Episode 28's

The hospital decided it would take a week until Anita fully recovered and then continued outpatient and therapy for one month. During her hospital stay, Zahra made an effort to visit at least once every two days.

Today Zahra will visit Anita. When he was about to enter Anita's nursery, Anita's mother called him. Mama Anita had just returned from the cafeteria to buy some food.

“nak Zahra, here for a while.” mama Anita's word. Then they sat together in the waiting room not far from Anita's nursery.

“ada what aunt?” ask Zahra. He felt confusion and sadness from the gaze of his best friend's mother.

“what was Anita doing before this accident happened?” mama Anita asked quietly, almost whispering.

“knows Zahra is not aunty. Why aunt?”

“tante several times saw Anita crying while alone. And also often daydream. Aunty asked her, but Anita just shook her head and said just miss the campus and you. Zahra passed by, went in to see her best friend. In that 1st class room, he opened the door bit by bit, slowly so that Anita would not be disturbed. He looked at Anita first. And it turned out to be true what Anita's mom said. Anita is daydreaming, even now her cheeks are wet because tears flow nonstop.

“assalamu’alaikum.” greet Zahra slowly so that Anita is not surprised.

“wa’alaikumssalam” Anita replied with her raucous voice. His hand wiped the tears and smiled in a knot towards Zahra.

“I brought rice padang from your subscription place.” said Zahra while putting a pack of rice on the nightstand.

Zahra pushed the curtains so that sunlight could enter the room. The green scenery out there will also make Anita a little calm, although Zahra still does not know what is troubling Anita's mind. Then Zahra sat on the sofa in the room. He pulled out his phone. Like about to contact someone, while occasionally glancing towards Anita who is now back daydreaming. Zahra put her phone back on the table.

Silent.

“Nit..” call Zahra.

“hmm.” Anita simply cleared her throat without looking at Zahra. His gaze shot far through the bedroom window.

“Should I contact Hanif?” ask Zahra. He was just wondering if the man was bothering Anita's mind. For almost two weeks Zahra had no news of Anita and Hanif. Anita never told me.

Zahra's question managed to resuscitate Anita, she immediately turned to look at Zahra as she

hearing the name of the man called.

Now, Anita shook her head. Along with that his tears spilled again, getting louder.

“but why did you become like this? Is there a problem while I'm home?”

Anita wiped her tears. Then take the drinking water on the nightstand.

“i won't want to meet him.” Anita opened her voice finally after a long silence.

“iya, but why? What's the problem?”

“we are fine. I'm just scared. I think I'd have a hard time controlling myself if I had to meet him now.” Said Anita weakly.

Anita felt a deep longing. Every time he opened his eyes, the tears spilled. Somehow he felt that feeling when lying sick like now. Perhaps meeting Hanif would treat him, but only for a moment. After that, Anita just suffered more and more. Because that miss is not halal for him. So as much as possible Anita will hold him until he is lawful for her. That is if God wills.
