Faris enjoyed the song from behind the stage while looking at her phone while occasionally looking at Font to see if Sunday came. But it's almost half an hour and Sunday hasn't caught up with it. Faris wondered what he was doing. Then Faris took the initiative to contact Sunday's mobile phone.
Across there began to sound a tinge. But Sunday didn't lift it either. Faris was getting nervous. He walked out of his place and intended to approach Sunday. Arriving in front of the toilet, Faris called Sunday's cell phone again. The vegetables sounded a ringtone.
"Sunday..." Call Faris from outside the toilet. But Sunday did not. He thought Sunday was too late to concentrate on his toilet activity so he could not pick up the phone.
"Sun.." repeated Faris calling again as she looked inside the toilet door and the ringing sound of the cell phone became clearer. Faris hesitates to enter the women's toilet and finds a cell phone ringing behind the door. Faris picked it up and knew it was a Sunday phone.
Faris came out the toilet door. Look around. How can Sunday leave his phone in the toilet. Then where did he go? Faris looked confused and felt that something was wrong. He entered the elevator and headed for the Sunday workspace on the 4th floor. Until there the room was empty. Sunday is not. He's still panicking. Looking at some places that may be visited Sunday but all places do not indicate the presence of Sunday. A message came in on Faris' phone. From unknown numbers.
"Don't worry. Sunday is in a place full of warmth now." The contents of the message Faris opened on her phone. He wondered what the message meant.
"Fire.there's fire..." When he reached the ground floor Faris heard someone shouting.
"Warehouse burns..." There was panic by some people and immediately headed towards the warehouse behind the Font building.
"Sunday..." Faris murmured then immediately shot towards the warehouse which someone said was burning.
A few moments before...
Sunday opened his eyes. His head feels heavy. He felt the air around him moist and dusty. Faintly he caught the shadow of a person from his sight who was still a little blurred due to the newly conscious effects of fainting.
"What's going on?" Sunday murmured with a high degree of confusion but still weak body movements groped his head.
"You're awake." The hoarse voice of a man. Sunday sharpened his slightly blurred vision amid the dim light in the room crowded with stuff.
"You, who?" Sunday squinted his eyes trying to clarify his vision in a slanted position sleeping on that floor. His body felt weak at this moment. He tried to get up but his head was too heavy even just to sit.
"You don't recognize me?" The man was still on his seat in a shabby chair not far from where Sunday lay.
"You..." Sunday tried to remember who the man in front of him was. His vision slowly began to return to normal.
A memory appears inside Sunday's throbbing head.
"I'm Roni."
"Sunday." Answer Sunday in the elevator.
"For what?" Ask Roni.
"System analyst."
"We'll probably be one team later."
Then flashed again where Sunday met Roni in the cafeteria and greeted him. And again when he met Roni in the parking lot at that time and made Sunday wonder what made Roni do that to him.
"What are you doing?" Tanya Sunday was full of astonishment. He was not close to Roni. They just know each other and only greet each other when they meet. Why would he hurt her like this. Take him to a strange place that is not Sunday known at all its existence.
"You want to know why I'm doing this?" Roni got up from his seat and approached Sunday who was now sitting leaning against a pile of stuff after struggling to force himself to get up.
"You want to know?" Roni's birthday while showing his grin in front of Sunday. Within such a close distance Sunday could see Roni's usual friendly-looking face now turned very creepy. Sunday shrieking.
"What made you do this to me?" The raucous Sunday voice held back the cry from being so scared.
"Ask your lover." Roni replied quickly. Hearing that Sunday stiffened.
"Love?" Said Sunday lirih. He wondered where Roni knew he had a lover.
"Yes..." Roni thrust out her phone and showed me a video. Sunday was wide-eyed because it was a video of him and Faris being by the pool of Font back then. Where they look so friendly there.
"You... Where did you get this?" Sunday was about to reach for Roni's phone but as quickly as lightning Roni pulled it and put the phone in his pants pocket.
"How did you guys do it. Dating like that you think no one will ever know?" Roni stayed away from Sunday and sat back in her place.
"Then why?" Sunday looked at Roni still confused.
"What's it like to be Faris' girlfriend?" Roni again showed her grin.
"What exactly do you want?" Sunday was a little frustrated and started to speak in a high tone.
"Is it as fun as being her boyfriend? Are you very happy? Or do you love her so much?" Roni's eyes were like skinning Sunday.
"I don't understand what you want. So please let me go." The sound of Sunday softened back.
"You'd better break up with Faris." Roni's stern words and again he did not pay attention to the Sunday sentence.
"What?" Sunday looked at Roni not understanding.
"Yes, do you know the price you'll pay when you love her?"
"What do you mean?"
"You'll be left by him later. You'll be dumped when he doesn't need you anymore. He'll throw you away when he gets what he wants from you. And believe me, you're gonna thank me right now because I saved you."
"Saved me?"
"Yes, I will save you from being abandoned by him. Because after this you're the one who's gonna leave him. I can make sure of that." Roni laughed after saying that.
"What do you mean, say it quickly." Bentak. Sayup-sayup in the distance still heard a band singing their song. Sunday knew he was still around Font.
"You know, Faris is the cruelest criminal."
"Criminals?" Sunday tried to digest Roni's sentence.
"Yes, he was very happy to play with the hearts of the girls. He would treat her very sweetly at first, then leave her as soon as he got bored and changed with another new girl. Changing girls for her is like changing her clothes. When it's sultry with one outfit, he'll replace it with another." Hearing that little by little Sunday began to understand the direction of Roni's conversation.
"Ahh, poor Desy. Why would Faris be so heartless to leave him who loved her so much." Roni's face turned sad.
"Who's Desy?"
"Who Desy? You don't know Desy?"
"N-no." Sunday looked up at Roni.
"Ask Faris who Desy is." Roni wiped her tears. Sunday saw that and Roni turned his face back to Sunday.
"alright. You better go now. The sooner you leave, it'll be better for you because your heart will be saved and you won't have to feel the pain of being dumped." Sunday tried to get up from his seat but then he staggered and fell. His head is still too heavy. He felt on the sick side and found something wet there. Then he saw blood on his hands. Sunday was a little panicked but he didn't know what to do. Roni knew that and smiled triumphantly.
"After this, Faris will feel what it's like to lose. Losing someone he loves." Roni murmured near Sunday. Sunday did not understand what it meant. And yet Sunday asked Roni, he went out and locked the door.
"Hey, don't go. Don't go." Sunday tried to wake up in limp. He got up to the door. Until the moment he reached the front door, he tried to open it until banged up hoping someone would hear his voice. But he only heard his own voice. Then suddenly he smelled smoke from a burning and started coughing.
The longer the smoke gets in the room. Sunday could not hold it anymore. His breathing slowly grew heavier as the coughing began to force him to hold his breath. Sunday is getting worse. The room is getting hotter. And in the corner of the room began to look the hue of fire that spread almost touching the smoke. Sunday panicked and cried out for help. Body weakens. His breath is getting crowded. He fell down and could not hold it anymore. His eyes ached because of the smoke in the room.
In his decreased level of consciousness he suddenly saw a beam of light and it was as if a door had opened. Then someone stood there and approached him.
If this is my end, I hope everyone will let me go. The sound of Sunday. Then his body grew weaker as his breathing grew heavier until he felt his throat choked and was no longer able to say words, even if it was just a sentence please.
The figure is getting closer and he has resigned if the angel of death takes him away from his current world.
