CHAPTERS 15. Take off Lily

"What's up with Mr. Edward. His attitude changed suddenly this morning. Mr. Edward doesn't talk to me either" Leon spoke to himself in his study.

"Leave it like that. Mr. Edward will talk to me again. Mr. Edward is like a broken hearted man" Leon twirled his chair. He found no answer to Edward's changing attitude.

tok ... tok .. tok ...

"Get in" said Edward from inside the room.

"Master" said Lily.

"Heeeemmm" replied Edward briefly.

Edward stared straight at the screen of his laptop. Edward was silent. He's not flinching at all.

Lily was a little afraid to talk. He was afraid that Edward would get even more angry. Seeing Edward's cold face like that made Lily, afraid to start the conversation.

"Sir, I brought Mr. Edward's medicine. Sir hasn't taken any medicine this morning either" Lily tried to speak as subtly as she could. So that Edward would not be angry.

"I'm not sick. So I don't need to take medicine" Edward said in a cold tone.

"But sir. Please take the medicine, Mr. Leon will be angry with me, because he can't keep Mr. Edward" Lily spoke with caution.

"If you're afraid of getting scolded by Leon, tell Leon to take the medicine, not me" Edward said slightly to Lily's heart.

"Bu-not so sir. I mean sa-"

"Stop!! Get out of my room. You no longer need to come to my apartment. Pack all your stuff" Edward stared coldly at Lily.

Edward's jealousy made him unable to think clearly. Edward made a decision when emotions overpowered him.

"Tu-sir what's my fault? I'm sorry if I've been wrong all this time. But please, don't fire me sir" Lily cupped her hands forward, her eyes already glazed over.

"I beg Mr. Edward, I need this job. For regular lectures and daily meals" Lily prostrated herself on the floor.

Coinciding with that. Leon enters Edward's room to discuss cooperation with Peter's company.

"Lily what are you doing? let's get up" Leon raised Lily's body to stand up.

"No, Mr. Leon, I will not stand before Mr. Edward abandons my dismissal" Lily said as she sobbed.

Edward stared coldly at Lily and Leon. Edward didn't flinch at all. Actually Edward was eager to hug Lily like that time, but he realized that she was not what Lily needed but Leon.

"Sir, what really happened? why did you fire Lily?" ask Leon.

Lily was still sitting on the floor crying. Because he doesn't want to be fired.

"I didn't fire Lily. I'm just saying, from now on Lily doesn't need to work to take care of me. I just told him to pack the things in my apartment. That's all I said to Lily" Edward spoke in a cold tone. The view leads to the laptop.

"That's the same as you fired Lily. If Lily no longer takes care of the master, then what does Lily do?" Leon is confused by Edward's attitude.

"He can work like he used to, first entered this company. Or you want, you can give him a better job, Leon" Edward still stared at the laptop screen.

"Lily you come into my room, we'll talk after I talk to Mr. Edward" Leon helps Lily stand up.

"Gentlemen, ma hikss hiks forgive me" Lily sobbed.

"Already Lily, now go to my room" Leon opened the door for Lily.

'Ciiihh lazy once I see their drama' Edward's inner self.

Leon closed the door. Then stand in front of Edward.

"This time I'm going to talk as a friend not as a partner, Edward" Leon spoke seriously in front of Edward.

"Why?" Edward looked coldly at Leon.

"What actually happened? why do you behave like a child Edward? Lily is young. He's still a kid yet to know the world's crimes against him" Leon tries to be wise.

"My relationship with Lily has nothing to do with you, Leon. Don't interfere" Edward's still cold-pitched.

"It doesn't seem like the right time to talk to you about Mr. Smiths. We'll talk when your heart starts to calm down" Leon said.

Leon leaves, before leaving, Leon reminds Edward to take the medicine Lily brought.

"Breng sek" Edward threw away the documents on his desk. He ruffled his hair and looked at the ceiling of his room.

His mind wandered far away. He's not focused on working. Edward took the car keys and exited the room.

While in Leon's room, Lily sobbed. He did not know what his mistake was, until it made Edward furious with him.

"Lily tell me, what exactly happened. Why is Mr Edward so angry with you?" ask Leon.

"I don't know sir. When I brought the medicine to Mr. Edward's room, Mr. Edward was silent. I kept reminding Mr. Edward to take medicine, Mr. Edward was immediately angry. Mr. Edward told me to pack my things. Mr. Edward also said that I no longer need to take care of Mr. Edward" Lily explained all in a sobbing cry.

"I understand, now stop crying. Stay here don't go anywhere" Leon wiped Lily's tears away.

Leon sat down on his desk chair. Leaving Lily sitting on the sofa drinking water.

'It looks like Mr. Edward's anger is not jealousy. Actually, Mr. Edward was angry because of what?' Leon.

"Lily I have to meet with a client. You okay I stay?" Leon sat down next to Lily.

"Yes Mr. Leon. I'm okay" Lily said.

Leon leaves Lily in his room.

"You told Leon there was a meeting with a client?" Leon asks Kimberly, Edward's secretary.

"Mr Edward was gone, sir. But Mr. Edward didn't tell me where Mr. Edward was going" Kimberly replied.

"Well, I'll tell Mr. Edward" Leon and leave from Kimberly's presence.

While Lily was still thinking about finding out what mistake he actually did until Edward was angry like that.

"I have to what now? What should I do to keep Mr. Edward from getting angry again. Mr. Edward has been kind to me, willing to accept me to work without a visa and allow me to go to college" Lily murmured.

"I have to apologize to Mr. Edward, maybe I did something wrong but I wasn't aware. Now I have to wait in Mr. Edward's room. Mr. Leon goes to meet a client means Mr. Edward is with Mr. Leon" Lily exits Leon's room.

Lily rolled her eyes, seeing Edward's room as messy as a ship breaking. Paper on the floor.

"What is this, why is Mr. Edward's room so messy. I'll clean it up. So that by the time Mr. Edward comes back it's clean"

Lily was picking up the papers that were scattered on the floor. On the spelled so neat. Lily chose one after another, sorted according to the writing on the map.

Because of Lily's tiredness asleep sitting in the CEO's chair while his hands are made void on the table.

Edward walked into his room while Lily was sleeping in her big chair. Seeing that the room was tidy, Edward headed to his desk.

Edward looked at Lily with his eyes in deep sleep. Edward tidied up Lily's hair covering her face behind her ears.

"I'm sorry Lily, I'm not mean to you, but I can't keep seeing you with me, while your heart is for someone else. Happy Lily, your choice is right. Leon's a good man. He won't hurt you, Leon will take care of you. I will immediately restore your rights. After that you you don't need any more work and money" Edward kissed Lily on the forehead.

Edward then left the room. He will not be able to control his feelings while continuing with Lily, while he knows that he is not Lily's choice.

When we love someone but we are not the choice, the best way is that we should step back and let the person we love be happy with the choice.
