A sunday? Is that really him? Faris parked his motorcycle and approached the girl he almost hit.
"You hurt?" Sunday looked up and the crouching Faris could clearly see that face was Sunday.
"You, why are you here?" Sunday's face formed like a silhouette due to the light of the street lights behind it. There is a desire like wanting to explode. But Faris had to hold him back. He doesn't want to make Sunday hate him more if he does something.
"You too, what are you doing here?"
"This is my house." From a close distance in the dim light Faris could still see the face of Sunday. Sweet and adorable. There is no significant change.
"Your house?"
"Yes." Yeah." Faris had already restrained herself to her longing that had been tormenting all this time. But dealing with Sunday as close as this makes the defense he has built for several days completely regardless of his control. His hand had been on Sunday's face when Faris realized his actions. But then he pulled it back and took Sunday's hand.
"Here, I'll help you stand up." Faris pulled Sunday's hand and propped up her body to keep it balanced.
"Did your leg hurt?"
"No, it's okay." Sunday shook his head many times.
"Sorry, I don't look right left, and just go right out."
"I hope next time you're not this stupid anymore. How was I hit?" Gerrutu Sunday's. Faris smiled. Everything Sunday says is like a hypnotherapy spree that makes her feel happy. But what Sunday said were the words to scold him.
"Yes, I'm sorry."
"Yes, that's it." Sunday is a bit sengak. He thought this was not at work so he was free to do anything. Boss and subordinate actions no longer apply if they are outside the Font.
"Where are you going?"
"home." Answer Sunday briefly and then turn around leaving Faris.
"Home home last night?"
"Yes." Yeah." Sunday shouted a little as his steps began to drift away. Faris took the bike and chased after it.
"You kidding me about coming home last night? Let me take you."
"Not to."
"When you get kidnapped, how?"
"No way."
"If you meet a ghost?"
"You're the ghost." Sunday stopped his steps.
"Haven't be chatty. Go."
"Hey, why do I think you're being so disrespectful to me."
"Why should?"
"Because I'm your boss."
"On Font. Not here." Sunday continued his steps again. Faris who lined up using his motorbike began to get anxious every Sunday began to judge this way.
"Do you think that's different?"
"Of course, I'm not Font's employee when I'm outside."
"But wherever you are and whenever you're registered as Font's employee."
"Oh yeah? If that's really what you do then how much salary can you pay for me? While at home sleeping, eating, being pup, being.. pokonya even though not working but I remain as a Font employee then why don't you pay also the time I use it?" Sunday is like a train passing by.
"You know, I wasn't a Font employee for 24 hours. So don't set me up like I'm your employee right now. I'm just a Font clerk during business hours. More than that, I'm the people of this country just like you."
Got a long lecture from Sunday he just smiled.
"I'm glad to see you. Even though you're so jutek outside of your hours but I'm glad you work at Font." Sunday did not expect Faris would tell him that. And strangely it made him misbehave. But then he tried to act ordinary again.
Of course you're happy because there I am your free subordinate you command and you are oppressed. Batin Sunday's.
Sunday still stands in front of his boarding house and Faris also still insists on taking him home. He does not know if Sunday lives in kos now. Actually Sunday does not want Faris to know his house is next to the Sunday boarding house but Faris like not want to move before Sunday want to be delivered. Sunday finally gave up.
"Already, gohome. I'm going in."
"Where to go?"
"To the inside." Sunday pointed at the gate behind him. Faris looked towards the house inside.
"You live here?" Faris was curious about how the house became a Sunday residence.
"Kos, I'm boarding here."
"Ooo, since when?"
"Why do you want to know?"
"Because I want to." Answer Faris quickly.
"You don't have to know, you're not the head of RT here."
"But I'm..."
"Already... already go. I'm gonna get in this." Sunday pushed Faris' shoulder.
"All right, then. I'm leaving." Faris started his big bike. Sunday just nodded. After Faris left after sharing his angelic smile, Sunday returned to the boarding house.
It's really more than a curse. This is a very scary threat. How could Faris' house move there. Why I never knew. Sunday went into the bathroom. I really want him to refresh his body so that his mind can also come fresh.
Meanwhile Faris stops his bike at one of the cafes. Upon entering it, Gina waved at him.
"There's a little business I have to do first." Faris.
