I took a muhsaf for me to read while waiting for dawn to arrive 30 minutes I read the Qur'an, the sound of the Adhan in the mosque near my house..

The virtues of tahajud prayer
1. The Most Important Sunnah Prayer
Tahajud which is also called qiyamul lail or lail prayer is the main sunnah prayer. As the Prophet said:
أَفْضَلُ الصَّلَاةِ بَعْدَ الْفَرِيضَةِ قِيَامُ اللَّيْلِ
“Sholat the most afdhol after fardhu prayer is malam” (HR. An Nasa’i)
2. The Key to Heaven's Entry
Rasulullah shallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam said:
“Spread greetings, feed (those in need), connect the silaturrahim, and pray at night when others are sleeping; surely you will enter heaven safely.” (CHR. Tirmidhi)
3. Glory and Reign
In addition to gaining a noble position in the hereafter, those who pray tahajud will also gain a noble position in the world. God will give him glory and dignity.
وَاعْلَمْ أَنَّ شَرَفَ الْـمُؤْمِنِ قِيَامُهُ بِاللَّيْلِ
“And know that the glory and authority of a believer is in his evening prayer” (HR. Judge; hasan)
4. Calms Hearts
Al-‘Allamah Ibnul Qayyim rahimahullah said, “Try to reflect on how Allah returned the night prayers they did secretly with the recompense He hid for them, which is unknown to all souls. Also how God avenged their restlessness, fear and confusion on the bed upon waking up to perform the evening prayer with the pleasure of the soul in Heaven.” [Read Haadil Arwaah ilaa Bilaadil Afraah by Ibnul Qayyim (p. 278)].
5. Preserved by God from All Disasters
Messenger of Allah SAW, who said: “Whoever does the best tahajud prayer, and with a good order, then Allah SWT will give 9 kinds of glory: 5 kinds in the world and 4 kinds in the afterlife.”
As for the five virtues in the world that will be preserved by Allah SWT from all kinds of disasters, the sign of his obedience will be seen in his face, he said, will be loved by the servants of Allah who are good and loved by all humans, his tongue will be able to speak words that contain wisdom and will be made a wise person, namely given understanding in religion”.
6. Refuse Disease
Among the priorities of tahajud is to resist disease. With the permission of Allah, those who practice this sunnah prayer will be kept in good health and kept away from disease. This virtue has been medically proven.
7. Gaining the Good of the World and the Hereafter
The Prophet said: “Verily in the night there is a certain time, which if a Muslim pleads to Allah from the good of the world and the Hereafter at that time, then Allah will surely give to him, and it's in every night.” (Moslem HR).
The Prophet said: “Verily in the Torah it says, ‘Really Allah has given to those whose hulls are far from the bed what the eyes have never seen, unheard by the ear and never crossed the heart of man, that is what the Angel who is close to Allah and the Prophet whom He sent.’” (CHR. Al-Marwazi).
Thalhah ibn Mashraf said, “I heard when a man wakes up at night to perform the evening prayer, the Angel calls him, ‘Blessed are you because you have walked the path of the worshipers before you.’” Thalhah said again, “That night also served the night after to wake him up at the time where he woke up.” Thalhah said again, “Otherness descends from the sky into her hair cleavage and there is an assailant who exclaims, ‘If a person of dignity knew who he was exclaiming, , then he will not turn (of his merits).’” The Atsar is narrated by al-Aajuri in Fadhlu Qiyaamil Laili wat Tahajjud (p. 58).
8. Prayers Accrued
The person who prays the tahajud prayer then prays, God willing, his prayer is granted by Allah. Especially if he did it in the last third of the night.
