15. Open the Heart

Reno opened her eyes and she saw a garden with beautiful flowers. He looked around but there was no one there, only he was alone.

" I where? " ask Reno to herself.

Suddenly he felt someone's hand pat him on the shoulder. He looked back and he was so surprised when he saw his late wife who was smiling sweetly at him.

" Anisha? " said Reno in disbelief.

" Yes" Anisa replied smilingly.

Reno immediately hugged Anisa so tightly and spilled all her longing for ten years.

" Is this really you, honey? " ask Reno still can't believe it.

Anisa smiled and nodded her head.

Then Anisa invites Reno to sit on a bench in the park. Reno continued to hold Anisa's hand and did not want to let go.

" Don't go stay with me again, honey. I love you so much "Reno told Anisa.

" You don't be like this, Mom. We're different, you have to move on with your life with our daughter " said Anisa trying to resuscitate Reno.

Anisa clasped Reno's hand and looked into Reno's eyes with a smile.

" I ask you to open your heart. Our daughter's father grew up without a mother's affection even though I know you're never lacking in affection, but she also needs a mother's love. Please give her the love of a mother that I cannot give our daughter" Anisa told Reno.

" No, Honey. We can raise our child together now "Reno replied shaking her head.

" We can't be with Mas anymore, we're different. I beg you, this is my last request. I want our daughter to grow up with a full family ", Anisa pleaded.

" I can't, dear " replied Reno who loved Anisa so much.

" I beg you, Mas. Please fill my request "Anisa told Reno.

Anisa stood up from her seat followed by Reno.

" Where are you going? " ask Reno to Anisa.

" I have to go back, Mom. I really hope you want to fulfill my last request "Anisa replied smiling.

" Anisa, don't stay with me" said Reno holding Anisa's hand.

Anisa smiled then let go of Reno's hand that was still holding her. Anisa keeps going away and removes from Reno's sight.

" Anisa" cried Reno calling his wife.

Reno woke up from her sleep with sweat already soaking her forehead.

" Athaghfirullah, it was just a dream" Reno rubbed his face.

Reno looked towards the wall clock which still showed two o'clock midnight. Reno got off the bed, looked at the nightstand and found the water in the glass was gone. Reno came out of the room and headed for the kitchen. Reno refilled the glass with water and drank it until half was left.

" I better pray tahajud before dawn" Reno said after drinking.

Reno went into the bathroom to get some ablution water and she performed tahajud prayers in her room.

" O Allah, the merciful Lord, the merciful. Forgive all the sins of the servant and give this servant strength. O Allah, is this your guidance by bringing the house of Anisa into the dream of the servant. Whether the servant should open the heart of the servant again. If it is indeed the best servant will seek to open the heart of the servant and give the mother back to the daughter of the servant. Please give the servant a spouse who will accept and love the daughter of the servant. Aamiin "said Reno in his prayer.

He felt calmer after praying and praying. Now he will try to open his heart. He also wants to fulfill the last request of his late wife so that Nadia can feel the affection of a mother.

" May this be the best for everyone. Arisa and Diki said, I can't be selfish. I have to think of Nadia who needs a mother's affection" Reno said because what matters to her is the princess.

Reno got up and picked up a Qur'an and began to read it while waiting for dawn.

Reno stopped reading the Qur'an when he heard the morning chastisement. He got up from a sitting position and put the Qur'an back into place. Reno comes out of her room to wake Nadia up for dawn prayers.

" Dad" said Nadia as she saw Reno enter her room.

" The Father's son is awake. Let's pray dawn before the time runs out" Reno told Nadia.

" Yes Well" replied Nadia rising from the bed.

Then Reno and Nadia went to the home mosque to perform congregational dawn prayers. There is also Arisa who has been wearing her face waiting for Reno and Nadia.

The sun is already showing its rays from the east. Reno is very neat in a suit to go to work. Reno came out of her room and headed towards the dining room.

" Today Nadia went to Grandpa's house with Grandma. You know, I have an important meeting today, but later in the afternoon I'll pick up Nadia right after it's over. Nadia also had to homeschool this afternoon "Reno told Nadia at the dinner table.

" Yes, " replied Nadia.

Reno will leave Nadia at her parents-in-law's house because she has to work today and Arisa also has to go to school. They also had not visited the parents' house from his late wife's house for a long time.

After finishing breakfast, Reno took Nadia to the house of Grandpa and Grandma who were in a boarding school in the outskirts of Jakarta.

Forty-five minutes later they arrived because the distance they traveled was quite far. Reno stopped her car in front of her parents-in-law's house and got off with Nadia.

" Assalamualaikum" said Reno and Nadia.

" Walaikumsalam" replied Reno's two in-laws.

The two Reno in-laws were relaxing on the porch.

Reno kisses the hands of her two in-laws followed by Nadia. Reno's mother-in-law immediately embraced Nadia because she had not seen her granddaughter for a long time.

" Grandmother's Grandson" said Umm Fatimah, Reno's mother-in-law.

" Let's go Reno, come in" said Abi Umar, Reno's father-in-law allowing them to enter the house.

" Yes Abi "Reno replied.

Reno entered the house along with Abi Umar and Umm Fatimah. They sat on the sofa in the living room.

" How are Abi and Umi? " ask Reno to her two in-laws.

" Thank God our good news" replied Abi Umar.

" How are you guys? And the state of Nadia? " ask Abi Umar.

" Thank God our good news is that Abi and Alhamdulillah are also improving Nadia's condition " replied Reno smiling.

" Thank God" said Abi Umar and Umm Fatimah.

Abi Umar and Umm Fatimah learned that Nadia was suffering from stage four cancer and they also always prayed that her grandson was given a cure.

" Abi, Ummi, Reno want to leave Nadia here for a while because at home there is no one to look after Nadia. Reno has to go to the office because there is an important meeting" Reno said.

" all right. Ummi even very happy if Ummi's grandson you entrust here "answered Umm Fatimah.

After that Reno immediately said goodbye to go to the office and he would pick Nadia back after lunch.
