Sunday left Faris at his place and headed to the cafeteria where his teammates were having lunch. Sunday sat the table near his friends eating.
"Hey Sun, eat. To make the next race you're more excited." Mr. Dedi was the first to notice his arrival.
"Yes sir." Answer Sunday relax.
"Order your food as soon as the break ends. After this we have to take the next race."
"What's the next race?" Ask Sunday.
"Feeding a cradle." Answer Lita.
"Oh..." Sunday's expression was flat and she ordered meatballs to be brought back to join her friends.
Sunday seasoning meatballs ala herself. Without sausage, without soy sauce, a little lime with sambal to suit his taste. When stirred meatballs in front of him spread an amazingly delicious aroma. Sunday felt the meatballs here the more here the more have a perfect taste. Unlike the first time Sunday tried it while still a new employee.
Was excited Sunday enjoying the meatballs when Faris sat next to him and suddenly grabbed the hand of Sunday who was holding a fork filled with meatballs and then feed into the mouth of Faris.
"Hey, are you okay?" Sunday reflex hit Faris' shoulder. The friends at the table beside him turned their heads. They immediately put on a strange face to see the proximity of Sunday and Faris, except Lita. Sunday cleared his throat to cover up his misdeeds.
"Sir Faris, I'll order it for you myself." Said Mr. Dedi who saw Faris reclaim the meatballs from the hands of Sunday and Sunday seemed to object.
"No need, sir. I have to keep the Sunday meal portion from eating too much." Faris said while chuckling. Sunday glares. How could he do that to her.
"Here you go, order your own food. Don't bother my appetite." Whisper Sunday to Faris.
"You must not be too full, after this you must eat all the crackers and also so that I am not too heavy while carrying you l." Faris scooped up the meatball again and stuffed it into her mouth.
"Me?" Sunday does not understand.
"Yes." Yeah."
"Isn't the cracker match part of Lita and Boby?"
"No, Lita has to do the water bike later."
"Oh God..." Sunday cupped both hands to his face. Lita who saw that was astonished.
"What's up, Sun?"
"You want to trade the cracker race?" Ask Sunday.
"You said you couldn't swim. So how can you replace me with water cycling?"
"Ahh yes..." Sunday lowered his head deeply. Lita just smiled.
"Then, accept your fate." Faris said with a grin. Sunday looked at him sharply.
"Why do you have to fight my crackers?" Whisper Sunday again.
"You think I'll let someone else carry you? Don't expect." Faris chewed on the meatballs again. Sunday understood. Faris does have a high totality in many ways. Including when she must be total to be possessive of him.
"By the way, how much sambal did you put in your bowl?"
"6 spoons." Answer the Sunday cuek. Faris who started to feel her mouth burning turned frantic because the drinks on the table had all been sipped by Sunday. Eventually Faris half ran over to the showcase and picked up a bottle of soft drink. Sipping it was almost used up to eliminate the overwhelming spicy sensation on his mouth. Sunday who saw it could only hold back the laughter.
"Who told me to eat someone else's food without excuse." Sunday muttered looking at Faris at the end of her eyes.
The break is over. The competition will resume. Most of the participants have already started preparing at the starting line. Sunday and Faris were already standing in line with other participants. Gina also participated in this fat cracker race. He and his division colleagues were also seen standing a few steps from the place Sunday and Faris. The view is not separated at all from the direction Sunday is located.
The referee appeared to give a briefing on race rules. Until it is felt that all participants understand, the referee immediately began to carry out his duties leading the match.
"1... 2... 3..." immediately Sunday jumped onto the back of Faris who had lowered his body before. Once in the right place, Faris immediately took Sunday to where the crackers were hung. Other participants did the same. Gina did not want to lose and quickly ate the crackers on it while looking up.
Faris tried to hold back Sunday's weight and keep her body balanced so Sunday could calmly eat her crackers. There is still the rest of the krupuk when the host says that there has been someone who managed to spend krupuk. Sunday glanced next to him and found Gina cheering happily for being the first to successfully finish her crackers.
Finally Sunday pulled the cracker with his hand and asked Faris to lower it. Next Sunday continued to eat his crackers while walking over from the arena. From the edge of the Sunday arena saw Gina approaching Faris who was also walking towards the edge. I don't know what he told Faris but Sunday believes it must be just Gina's effort to be with Faris alone.