"You said it was coming straight for me."
"This is an unexpected sudden affair."
"All right." Gina understands.
"I ordered, what did you order?" Gina handed me a menu book.
"Orange juice only."
"You're so cute. Your habits have not changed. I always loved orange juice."
"So much to like." Faris smiled. Gina liked the man in front of her.
"So, why do you want me here?"
"I just want you to be with me." Gina replied in her soft voice.
"Bored to be at home this afternoon."
"It's 10 p.m. Girls shouldn't be outside late at night."
"What rules is that? It was just a rule for women of old times. We live in the millennial age. There should be a difference too, dong." Faris smiled wryly seeing Gina speak like that.
Gina was raised in a well-equipped family where both parents were busy with their respective jobs. My mom and dad both manage the company. And that makes Gina has a free association and there are no standard rules in her family. It doesn't have to be a home-based woman, it doesn't have to be a curfew and Gina finally has a free life. Faris knew this girl often seemed lonely. An only child and rarely have active communication with his family. There's been a sense of pity since Faris started to know him first. Therefore he was always willing to accompany Gina if she asked him. He imagined if Gina was his sister maybe he would treat her well and not let her be lonely like this.
"I'm so hungry." Gina put the steak in her mouth.
"There is no food in your house?"
"There is, but I don't want to eat alone." Feed the food again until the mouth is almost full. It looks like a real famine.
"Your food-pants."
"You know, my house is like a cemetery every day. To the extent that I often imagine that if I had died in my room no one would have known."
"There's still a housekeeper in your house. That can't happen."
"They weren't my parents so they had no obligation to watch over me. They can only take care of me but not to pay attention to me." Gina chewed her food while looking down to hide something that almost fell from her eyes.
"But I'm not a child. Why should I care about that. I can live alone. I can do anything myself. I can even work on my own without asking them for money. No need to enjoy what they have." Gina again showed her cheerful face. That instant Faris seemed to know why Gina insisted on working at Font. Not even working for his papa company.
"Ehh, don't you eat too?" Tanya Gina only realized that Faris had not ordered the food.
"No, I'm full."
"Would you try this steak? It's really delicious. The maturity of his flesh is fitting for me." Gina thrust out a piece of steak in her fork.
"No, just eat." Faris slapped Gina's hand.
"All right." Gina continued eating. Faris really pity him. That was why Gina often acted spoiled to people she knew. Since childhood, it was like he had no family. He was used to doing anything alone. Indeed all his needs are always fulfilled considering the wealth of his parents are abundant. But what Gina really needs isn't just that. He also needs love. And her parents were too busy to give it to her. Therefore Faris always tried to be family to him.
"Ahh, so full." Gina had already finished her meal and had just drank a large glass of her drink.
"After this let's clubbing."
"No, let's just go home. Tomorrow we have to work."
"It's okay. Just until midnight. Not until morning."
"Don't, let's go home."
"Come on, I'm not gonna fuck around in there. I just need to sweat after eating that." Gina chuckles.
"You know, I'm afraid of getting fat after eating steak at this curfew."
"You can do sports in your home. You have a lot of gym equipment there."
"Ahh, I told you my house was like a grave. If I exercise there it's the same as if I'm exercising at the grave." Gina then laughed.
"No, the pokonya you should go home. I'll force you."
"Oh yeah? How's it?" Gina is challenging.
"I'll drag you."
"Well, you're a sadist." Gina was laughing.
"Here you go, let's go home."
"Why are you a good man now? You used to want me to go clubbing. You've changed a lot now, Ris."
"I haven't changed, I'm just changing habits."
"Oh yeah? Why not change skin. Like a chameleon." Gina laughed again. Even though Gina laughs a lot tonight, Faris knows there's something she's hiding. I don't know what kind of sadness he was trying to hide. All of that was visible from the look of his almost teary eyes.
"Here you go, let's go to your house."
"We? To my house?"
"Yes, I'll take you."
"No, I need you to accompany me to bed." Answer Gina origin. Faris was aghast at Gina's request. Then he tried to calm down.
"Okay, I'll go with you to bed."
"really?" Faris nodded. Gina smiled broadly. I can't believe the answer Faris gave. His heart cheered. A Faris will accompany him to sleep tonight. Tomorrow morning he will be the happiest man on earth.
