Miss of Sunday

Miss of Sunday
Early Stage Test

Sunday is on the bike. His mother warned him not to be late. The test starts at 8 a.m. The trip takes 1 hour. It took him at least half an hour to calm down so the test went smoothly with his clear mind.

At half-time 7 Sunday left the house. Actually it would be easier if Om Rudi drove him but it was the same as showing off who he really was. So Sunday chose to go alone.

An hour's drive was taken by Sunday and now he enters a building with six floors. Sunday was amazed to see the loby of the building that nuanced cool. On some walls attached plasma monitor screen with a width of about 2 meters and a length of 3 meters displays green images of the forest. Entering the lobby as if Sunday was in a city forest. Not only that, the employees here almost all do not wear work clothes and even closer to casual clothes and casual looks. Not stopping his admiration for the place, someone called him to come closer.

"You're one of the test takers?"

"Yes." Yeah."

"Let's over here." Sunday and several people in neat clothes were herded into entering a room on the ground floor. When it arrived, Sunday finally knew it seemed like it was a hall. Seen a very large room with chairs lined up where test takers work on tests later.

Sunday looks for a chair that matches its registration number before entering the room. He pulled it out of the seat closest to the door. It turned out that he found his seat in row number three of the door but was located in seat number two from the front. The seats in the room consist of 40 seats. Sunday thought that he had to compete with 40 people to get an acceptable opportunity to occupy an employee position in one of the divisions.

The room began to fill with test takers. And at exactly 8 o'clock someone came in carrying a stack of papers. The person introduces himself as the test supervisor. After introducing himself, he then distributed the question paper to all participants.

An hour and a half is the time allotted. About tests about general knowledge, basic knowledge of informatics and psychotes. Sunday answered the question quite seriously. And exactly an hour and a half he finished the test. After that he gathered and left the room. He was a little relieved because the initial test had been passed. Waiting for the announcement to follow the next stage.

Sunday came out of the Font Software House building with a light heart. Until Sunday parking lot got a phone call. Her mother.

"How, Sun? Can you?"

"Can, Ma. Pray I get away with it."

"If you want to get away, let Om Rudi get you out."

"Mama..." Sunday answered lazily.

"Eventually given the easy way you even want the hard way."

"If it's too easy there's no challenge, Ma. Anyway I don't want to go through the shortcut that's considered appropriate."

"You're too idealistic." Mama's grouse.

"I want to go home, Mom. We'll go on again."

"Yes, be careful with your bike."

"Every Boss."

Then the phone closed and put in his bag. Just Sunday will put forward the bike a phone came in again.

"Who else is calling?" Sunday Gumama.

"Sun, how?"

"It's over, brother. It's me going home." Answer Sunday to Victor.

Why is everyone so sweet. I'm not as good as him. Is being unemployed very sad for them? Batin Sunday's.

"Let's take Sunday, I teach first." Pamit a teacher.

"Oh yes, sir."

Sunday is alone in the teacher's room. Today is actually not a teaching schedule but because of the tests he did yesterday, he so replaced it to be today and exchanged with other subject teachers. There was still 15 minutes for him to go to the computer room. Sunday opened his social media. It seems like he hasn't played with it in a long time. Read and see posts from friends. One by one appear on the veranda. There was a friendship suggestion coming through and it was Faris's. For a moment his gaze was fixed on the profile photo of Faris set in the Colosseum in Rome, Italy. A selfie with the same smile. His heart suddenly rippled softly. There was a longing that slowly infiltrated. He looks fine.

"Why do you love being a sailor?" Ask Sunday at that time.

"Because I preserve the livelihoods of my ancestors."

"really?"

"Yes. because...

My ancestors were sailors

I love to wade through the ocean

The waves are not afraid

storm is common

Wind blowing screen expanding

The waves are falling on the beach

The young man dared to rise up now

Into the sea we abound..." Faris instead sang the song My Grandmother A Sailor that even Sunday did not remember the lyrics. Sunday laughed as Faris sang along with her movements like a real sailor. Sometimes like paddling, sometimes like a wave driven, very funny. Sunday laughed until his eyes watered. Faris really doesn't jaim against him.

Lots of Sunday togetherness with Faris that contains cuteness. Maybe this is what makes it liked by girls, including Sunday which is comfortable every time with him. He can put himself right in a variety of moments. When Sunday sad Faris like positioning himself into a backrest. Calm Sunday with words of wisdom that he can somehow from reading what book. Or when Sunday is angry, Faris will be funny until Sunday can not stand and laugh. But unfortunately the last anger Sunday against him he considered because of Faris's most fatal mistake so any cuteness, persuasion however did not make Sunday melt. He already felt played and Sunday difficult to accept it. But in all his anger at Faris, Sunday still often dreamed of Faris. When he wakes up, he will miss him a lot. It was like missing someone who would never meet each other. The misses that stifle hate between them.

