24. Slander

Reno and Siska broke into the house after the conversation between the two of them was over. By the time they entered the living room there were already two middle-aged couples that Siska did not know.

" Abi, Ummi" Reno said as she watched her parents-in-law sitting on the sofa in the living room with Nadia and Arisa.

Reno immediately approached her two in-laws followed by Siska behind her.

" Abi Assalamualaikum, Ummi" said Reno kissing the hands of her parents-in-law.

" Walaikumsalam" replied Abi Umar and Umm Fatimah.

" Abi and Ummi when will they come? Why not tell me? Can Reno pick up "ask Reno to Abi Umar and Umm Fatimah.

Reno was already sitting on a single sofa not far from Abi Umar and Umm Fatimah.

" We just came. We deliberately came not to tell you so that you do not have to bother to pick up Abi and Ummi. We came to meet with our grandson "Abi Umar answered rubbing Nadia's head sitting between himself and his wife.

" Rino doesn't feel bothered anyway, Abi" said Reno because she would pick up her in-laws if they asked.

Ummi Fatimah's attention was distracted when she saw a girl standing not far from them. Siska who was noticed by Umm Fatimah also smiled at Umm Fatimah in her honor.

" Who is that? Ummi had never seen him "asked Umm Fatimah to them.

" That's Siska, Grandma. Siska's sister is Nadia's friend and will be Nadia's parent "answer Nadia looks very happy to introduce Siska to her Grandma.

Reno and Siska were shocked by Nadia's words. Reno felt bad because he had not talked about this to Abi Umar and Umm Fatimah.

" Thank God, Grandma was so happy to hear that. Finally your father is looking for you a mother" said Umm Fatimah happily.

Abi Umar smiled. Because all this time he had introduced some women to Reno but Reno refused to marry. Although Siska was still not hijab but Abi Umar could see that Siska was a good girl.

Umm Fatimah stood up from her seat and approached Siska. Umm Fatimah led Siska to sit beside her.

" What's your name, son? " ask Umi Fatimah at Siska.

" Siska, Ma'am" Siska replied awkwardly.

" Call me Ummi. I am Ummi Fatimah and that is my husband, you can call Abi Umar. We are in-laws of Nak Reno, parents of Nadia's mother" said Umi Fatimah.

Siska nodded her head and smiled at Abi Umar.

They also chatted casually there even though Siska just kept quiet because it felt awkward to be in their midst, let alone the family of the late wife Reno is a religious family different from her. In his heart he felt ashamed and unworthy of being with Reno.

Shortly afterwards, a loud noise came from outside. They all came out to see what was going on. Seen there are quite a number of residents and RT heads in the complex.

" Assalamualaikum" said Mr. RT.

" Walaikumsalam "answer them.

" I'm sorry what happened to Mr RT? Why so many people in front of my house? " ask Reno to the RT chairman.

" I'm sorry to have disturbed Mr. Reno's comfort and the family, but I have been told that there was an inappropriate act in this house between Mr. Reno and a girl " answer Mr. RT.

" Yes Mr. Reno, we heard Mr. Reno gathering with a girl in this house "added one of the residents.

" Athaghfirullahalazim" said Reno surprised and others.

" It must be the girl who committed adultery with Mr. Reno" said one mother showing Siska.

" Yes, I often he comes to this house. Surely they often commit adultery "plus other residents.

Siska was surprised and did not accept. He does not do what they say.

" Don't just say yes, ma'am" said Siska did not accept.

" Stranquil, Son. Ummi believes this is slander" said Umi Fatimah trying to calm Siska.

Siska also tried to calm down and not be provoked by the words of the mothers.

" Sir, Mother, all of this is not true. Me and this girl didn't do what you said. It's all slander" Reno explained.

" Anyways, we don't want to know. You must leave here so that this complex is not polluted by your actions "the mothers said.

" Right "plus other citizens.

Meanwhile, a smiling woman saw the incident. That woman is Sarah. Sarah tells the citizens that Reno and Siska have committed adultery and hope that Siska is expelled and can not meet with Reino again. When Sarah wanted to go to Reno's house, she saw Siska who had gotten out of her car. He felt very jealous and angry. Sarah is eager to rid Siska of Reno's life.

Sarah was in the back row of those people.

" Enormally calm" said Mr. RT calming all its citizens.

" Mister Reno, I believe you will not do anything inappropriate here. But it would be better if you just marry the girl so that there is no more slander between you" said Mr. RT.

" That's right. You are married "said the other residents justify the words of Mr. RT.

Sarah who heard that was shocked. He did not expect Mr. RT to marry Siska.

" Why is it like this? " said Sarah in panic.

Siska is very agitated but Reno looks at her and says nothing will happen.

" Well, I will marry this girl" Reno said because of her intentions.

" Nah, that's dong" said another resident.

Sarah, who felt her plan had failed, went straight ahead.

" I can't, they can't get married. The girl should have been expelled and should not have met Mr. Reno again" Sarah said.

They were shocked when they heard Sarah's words.

" sarah? " said Reno surprised.

" So you spread slander huh? " ask Siska emotion looking at Sarah.

" Yes" answered Sarah staring at Siska.

Siska was getting emotional but Umi Fatimah tried to calm her down.

" Mister Reno don't marry her. She's not a good woman, just marry me" Sarah told Reno.

Reno looked at Sarah in disbelief. She did not expect Sarah to slander herself and Siska.

" I was unexpected and really disappointed Sarah. You are so defamatory of me and Siska" Reno told Sarah.

" I'm doing this because I love you Sir. I want to be your wife " Sarah replied.

" Now you're out of my house and don't ever see me and my family again" Reno said.

" No " answered Sarah.

Sarah wants to get closer to Reno but is immediately confronted by some residents and takes her away.

" Now, the problem is over and you are now disbanding from here" said Mr. RT disbanding all its citizens.

All the citizens who had gathered there immediately dispersed themselves.

" Mr. Reno, it's good that you keep marrying this girl so that at other times there will be no more slander" said Mr. RT to Reno.

" Yes sir "Reno replied.

After that Mr. RT was ready to go home. And they went back into the house.

" Right said Mr. RT, son. You better get married soon so that there is no slander in the future "Abi Umar told Reno and Siska.

" Yes Abi "Reno replied.

" Siska tomorrow Brother will see your father" Reno told Siska.

" Yes Bang" replied Siska.

There was no other choice for Siska other than to marry Reno especially after the incident. Siska said goodbye to go home because she has a lecture schedule during the day.
