36. Avoiding Reno

Reno had just arrived home when it was almost dark. He had just departed from his second home after Ashar prayers because Abi Umar invited him to go to the community events around the boarding school.

Reno went inside the house but the state of the house looked very quiet. Reno went straight to his room and cleaned his body because a few minutes later the azan magrib will reverberate.

Reno came out of the bathroom and smiled when she saw that her clothes had been prepared by Siska on the bed. Reno immediately put on the clothes and immediately went to the home mosque to perform congregational magrib prayers.

Reno entered the house mosque and there were already Siska and Nadia and Arisa who were waiting for him. They prayed magrib together with Reno who became a priest.

" Why did you stay at Grandpa's and Grandma's house so long? " asked Nadia as they came out of the mushola.

" So Grandpa invited Dad to go to a community event around the boarding school" Reno replied.

Then they went to the dinner table for dinner together. Siska brought rice and side dishes for Reno. She continues to do her duty and duty to serve her husband even though she is still reluctant to talk to Reno considering what she saw in Reno's room.

Siska brought rice and side dishes for Nadia and herself. They started eating dinner together quietly.

" Mother's cuisine is delicious, Dad" Nadia told Reno after they finished dinner.

" Yes dear, Mother's cooking is very good" replied Reno smiling.

He must admit that Siska cuisine is very good. Not far from Anisa's cooking.

After that, they went to the family room to watch television while waiting for the time. Siska and Arisa also join Reno and Siska after finishing cleaning the dinner table and washing dishes. Siska sat on the sofa which was quite far away from Reno.

Reno was quite astonished by the change in Siska's attitude. He felt Siska did not want to get close to him let alone Siska did not talk to him from he went home.

" Why Deck Siska? " ask Reno inwardly to herself.

When the time of Isya arrived they immediately took ablution water and performed congregational prayers in the mosque.

Siska will accompany Nadia to sleep in her room and maybe she will sleep together with Nadia tonight. He did not want to sleep with Reno just yet and avoided her for a while so that his heart would not feel so sick.

" I went to the room first. I want to learn to repeat daily tomorrow "part Arisa.

" Yes, whose spirit of learning" Siska told Arisa.

" Well, " answered Arisa.

After that, Arisa went straight to her room.

" Come, honey, let's go to your room. He said you were sleepy "siska told Nadia.

" Yes Mother " replied Nadia.

" Father, Nadia sleeps first" Nadia told Reno.

" Yes Dear. Do not forget to read the prayer before going to bed" said Reno remembering the princess.

" Yes, Dad" replied Nadia.

Siska and Nadia went to Nadia's room and left Reno still standing in her place.

" What's the same about Deck Siska? Why from earlier like avoiding me " said Reno confused.

He stared at Siska's back until Siska disappeared from behind Nadia's bedroom door.

Reno chose to return to the living room and watch television while waiting for Siska who was accompanying Nadia to sleep. He had to ask what happened so Siska changed her attitude.

In Nadia's room, Siska was enveloping Nadia's body with a blanket up to the chest and joined her body beside Nadia.

" Mother sleeps with Nadia, right tonight? " ask Nadia to Siska.

" Yes Dear. Mommy slept with Nadia tonight "answered Siska.

" Now Nadia read the prayer before going to bed" Siska reminded Nadia.

" Yes Mother " replied Nadia.

" Mother rubbed Nadia's head yes until Nadia slept "pinta Nadia on Siska.

" Yes dear " replied Siska.

Nadia began to close her eyes. Siska gently rubbed Nadia's head with hair that had begun to lengthen from before.

" I'm sorry Mas, for tonight and maybe the next night I can't sleep with you. Especially staying in a room that still has good memories of you as well as Anisa. I'm not strong Mas, my heart aches" Siska said in his heart.

Siska rubbed her tears that fell back and wet her cheeks and then rubbed Nadia's head back until Nadia really slept. Until without feeling he also fell asleep beside Nadia.

Reno who is still in front of the tv has started to sleepy. He saw that the clock had shown twelve o'clock at night but Siska had not yet come out of Nadia's room. Reno turned off the tv that was still on and decided to catch up with Siska who was in Nadia's room.

Tok to tok.

Reno knocked on Nadia's door several times and finally the door opened and displayed Siska there.

" What's up? " ask Siska flat.

Siska is still trying to avoid Reno.

" Why has it been so long in Nadia's room? Is Nadia not asleep? " ask Reno to Siska.

" Nadia was sleeping. Nadia asked me to sleep with her tonight " replied Siska.

Reno was a little surprised because Siska had just said that Nadia asked him to be accompanied to sleep by Siska.

" Yes, but I want to talk to you for a moment" Reno told his wife.

Siska steps out of Nadia's room and closes Nadia's door again. Siska went to the living room to talk to Reno.

" What do you want to say? " ask Siska to Reno.

Reno sat down beside Siska and pulled Siska's hand in her hand but Siska immediately pulled her back.

" Why did your attitude change after Mas returned? Are you angry that you've been home too long? " ask Reno because she feels Siska is different after she returns.

" I'm not mad at you, Mas "answered Siska coldly.

" Why then? Do you have a problem? Mas also feels you are trying to avoid Mas "ask Reno to Siska.

" I don't papa Mas and I don't have a problem " replied Siska.

" I went to Nadia's room again, Mom. I'm afraid Nadia will wake up and find me again "Siska told Reno.

" Have a good rest and good night, Mas" continued Siska.

Siska stood up from her sitting position and went straight to Nadia's room. Siska went into the bathroom and started crying there.

" You really don't realize what makes me behave like this, Mas" Siska said in her tears.

After feeling calm and able to control herself, Siska came out of the bathroom and joined Nadia and went to bed.