"Teeeeett..." The clock bell rang. Sunday came out of his daydream. He closed his social media. It's time to teach. Put the phone back in his bag and leave the teacher's room.

Sunday ate his siomay in the rest area near the school where he was teaching when Victor approached. Seeing the voracious Sunday, Victor became tempted and ordered it too. After getting a plate of siomay, Victor sat down next to Sunday.

"Hey, eat too? What if your student knows this?"

"Why is that?"

"Let them laugh at you, brother."

"Just be it." Victor cuek and continue to feed his siomay until it runs out.

Sunday has been over since. Victor drank his iced tea and wiped his mouth with a tissue.

"What's looking for me, brother?"

"Nothing, just need a friend."

"No teaching?"

"There's a clock." Victor drank his iced tea again.

"It's almost one o'clock." Sunday saw his watch.

"Go, you'll be late."

"Hmm. Don't start again." Sunday was like warning Victor not to continue his ray action. Victor knew it was troubling Sunday so he didn't continue the action. Then his phone rang by the notification sound of incoming messages. Sunday saw.

"Yes!!!" The face of Sunday Sumringah saw the contents of the message on her phone.

"What's wrong?" Victor curious.

"I passed the early stage test, brother."

"Guild congratulations." Victor was happy. "Do we have to celebrate?"

"Not now, it's just the beginning."

"Well, if it's really accepted, you'll have to buy me a meal."

"Berers..." The face of Sunday sumringah.

"Next week is an interview. And also..what is this?" Sunday read the continuation of his message.

"Should include some files." Sunday check one by one additional requirement.

"Health certificate? Is that necessary too?"

"There are some companies that need that requirement. Maybe companies like this need employees with maximum health because of high employment rates. And after I worked in the software house had a high and solid hours. Do you know how to do college work yourself? Well like that also working as an employee in the software house." Sunday understood.

"Alright, then tomorrow I have to go to the hospital."

"I'll just take it with me."

"No, I can do it myself."

"You know, during a health test you have to really relax. You can't sweat one bit. Do not be tired until your blood pressure will be high. It should not be hot until your body temperature rises. So if you want a good health test result, let me take you. You just need to prepare yourself. How's it?" Sunday seemed to think a little.

"All right..." Sunday agreed on Victor's persuasion. Victor smiled with satisfaction.

The hospital closest to the Sunday house today is not so crowded. It seems like people are in good shape lately. Sunday waiting in line for the delivery of general practitioner services. Looking around it felt like he had not been to this hospital for a long time. Of course because all this time he did not need medical services for his illness which is only limited to flu or other mild illness. The last time I came here was with Faris and it's been a long, long time.

Sunday breathed heavily. Faris flashed again in his mind.

"Miss Sunday." Call a nurse. Sunday goes into the examination room accompanied by Victor and sees someone who is no stranger to him.

"Sister Mery..."

"Hey, Sunday. I thought there were a lot of Sunday names but it turns out this is true of you. How are you?"

"Good Brother." Victor saw that so astonished. We got to know a doctor at this hospital.

"Him?" Mery glanced at Victor coding Sunday who the man he was with was.

"Oh, he's my friend."

"Friends?"

"Yes, man. Just friends?"

"Yes, brother." Sunday so wrong to get a view like teasing from Mery.

"Sister, introduce him to Fa's theme... Faris." Sunday rather stammered the name Faris.

"Sister Mery. Brother Mery, it's Victor."

Mery and Victor shake hands.

"So, how's Faris doing now?"

"Looks good, Brother." Sunday answered rather nervously because in fact he also did not know for sure.

"seems like? You're good friends with him."

"Yes, I think I've lost contact with him lately."

"Oh, he likes to come and go on his own." Mery's grumpy was upset.

"Ehh, so forget. So you want a health check?"

"Yes Brother."

"For?"

"Working requirements, Brother."

"Okay, we'll start with a blood check right away." Mery then started taking blood lancet to take a sample of Sunday's blood. A series of tests were conducted until it was completed.

Sunday sat in the waiting room with Victor next to him. Waiting for the results from the laboratory.

"So, who exactly is Mery?"

"Why? A crush?" Goda Sunday's. Victor smiled knot.

"She is beautiful, so physically very qualified to be judged by a normal man. And I'm one of those normal guys."

"Basic man." Sunday sneering.

"You jealous?"

"No..." Sunday answered quickly.

"He's Faris' girlfriend?"

"Let's know, as far as I've ever been together. But as a friend or girlfriend I don't know."

"Faris is really cool. He was always one step ahead. All the beautiful girls he could conquer. Like you."

"Why me?"

"Hey, I'm not a fool who doesn't understand anything. You think I was deaf then? He said he liked you." Sunday was silent in memory of that long-standing event. And he was saved from talking about Faris when a nurse called him into Mery's room again the lab results were out.