Then Sunday walked to the place where his teammates gathered. Looks like Lita is stretching by moving her original body.
"You ready?" Ask Sunday after being near Lita.
"Yes, of course." Lita is still moving her body.
"May it work." Sunday patted Lita on the shoulder and sat on the grass not far from where Lita was standing. Faris suddenly sat down next to him. Sunday glanced at him for a while without wanting to say hello.
"When I teach you to swim."
"no need. I don't live in water and I'm quite happy living on land." Answer the Sunday origin.
"You are, you love to argue."
"Stupid time." Sunday muttered and made Faris anxious to see his weakness.
The water bike race is almost underway. All the participants are ready by the pool. Lita and Boby have also joined other participants. When the host says start, the first participant starts to pedal the bike in a narrow track above the pool. And after a few meters of pedaling, the bike splashed into the pool. Everyone's cheers became rium.
Some of the participants have done their tasks and none of them succeeded, Lita even Boby could not reach and was only able to pedal a few times. The soaked litter came out of the pool. Sunday offered a towel to dry his body.
"You know, it's harder than building a mobile-based project design." Grunts Lita. Sunday chuckled in response to Lita's words.
"Most importantly you've tried. I can't even win the cracker-eating race."
"Ahh, you're even worse than me." Lita sneers. Sunday chuckles.
This time it was Gina's turn to show her abilities. Confidently he stood on a bicycle by the pool. Seemed to be concentrating on looking at the small trajectory in front of him. After the guide gave a signal, Gina began to pedal her bike up the track to cross the pool. But almost half of Gina's journey failed and splashed into the pool. The mood returned. The next participant had also started to get ready. But Gina didn't come to the surface either. It made everyone curious about what was happening. The host called Gina's name but she didn't show up either.
Faris began to look panicked and came calling her name by the pool. But nil. Gina didn't come out soon. Sunday is worried. Everyone is panicking too. Without a second thought Faris threw himself into the pool to look for Gina. A moment of silence. Sunday to save the breath because it saw Faris had not emerged from the water.
And a few seconds later Faris revealed the top of his head. Sunday breathing relief. In his right arm he grabbed Gina by the neck and took her to the edge. With the help of some people Gina was raised to the pool. Faris was worried. He tries to give first aid to Gina by pressing on Gina's chest so that her heart can be pumped back. Gina had not yet opened her eyes and was still weakly drooping. Faris is still trying to resuscitate Gina in various ways but has not succeeded. Finally he tried to use further CPR technique which is to open the respiratory tract by raising Gina's head. But it still hasn't worked. Then slowly Faris lowered her face to the face of Gina who was still unconscious. Seeing that Sunday's worry turned into a feeling of panic after he managed to read Faris's mind.
"Wait..." Sunday came to Faris. Faris turned her face to Sunday.
"Wait.wait a minute..." Sunday was already next to Gina now. Everyone was confused to see the Sunday behavior.
"Let me do it."
"What?"
"Yes, I'll do CPR. You move aside." Sunday pulled Faris' wet body away from Gina. Faris moved from her place.
Sunday approached Gina and pressed down on Gina's chest as he knew it while training in scouts. Next Sunday intends to give artificial breath. Sunday had brought her face closer to Gina's face when suddenly Gina spouted water on Sunday's face and began to choke and cough. Sunday breathing relief. Gina is back.
"How, Gin?" Faris asked. Gina just shook her head weakly without saying anything. Sunday called a medical team to take Gina to the clinic on a stretcher.
Gina's been taken by the medical team. The crowd of employees and race participants began to disperse. The show resumed. Sunday put the towel on Faris' shoulder and intended to leave but Faris held back by pulling Sunday's hand.
"Thank you." Faris showed off her smile.
"Why?" Sunday frowned.
"I don't have to feel guilty about it."
"What are you talking about?" Faris did not reply immediately but merely gave a meaningful smile.
"Hahh, I know you really want to, right?" Cibir Sunday while walking away. Faris.
"I know you don't want me to kiss Gina, do you?" Faris teases Sunday
"I don't think so." Sunday evasive.
"Then, why prevent me when I'm going to give him artificial breath?"
"I didn't mean to prevent you but the way you did it was wrong so instead of endangering Gina, I'd rather do it."
"Oh yeah? Are you that good? Are you a member of the SAR team?"
