37. Get Rid of All Memories

Reno went into her room and laid her body on the bed. He was still thinking about Siska's attitude which suddenly changed when this morning they were fine.

" Why is Siska Deck? " said Reno astonished.

Then Reno saw a wedding photo of herself with Anisa who was still hanging in the room.

" Athaghfirullah, why can I forget to keep all these photos. Surely Dek Siska's attitude changed because of this. God, why can I forget " said Reno only realized what was the cause of the change in his wife's attitude.

Reno completely forgot to put away all her memories with Anisa for being too busy taking care of the wedding preparations as well as the work at the office. He also never allowed anyone to enter his room without being there.

Reno got up from her bed and took down a picture of her marriage to Anisa.

" I hurt Dek Siska again" said Reno rubbing his face rough.

Reno also realizes that Siska's luggage and belongings are not in her room.

" I have to explain everything tomorrow to Dek Siska and apologize " said Reno because he did not want to misunderstand between them.

After that Reno came out of her room to pick up some cardboard boxes and then came back again. Reno put all her photographs and memories together with Anisa into the boxes. He had to get rid of all those memories so that he could calmly start a new relationship with Siska. Reno also put in all of Anisa's clothes which were still neatly stored until there was not a single item left.

Up to three hours later, Reno had just finished putting Anisa's memorabilia into a cardboard box and taking her to a room where she was storing old things.

" I'm sorry Anisa but it's for the sake of the relationship I just built with Dek Siska" Reno said, exiting the room.

While passing through the kitchen, Reno sees Bu Ijah drinking.

" Loh, sir why are the nights here? " asked Bu Ijah a little surprised.

" I've just packed up the stuff in my room, ma'am" Reno replied.

" Oh yes Ma'am, Miss Ijah know where Dek Siska put her things? " ask Reno to Bu Ijah.

" Mrs Siska brought all her belongings to the guest room below, Mister. Lady Siska said that she was uncomfortable in Mr.'s room and would talk about it with Mr. " Ms. Ijah replied.

The guilt in Siska was growing in Reno's heart. He was so sorry to forget to get rid of Anisa's memories.

" Yes Ma'am, thanks" Reno told Bu Ijah.

" Yes sir " replied Ms. Ijah.

Reno went to his room to perform the tahajud prayer because it was three o'clock last night and continued by reading the Qur'an to wait for dawn.

" O Allah, please open the heart of Deck Siska to forgive the servant because the servant who was not aware of him had hurt his heart" Reno said in his prayer.

After performing the morning prayers, Reno felt her eyes were too heavy to open. He felt very sleepy because he had not slept all night. Reno finally broke down and began to close her eyes.

Siska came out of Nadia's room to pray in congregational dawn but they only prayed together only three because Reno did not come to the mosque.

" Maybe Dad was tired so do not pray congregation" said Nadia when out of the mosque.

" Yes maybe, darling " replied Siska.

Then Siska went to the kitchen to cook breakfast together with Bu Ijah.

The day was already looking very bright thanks to the sunlight. They had all gathered at the dinner table for breakfast together except Reno.

" Let Mommy call your father" said Siska.

Siska immediately went to Reno's room. Siska took a deep breath and exhaled while in front of Reno's room door. He had to prepare his heart if he had to see the friendly photos of Reno and Anisa in the room.

Tok to tok.

Siska knocked on the door of the room.

" Mas Reno, let's go out and have breakfast" Siska said at Reno's doorstep.

Siska knocked on the door and called out to her, but Reno did not open the door. Siska finally decided to go to Reno's room. It just so happened that the room was not locked by Reno.

Chequek.

Siska opened the door of the room and entered. He was quite surprised when he saw all the photos in the room there was no one.

" Where are all the photos? Did Mas Reno get rid of all those photos? " siska said wondering in her heart.

Then Siska turned to Reno who was asleep on the bed with a face that looked very tired. Siska approached Reno to wake her up because they had to have breakfast and Reno had already started to enter the office after a week of leave.

" Mas Reno, let's get up" said Siska shaking Reno's arm.

Reno opened her eyes and rose from her sleeping position.

" Mad, hurry up and get ready. Nadia and Arisa were waiting for Mas for breakfast. Mas has also started to enter the office today "said Siska flat.

As Siska turned around and was about to walk out of the room, Reno suddenly hugged her from behind. Siska was very surprised to get a hug from Reno.

" I'm sorry about you. Again without me realizing I've hurt your heart " said Reno felt very guilty.

" It has been, Mas. I should have known from the beginning that you love Anisa very much and won't be able to love me" Siska said trying to escape from Reno's embrace but Reno further tightened his embrace.

" No, Deck Siska. I love you too. I completely forgot to get rid of all that because it was too busy to take care of our wedding and my work at the office. I'm really sorry "Reno replied.

Siska wept shedding her tears and Reno realized that. Reno flipped over Siska's body so that Siska faced her.

" I beg you not to cry. My heart aches to see your tears" Reno said, wiping away Siska's tears.

Reno kissed Siska's forehead gently and for quite a while then hugged Siska's body.

" I'm sorry, honey. I've gotten rid of all that and I beg you to stay in this room the same as me" Reno said after letting go of his embrace.

" Sorry, please give me two or three days to decide whether to stay in this room with you or not. Honestly my heart hurts so much to see all your wonderful memories are the same Anisa Ma'am. For that as long as I haven't decided let me stay in another room and sleep apart the same you "answered Siska erasing the remains of her tears.

" Hurry out. Nadia was looking for you ", Siska told Reno.

After that Siska went straight out of the room and towards the dining table.
