“mas Hanif, I want us to be like we used to be. After breaking up from you I feel so lost.” Kiara. Trying to look as nice as possible for Hanif to sympathize with her.

Hanif was broken in his heart.

“what do you mean? aren't you married? Then why are you coming back to me?” hanif replied casually and looked at Kiara with an intimidating look.

Kiara jerks. She did not expect that Hanif knew of her wedding plans. Because his family was very close to the wedding.

“why? You think I don't know?” ask Hanif cynically.

“forgive me, I didn't mean to lie to you. But my parents kept forcing me to get married. They betrothed me to the man of her choice.” Kiara.

Hanif remained unmoved. His heart was completely closed to Kiara now.

“mas, please forgive me. I refused the match, I did not marry him. Because I only love you mas.” Kiara kept begging Hanif.

Hanif threw away his face, looking out the window with a blank look.There was not at all Kiara's name now in his mind, let alone in his heart.

The flashback

At Kiara's residence 9 months ago.

A meeting of her family is ongoing between Kiara's family and the groom's family. But the atmosphere was very strange, awkward, tense, stiff and there was no smile on the face of everyone present in it.
