38. Not Wanting to Add to the Burden of Mind

Reno who was very neat with her work clothes was straight out of the room and towards the dining table. There they were all still waiting for him.

" I'm sorry, I made you all wait " said Reno and sat down on one of the chairs next to Siska.

" Dad why so long? " ask Nadia to Reno.

" I'm sorry, honey, I fell asleep after morning prayers" Reno replied.

" Must be Dad last night can not sleep because Mommy sleeps with Nadia so Dad overslept after morning prayers" said Nadia guessing the cause of her father's sleep again after performing morning prayers.

Reno immediately glanced at Siska. Likewise with Arisa, he suspects why Siska who is still a newlywed instead sleeps with Nadia.

" Ahem, now mending us breakfast just yuk. You are even late" said Siska did not want them to discuss it again.

Siska brought rice and side dishes for Reno and Nadia first and then new for herself. Reno is very grateful even though her relationship and Siska are not okay but Siska still does her duty and obligation to serve her and also take good care of Nadia. Siska also does not show the house people that they are not okay. Siska is not childish with her own ego and does not think of others.

" Thank you, Deck" said Reno received a plate that already contained food.

Siska nodded her head but without the usual smile. Reno realized Siska was acting that way because of her fault.

After that, they all had breakfast quietly.

" I went to school first, afraid of being late" Arisa said after she finished her glass of milk.

Arisa stood up from her sitting position and kissed Reno's hand.

" Assalamualaikum" said Arisa.

" Walaikumsalam "answer them.

Arisa gets out of the house to go to school.

" Gosh, I want permission to go to Daddy and Mommy's house this morning with Nadia" Siska said, asking Reno for permission.

Reno is now her husband and she can't leave if Reno doesn't give her permission.

" Alright, later Mas will take you all to the office" said Reno wanted to take his son and wife.

" Don't do it, and then it's late. We can take a taxi "push Siska.

" No, you better use another car if you don't want Mas anterin" Reno told Siska.

" Yes" replied Siska.

Then they went on to spend the breakfast that was still left on their plates.

" Mad, go to work first "part Reno when they have finished breakfast.

Siska and Nadia take Reno to work

" Yes Mas" replied Siska still flat on Reno.

" You be careful on the road. Father is also the spirit of his work ", Nadia told the father.

" Yes dear" replied Reno smiling then kissing Nadia's forehead.

" You will also be careful on the road" said Reno.

" Yes" replied Siska.

Siska and Nadia kissed Reno's hand and Reno kissed Siska's forehead long enough to channel her feelings and Siska did not reject it.

" Assalamualaikum" said Reno.

" Walaikumsalam" replied Siska and Nadia.

After that, Reno got into the car and left the house to go to his office.

" Now we go in and get ready for Opa and Oma's house" Siska told Nadia.

" Yes Mother, Nadia can't wait to meet Opa with Oma" replied Nadia.

Siska smiled hearing that.

An hour later, Siska and Nadia had just arrived at Daddy Smith's family home. Siska invites Nadia to get out of the car immediately.

" Let's love "take Siska after they get out of the car.

" Yes Mother" replied Nadia holding Siska's hand.

The two of them went straight into the house after Bi Mina the butler opened the door for them.

" Welcome, Miss and Little Miss" said Bi Mina bowing her body saluting Siska and Nadia.

" Yes Bi. Thank you "answered Siska.

" Where's Mommy, Bi? " ask Siska because Mommy Amelia did not welcome her arrival.

" The madam is in the back garden making fruit, Miss " replied Bi Inah.

" Well, it must be good" said Siska who suddenly also wanted fruit rujak.

" Dear, we follow Oma to the back garden yes" continued Siska on Nadia.

" Yes Mother" replied Nadia who was still holding Siska's hand.

Then Siska and Nadia went straight to the back garden to meet Mommy Amelia. He was quite surprised to see Mommy Amelia wearing a hijab.

" Assalamualaikum" said Siska and Nadia.

" Eh, walaikumsalam" replied Mommy Amelia who was peeling young mangoes with a waiter.

Siska and Nadia kiss Mommy Amelia's hand.

" Mommy's wearing a hijab? " siska said when she saw Mommy Amelia who now uses the hijab like herself.

" Yes dear. Mommy wants to be like you who started learning to close the letter ", replied Mommy Amelia smiling.

" Thank God" said Siska hugging Mommy Amelia.

" Oma is more beautiful if you use hijab like Nadia and Mommy" Nadia told Mommy Amelia.

" Ah, thank you dear " said Mommy Amelia kissing both cheeks Nadia.

Mommy Amelia already considers Nadia as her own biological granddaughter. She loves Nadia, and Daddy Smith.

Siska joined Mommy Amelia to make fruit. Siska even really enjoyed the fruit.

" You've only stayed a day at your husband's house when you've been here again. Not comfortable? " mommy Amelia said to Siska.

I don't know why Mommy Amelia feels Siska is having problems with her household. Although Siska did not say it, Mommy Amelia could feel it because she was a mother.

" Angoing, Mom. Siska is just bored, especially Mas Reno has started to enter the office again today "answered Siska trying to look okay.

Siska also did not lie completely because Reno entered the office faster.

Mommy Amelia smiled. " Mommy doesn't think that's all. Mommy can feel that you are not okay but if you don't want to tell a story, too. But if you want any story, Mommy will always be a place for you to tell all your problems" Mommy Amelia told Siska.

Siska lowered her head hearing that for a while and smiled. She is so grateful to have a mother like Mommy Amelia.

Siska deliberately went to her parents' house to forget a little about the problems that occurred in the household that had only been running for a few days but instead Mommy Amelia also felt that she was not okay. Siska does not want to add to the burden of Mommy Amelia's mind so she chooses not to tell her what happened.
