact him so that Caitlyn would give him a ride for the night alone but his phone was off. She had also been searching for Caitlyn in her apartment but she did not find the whereabouts of the woman.

Caitlyn suddenly disappeared, like her best friends. Not a single word was spoken by Caitlyn back then and now, why was she looking for it?

There was a lot he wanted to know, why Caitlyn just disappeared. Why is Caitlyn not there when she desperately needs that woman.  Maybe he'll ask if he meets Caitlyn.

Orland rubbed his face, no. It doesn't matter, he has to watch out for Caitlyn. Don't let that woman interfere with her relationship with Cristin. The woman would definitely not forgive herself if until she let Caitlyn get close to her again. He knew Cristin did not like betrayal, so he did not want Cristin to misunderstand and thought he was just playing himself.

After all, their relationship was over that night even though the word break up had not been spoken by any of them. A person who is not there when he is down does not mean anything to him anymore. He just has to watch out for Caitlyn. Maybe the woman had another purpose. Do not let the uncle who brought the woman back to approach her and investigate her remember their relationship is not over.

Orland stepped towards his desk. The phone handle was lifted, he wanted to ask Gail to come into his room because of some orders he was about to give.

"To my room soon, Gail!" his orders.

After giving orders to Gail, Orland checked her work and soon after, Gail entered her room.

"What's up, sir?" ask Gail as she approaches her.

"I want you to do a few things, Gail," Orland looked at the assistant, only he could trust.

"Say, Sir. I'll do your orders and not let you down."

"Good, I want you to look for evidence of Cristin's husband's affair and collect it and I also want you to keep an eye on Caitlyn. Command someone to approach him and become a spy, I want to know his purpose back and look for me! If he's seen being with one of my uncle's families, tell me right away!" order Orland.

"Yes, Sir. Is there anything else?" ask Gail.

"No, do the job right!"

"Alright, you should immediately prepare because the meeting will begin" said Gail.

Orland looked at the circular clock in hand, time already showing 8.45. He had a meeting at nine o'clock, so he was already in the office. After the meeting is over, he will call Cristin and take her to lunch together, it seems like she has to tell Cristin about Caitlyn so she doesn't misunderstand if Cristin suddenly sees herself with Caitlyn someday.

Anything can happen and it does not rule out the possibility that he and Caitlyn will meet. Instead of making Cristin angry and hate himself just because of an old relationship that has not ended, it is better for him to be vigilant let alone Caitlyn is meaningless to him.

Orland segera keluar dari ruangan, dia sudah tidak sabar rapat berakhir agar dia bisa menghubungi Cristin. Dia tahu Cristin pasti tidak pergi ke mana pun dan memang saat itu Cristin baru bangun dari tidurnya. Dia terbangun karena ibunya memanggil.

Mariana went into the room, she was worried that her daughter was sick because last night she came home so late. The green jewel necklace given by Orland was on the table. Cristin instantly fell asleep after she exchanged clothes so she had not kept the necklace well.

"Cristin, when are you going to sleep?" Mariana got on the bed and grabbed her forehead.

"What time is it, Mom?" Cristin opened his eyes which still felt heavy.

"Nine o'clock, get up and have breakfast."

"Tell Mommy, what did you guys do last night? Is that Orland's necklace you gave me?" ask her mother to know.

"Yes, we had dinner on the beach side together" Cristin said with a blush.

"Well, sounds fun. Did you enjoy the two of you together?"

"Ten-Of course," Cristin replied.

"Good, Mommy's happy to hear that. Enjoy your time together so you can forget the betrayal Johan committed. The closer you get to Orland, the more you get to know him and that's great for you. You also must not be lulled by the sweet attitude and treat that he just gave. Mommy lets you get close to her but that doesn't mean you don't have to be careful. You need to get to know more about Orland so that the betrayal you're experiencing doesn't happen again."

"Thank you for Mommy's advice" Cristin moved up and hugged her mother from behind. During this time his mother always gave advice to him and he was very lucky his mother always gave him advice.

"If so go take a shower and have breakfast" he said.

"Alright but, Mom. Orland asked me to stay at his house for a week, what do you think of Mommy?"

"Have you agreed?" ask mother.

"Yeah, I told you I'd stay the night."

"If so use that one week to get to know him further. All this time you only knew the outside of it and so did Mommy. He's a good young man and Mommy wishes he was like that. Usually the real nature will be seen at home so use that one week to get to know him further but you have to remember, you have to take care of yourself" said the mother.

"All right, what Mommy said is very true. Will Mommy help me make food after this? I want to go to Orland's office and take him out to eat together."

"Sure, Mommy wait outside."

His mother came out of the room, while Cristin rushed to the bathroom. He wanted to make food for Orland and invite him to eat together. During the bath Cristin thought of the advice given by his mother. There was not much he knew about Orland. She also has no idea of Orland's old life and one thing that intrigues her is Orland's lover.

It seemed that Orland had not yet answered the question completely, it seemed like he had to ask Orland again. He wanted to see the man's reaction. As her mother said, she had to get to know the man further and better so that he would not repeat the same mistake.

After bathing and getting dressed, Cristin came out of the room and headed for the kitchen. His mother was waiting, they were both busy making the food that Cristin was about to bring and after finishing, Cristin immediately went to Orland's office. He looked so excited, he was also already impatient to meet Orland.

An Orland employee escorted him upstairs, Cristin stepped up with a smile on her face. Upon arriving in front of Orland's room, Cristin asks the employee who escorted him to leave because he wants to surprise Orland and is lucky that the employee is willing.

Cristin did not knock again, the door was pushed but when it was slightly open, Crtistin stopped and heard the conversation of Orland and Gail.

"My eyes said Caitlyn was talking to Zion Dmytry when she was looking for you, sir" Gail said.

Cristin stepped back, Caitlyn? Who did Gail mean and why was that woman named Caitlyn looking for Olland? Cristin stopped on the spot, was Orland hiding something from him? I don't know why he was suspicious.
