CHAPTER 81. Edward Beduka

Gabriel's phone rang. He picked up a foreign phone number that contacted him.

[Hallo, this is who]

[This is Mr Gabriel's number?]

[Yes. This who?]

[I'm the one who took the person who had this phone to the hospital. He and his wife had an accident. I took him to the nearest hospital]

[APAA]

Gabriel shock's. He hugged Edward very tightly. All the servants were confused. What really happened to the great master. That.

"Ferdinand gets the car ready" Gabriel said.

"Okay sir" Ferdinand replied.

"Ema. You take care of Edward. I'm going to the hospital" Gabriel said, trying hard for his favorite grandson.

"What's Grandpa?" ask little Edward.

"There's nothing Edward. Grandpa has a little business. You're at home with Aunt Ema huh" Gabriel hugs Edward and kisses the 8-year-old's head.

"What's up, sir. I was so scared" asked Auntie Ema.

"Pray all is well, Ema. I'm picking Edward up. Please take good care of him" Gabriel said.

Gabriel immediately went from the house along with Ferdinand towards the hospital.

"What's up, sir. Why are we in the hospital?" asked Ferdinand.

"Ben and Kate had an accident" Gabriel replied in tears.

"Oh God. May You save the lives of Mr. Ben and Mrs Kate" Ferdinand murmured.

After arriving at the hospital Gabriel immediately headed for the ER room. Gabriel asked the patient who had an accident. The nurse told me that the patient was in surgery because he was bleeding a lot.

Gabriel's headed for the operating room. In a hurry. He was eager to see his son and daughter-in-law safe.

The man who helped Ben and Kate immediately approached Gabriel when he heard Gabriel looking for the crash victim.

"Sorry sir, what sir did I call earlier?" said the middle-aged man.

"You helped my son?" ask Gabriel.

"I happen to be passing by sir. I do not know who hit the problem when I came the car was turned over" said the middle-aged man.

"Thank you Sir. My father brought my son here. Ferdinand, you please take care of this father. He's been helping Ben and Kate" Gabriel said.

"Good Sir. Come with me sir" Ferdinand slightly moved away from Gabriel.

Gabriel paced in front of the operating room. Operating lights off.the doctor and nurse one by one out.

they pushed 2 patients on top of the hospital bed. Gabriel was limp, as both of them were covered with white cloth.

"Are you his family?" ask doctor.

"Yes, doctor" Gabriel replied trembling.

Ferdinand immediately caught up with Gabriel after finishing with the middle-aged father's business earlier. Ferdinand also brought Ben and Kate's belongings.

"I'm sorry, sir. I've tried my best to save your children. They were late to bring it here. I'm sorry, I can't save Mr's children" the doctor said in a sad tone.

"Tidaaaaaaakkkk. That can't be the doctor. Ben and Kate couldn't have gone all-in. They still have kids at home. His son is waiting for them at home" Gabriel hysterissed.

Luckily Felix and Ramond came quickly. So Ferdinand couldn't help but catch Gabriel's limp body.

"Lift your body to the bench" Ferdinand said.

They took Gabriel to the nearest bench. Ben and Kate were taken to the morgue to be brought home.

After a little calm. Gabriel goes to the morgue to see if it's Ben and Kate, his son and daughter-in-law or not.

"Ben my son, wake up Ben. You can't sleep here, open your eyes, son. Let's go home, Edward's waiting for you to play Ben's ball" Gabriel keeps moving Ben's body while crying.

"Ben's awake. Don't leave papa Ben. If you knew it would be like this. Papa won't let you go with Kate" Ben said.

"Kate wake up, son. Edward's waiting for you, he won't sleep. He wants to sleep with you. Wake up and open your eyes" Gabriel could not hold back his tears and fell unconscious.

Ferdinand called Felix and Raymond inside. To lift Gabriel out. Ferdinand called Aunt Ema at home. Ferdinand told them that their Master and Madam were dead.

Immediately Aunt Ema hugged little Edward with tears. She could not help but cry, as she saw little Edward in her arms.

"Why is Auntie Ema crying? Who called Aunt Ema?" ask Edward.

"No Young Master. Aunt Ema's eyes were only exposed to dust" Aunt Ema wiped away her tears.

"Auntie why mom and dad haven't come home yet. I want to sleep with them" Edward said innocently.

"More soon you will be home Lord" Aunt Ema hugged Edward tightly.

"Why are the chairs and tables moved Auntie. Don't move that beloved flower vase Mama" said Edward.

"It's okay, sir, the vase is just kept so it doesn't break. Later if it breaks, the young master's mother will be angry" said Aunt Ema still hugging Edward.

Ambulance comes with 2 lifeless bodies of Ben and Kate. Two coffins were put into the house.

The waiter had prepared a new, very beautiful outfit for Kate as well as a very dashing outfit for Ben.

