21. Delivering Food

Siska was helping Mommy Amelia cook a meat stew in the kitchen for lunch because Daddy Smith asked for it. Siska arranged the plates and glasses on the dining table while waiting for the food to ripen.

" Later you anterine this meat stew for Leon in the hospital huh. She loves Mommy's meat stew" Mommy Amelia told Siska.

" Yes Mom" replied Siska.

When all the food was ripe, it coincided with Daddy Smith who had just arrived home.

" Well, that's delicious. Daddy can't wait to eat " said Daddy Smith after washing his hands.

Siska and Mommy Amelia join Daddy Smith who is sitting at the dinner table and they have lunch together.

After finishing lunch, Siska was immediately ready to deliver food to Leon in the hospital.

" Siska left first "siska pamit took the bushel that Mommy Amelia had prepared.

Siska kissed her parents' hands first before leaving.

" Yes, be careful on the road" said Mommy Amelia.

" Yes Mom" replied Siska.

" Assalamualaikum" said Siska.

" Guard" replied Daddy Smith.

Siska left with a bushel of meat stews prepared by Mommy Amelia.

" Siska changed after knowing Nak Reno and Nadia yes, Dad. She's changed for the better "Mommy Amelia told Daddy Smith.

Mommy Amelia has felt the change in her daughter since she got to know Reno and Nadia. The change was also a good change as Siska always prayed five times without her asking, the words she said were also softer and Siska now looked more introverted. Although Siska has not been hijab but now she always wears long clothes.

" Yes Mom, Daddy feels that too " Daddy Smith replied.

" When Siska gets married to Nak Reno, what about Dad? Mommy desperately wants Siska to be able to get her husband who can guide in a good direction like Reno "asked Mommy Amelia to Daddy Smith.

Mommy Amelia smiled. She was so happy to hear her husband's words. Mommy Amelia can see if Siska likes Reno even though Siska doesn't say it. Mommy Amelia was only afraid that Daddy Smith would ban them but now Mommy Amelia's fear is gone.

Meanwhile, Reno and Nadia are going to the hospital to visit Leon's wife who is still in a coma. It had been one week that Nadia had not seen him and now Nadia invited Reno to visit him.

Arriving at Leon's wife's doorstep. Reno knocked on the door.

Tok to tok.

Shortly afterwards, Leon opens the door to the treatment room.

" Assalamualaikum" said Reno and Nadia smiling.

" Guil" replied Leon.

" Let's go in "let Leon open that door wider.

Reno and Nadia entered the room. Leon caught up with them after closing the door again.

" Assalamualaikum, Brother Yeni" Nadia said after sitting in the chair next to the hospital bed occupied by Yeni, Leon's wife.

" Please sit down, Bang" Leon told Reno.

They sat on the sofa in the room.

" Why are you? Doldrums "ask Reno when she sees Leon's lethargic face.

" I dream of Yeni dying, Bang" replied Leon rubbing his face rough.

Then Leon also told what he had dreamed during the nap to Reno.

" But I'm grateful it was just a dream, Bang. I can't imagine Yeni leaving me forever" said Leon grateful because it wasn't real.

Reno patted Leon on the shoulder. " Don't think too much, the dream is a sleeping flower. You are now more prayer so that Yeni quickly realized. You don't give up. You see now Nadia has recovered from a disease that almost took her life. But see now Nadia can be active again, can be cheerful again. It can all happen "Reno told Leon.

" Yes Bang" replied Leon.

Leon leaves the room and leaves Yeni with them because Leon wants to pray dzuhur.

Shortly the sound of the door being knocked. Reno immediately stood up from her seat and saw who had come. Reno opened the door and saw Siska there.

" Assalamualaikum" said Siska.

Siska was quite surprised when she saw Reno opening the door for her.

" Walaikumsalam" Reno replied.

Reno opened the door wider and told Siska to come in. Siska approached Nadia and hugged her for a while and let Nadia tell Yeni again.

Siska sat on the same sofa as Reno but with a considerable distance after putting down the bushel she was carrying.

" Where's Leon, Bang? " ask Siska to Reno.

" Leon to the mosque to pray Dzuhur" Reno replied.

Siska nodded her head.

After that the atmosphere of silence created because Reno and Siska are both silent. Only Nadia's voice was telling Yeni.

Shortly afterwards, Leon entered the room after finishing the dzuhur prayer. Leon was quite surprised to see Siska who was there. Siska was grateful that Leon was quick to come so she did not feel awkward because Reno was also just silent.

" It is fortunate that this child came together" said Siska in his heart.

Leon walked over to Reno and Siska.

" Lo dateng, Sis" Leon told Siska.

" Yes, the cave anterin food for you from Mommy" replied Siska.

" When we have lunch together, Bang Reno and Nadia have not had lunch. You brought a lot, didn't you, Sis? " let Leon take them to lunch together.

" Yes, I bring a lot " replied Siska.

Siska called Nadia for lunch and they had lunch along with the food brought by Siska.