"Hey, I've had scout training."
"Really, when was that? Isn't that a long time ago."
"But I'm too smart to just forget it."
"Yes yes. well I believe." Faris returned the towel that had been used to dry her wet hair.
"Let's see Gina." Take Faris, Sunday follows.
Gina lay in a clinic bed with a doctor examining her. Then after the doctor left and made sure Gina was okay, a nurse came to bring the patient's clothes to wear Gina change her wet clothes.
"Let me help you change your clothes." The nurse offered to.
"No need, I can do it myself." Gina replied while picking up a pile of change of clothes in the nurse's hand. He'll take off his wet shirt but the nurse is still standing there.
"Hey, do you want to see me change my clothes?" Gina glared at the nurse.
"Oh sorry, I'll go. If you need anything, please just call me."
"Yes, you're gone." Gina flicked her hand telling the nurse to leave while covering the curtains that covered the patient bed where Gina changed clothes. Congolese heart. Almost made Faris kiss her but Sunday messed up by preventing her.
"It's a good thing I responded quickly, otherwise Sunday would have stolen my kiss from Faris. Maybe he'd want to replace Faris, give me artificial breath. Which woman would be kissed by another woman. Huhh, you're the plan destroyer." Gina muttered annoyedly while changing her clothes.
"She..." Faris enters Gina's treatment room. Gina who had just changed her clothes immediately lay down and pretended to sleep. He threw his clothes under the bed. Faris then pulled the curtain over Gina's bed. At that time for the umpteenth time Gina was disappointed, behind Faris there was Sunday.
"How are you doing?"
"I feel like I'm going to die." Complain Gina.
"What are you saying. You're okay now." Faris sat at Gina's bedside. Sunday sat on an empty bed beside Gina's bed.
"Why did you suddenly drown? Aren't you good at swimming?"
"So, I suddenly cramped when I fell earlier."
"Alright, then rest." Faris justifies Gina's blanket.
"Don't go." Gina pulled Faris' hand as Faris was about to move. Sunday turned his face away when he saw that. It's annoying to see such a spoiled Gina.
"Yes, I'm not leaving." Faris sat down. Sunday began to fade and then he stood up from his seat.
"Where are you going?" Ask Faris.
"I'll get out first." Without waiting for the next word from Faris, Sunday stepped away.
Sunday closed the door to Gina's treatment room. He was so lazy to see Gina being so spoiled towards Faris like that. He always knew how to make Sunday jealous. Sunday bought a bottle of drink at the cafeteria and took it out. All the race is over. It's dark. The highlight of tonight's event is the gift-giving and performing arts. But the show is not yet starting. So Sunday decided to sit on the long bench of Font Park. Drinking his drink hoped that his cobbled heart could be slightly cured.
Font Park is gone. The art scene will be held on the other side of the parking lot so the center of activity has moved there now.
"What are you doing there?" Faris's voice approached. Sunday turned towards Faris.
"Why are you here? Gina will be looking for you." It was cold Sunday.
"He had to rest, so I left him to sleep."
"Didn't he want you to be with."
"But I'd rather accompany someone who's lonely here."
"Where do you know I'm here?"
"You don't know, I've implanted a GPS in your body so wherever you are I'll know where you are."
"Oh yeah? When?" Sunday knitted his brows hearing Faris's silliness.
"When I kissed your forehead." Hearing Faris's sentence immediately the face of Sunday flushed with the sensation of butterflies arising again in his stomach. Not lost that sensation, suddenly Faris lay down using the lap of Sunday as his pillow.
"Hey, what are you doing? Someone will see." Sunday gasp.
"Let me be like this." Sunday saw Faris' face underneath.
"You know, I've always wanted to see your face from this angle. I'm tired of seeing you from the top." Faris smiled seeing Sunday's nervous face looked at like that.
"You're prettier than here." Faris raised her face.
"You can't just for a moment not seduce me."
"I'm not seducing, I'm telling the truth." Sunday held back a smile so Faris wouldn't tease him more. But his heart warmed. Faris always knew how to make Sunday blush.
"Don't leave no matter what. Don't be influenced by anything and anyone so you have a reason to leave me."
"What do you mean?" Sunday looked at Faris in his lap. Faris replied with a gentle look typical of her, which made the heart of Sunday beat noisily.