Gaabriel went in and looked for little Edward. Little Edward still does not know that his parents are dead.

"Edward's granddaughter" Gabriel won to embrace Edward.

"Grandpa why crying. Why is an ambulance coming. That's the crate for who Grandpa is. Who died?" edward said innocently.

Gabriel hugged little Edward. Now Edward's just his family. Gabriel has no one but Edward.

From now on, Gabriel must be strong for Edward, his beloved grandson as heir to the Eugenio family business empire.

"Papa and mama why haven't Grandpa come home" asked Edward relentlessly asking the whereabouts of his parents.

Two stretchers into the house, the officer brought to two of Edward's parents, who had already returned to the creator.

All the servants wept to welcome the arrival of his 2 masters who were known to be very kind and generous.

Edward still did not know the circumstances around him. The 8-year-old boy was still confused as to why everyone was crying except him.

Gabriel takes Edward to see Ben and Kate's body. Gabriel could not help but cry, he cried again when he saw his son and daughter-in-law closing their eyes forever.

"Mama, Papa why are you sleeping here. Let's sleep in the room. We sleep together, Edward wants to sleep with you" Edward hugged his dead mother's body.

"Mama. Why is my body so cold. Papa too, you're cold. Auntie Ema please get Mama and Papa a blanket, they're cold. Grandpa tell mama and papa to wake up, don't sleep here" said Edward innocently.

She had no idea that her mom and ¹father were dead.

"Mama, papa let's get up. Edward's waiting for you to come home. Edward wants to sleep with you" Edward moved his mother and father's body.

"Dear edward. Mom and Dad are asleep. Edward is sleeping. Tomorrow Edward has to take mom and dad to a new house" Gabriel said. Gabriel couldn't say that Edward's parents were dead.

"No Grandpa. If mom and dad sleep here, Edward will sleep here with them" Edward hugged his mom and dad in turn.

"Edward mama and papa have to change clothes first. Later Edward can see mom and dad again" said Gabriel.

After the ritual of dressing the body. Edward's parents were put in the coffin. Edward now understood why his parents did not move and his body was so cold. Because they died.

"Don't put your mom and dad in the crate. Mom and Dad didn't die, they just slept. Grandpa don't let them put mom and dad in huaa huaaaa's chest"Edward started crying.

Edward pulled up the clothes of the attendant and the waiter not to put his mom and dad in the coffin.

"Let go! Mom and Dad Edward are not dead. Mom and Dad just slept. Don't put them in the crate" Edward cried a mouthful.

Gabriel tried to calm little Edward down. He must endure his grief at the home of his son and daughter-in-law for the sake of his only grandson, Edward.

The 8-year-old boy lost both his parents at a very small age. Edward still desperately needs the love of his parents, now he has to lose the person he loves so much and must live alone with his grandfather.

"Mama, Papaa don't leave Edward. Papa must accompany Edward to huuaaaa huuaaaa ball" Edward beat up Gabriel who was holding him.

Wept, Edward fell asleep. Aunt Ema put Edward to bed. All the relatives come to Gabriel's house, to let Ben and Kate go one last time.

The morning of the funeral was prepared. Many close colleagues and relatives and distant relatives arrived. They also defended their condolences, because Edward's parents are famous for being very generous and like to help people who are in distress.

Edward stared at the coffins of his parents with a blank look. Edward could not cry anymore. The sadness that Edward experienced was deep.

He didn't even answer everyone's words. Edward just kept his eyes blank. Edward was carried by Gabriel to the cemetery.

Along the way Edward was silent. Even Gabriel spoke unanswered by Edward. Gabriel felt very hurt to see his grandson lose his spirit.

After the funeral was over, Edward sat between his parents. He didn't cry and he didn't talk. He only stayed silent in stroking the land where his parents were married.

1 Hour Edward sat between the tomb of his mother and father. He just kept quiet with a blank look. Gabriel took Edward home. Because everyone has broken up. There were only a few servants left, Gabriel and Edward.

"GO!! EDWARD HATES GRANDPA!!" Edward pushed Gabriel who tried to hug him.

"Great master" Ferdinand helped Gabriel wake up.

"Mom, Papa. Edward's coming with you" Edward scratched his mother's meal with his tiny hands.

"Young master, not Master" Raymond prevented Edward from scratching his mother's burial ground because it could injure her hand.

"let go. Let me go" Edward rebelled as Raymond drove Edward to the car.

Raymond had to take little Edward. Because he didn't want his young master to hurt himself

They all went back home. Before returning home Gabriel kisses Ben and Kate's headstone.

"Sleep you quietly. Papa will take good care of Edward. Please take care of us from above my children" Gabriel rubbed the whirlpool of the child and his son-in-law.

After that Gabriel left the tomb and got into the car with Edward. Edward fainted from crying too much and felt a deep sadness over the loss of his two masters.
