CHAPTER 22. The Former

"Hi, how's Edward doing?" the woman greeted Edward who was standing at the door.

"Kylie" Edward walked towards his seat of greatness. He didn't care about Kylie greeting him. His gaze was cold, full of anger and resentment.

"I'm sorry Edward. I just left you. I had no choice, my father married me to the son of his business partner, because my father's company was almost bankrupt. I don't want my life to be hard on Edward" Kylie said shamelessly.

Edward looked at Kylie with hatred. Now there is no Kylie name. Kylie is dead.

"What's your purpose in coming here?" asked Edward in a cold tone. He didn't even want to see Kylie's face.

"I'm divorced from my husband. I want us to go back to what we used to be, Edward. I'm sure you've been loving me all along. The proof, until now you have not had a companion" said Kylie with confidence.

"Cuuihhhhh .. Don't ever dream of coming back to me. Because I've never picked up the trash I've thrown away. You have to remember Kylie, you left me instead of me leaving you, so don't be as if you're suffering the most" Edward stared intently at Kylie.

"Is your husband now broke until you leave him?" said Edward cynically.

"He cheated on me. He's having an affair with his secretary" Kylie said.

"I'm sorry to hear that, but I don't care about your life story. You and I have no relationship anymore. So if there's no more interest please leave my room now. The door was there" Edward pointed at the exit.

Hearing Edward being so cold to her, Kylie was unwilling to give up. He did not go out but instead approached Edward who was in his seat of greatness.

Edward scrunched his forehead. He was guessing what Kylie would do to him.

Kylie approached Edward and stood behind Edward's chair, rubbing Edward's chest from behind, placing his head on the chair so that his face was very close to Edward's.

The real Edward still can't forget Kylie, letting Kylie get close to him. Even Edward now refrains from kissing Kylie.

Edward hates Kylie, for leaving her without clarity. Deep down, she still expects Kylie to come back and asks for an explanation for why she just left.

"Ups Sorry. Am I interrupting your show?" asked Leon who suddenly entered without excuse. Kylie took off her hand on Edward's chest.

"Leon Haii. How are you?" Kylie says hello to Leon. Leon smiled at Kylie with a fake smile. Leon doesn't like it when Edward keeps his taste for a materialistic woman like Kylie.

"Good Kylie. When did you get back from France?" ask Leon. Leon once wanted to slap the face of a woman who had made him almost lose his best friend, Edward.

"What do you need to do here, Kylie? as far as I'm concerned you're married and living happily with your husband. You also travel around the world with your husband" Leon insinuates Kylie, so that Kylie leaves Edward's side.

"If you have no other business. You can get out of here. Because me and Mr. Edward are going to discuss an important matter" Leon displaces Kylie.

"You're evicting me Leon?" Kylie looks upset at Leon. He knows that Leon has never liked him since his relationship with Edward.

"Yes. If you are self-conscious go. Before I call Kimberly to drag you out of here" Leon shows Kylie his dislike.

The flashback

Before Edward's room. Leon goes to Kimberly's office to retrieve the file that the client entrusted to Kimberly.

"Sir Leon. That woman in Mr Edward's room is her boyfriend, isn't she? Ask Kimberly.

Leon did not know that Edward had a female guest. When Kimberly told Edward she had a guest. Leon went into his room first.

"There sir. Real pretty. But the woman did not mention her name. Just saying from the past. As soon as Mr. Leon" Kimberly explained to Leon.

'the past. Is she Kylie's Inner Leon.

After that Leon left Kimberly's room in a hurry. "I won't let the woman approach the young master anymore" muttered Leon directly into Edward's room.

Flashback Off

"I'm leaving first Edward. I'll be back" Kylie kissed Edward on the cheek and then blinked one eye at Edward.

Edward was silent. He doesn't know what he's supposed to do. While he still wants to be with Kylie, now that Kylie is back, Edward wants Kylie to leave.

Kylie leaves Edward and Leon, who look at her with hatred.

"The basis of the caterpillar" Leon said as Kimberly walked out of Edward's room.

"What did you do Edward. Haahh. You want to go back to that girl. The woman who made the great lord almost lost her only grandson to you. Women who have left young people who like to ride motorcycles for adult men who already have a lot of money. Put your brain on, Edward. I'm the first person who's gonna get in the way of your relationship" Leon's angry. He reminds Edward not to go back to Kylie.

"I remind you Edward. If you hurt Lily. I'll take Lily out of your life and I'll make sure you never see Lily again. Keep my words Edward" Leon tries to make Edward aware of his feelings for Lily.

"GUARD YOUR MOUTH LEON. I'M NOT GONNA LET YOU TOUCH LILY. IF YOU DO. I WILL BREAK BOTH YOUR HANDS. SO DON'T YOU EVER THREATEN ME LEON" Edward was emotional when Leon mentioned Lily's name. Edward doesn't care if he has to kill the guy who approached Lily.

Until now Edward has not been willing to admit in front of Leon that he is in love with Lily. With Edward's attitude towards Lily, Leon knows that Edward is actually in love with Lily.

Edward also did not want to say that actually, the man Lily likes is Leon. Edward is furious when Leon wants to take Lily from him. Because he didn't want to lose Lily and let them unite.

"Why are you angry Edward? Lily's not your boyfriend. He's just the clerk who takes care of your apartment. So be free if I want to get close to him, right?"Leon laughed mockingly at Edward. Even though Leon was joking, it turned out that he had awakened a sleeping space inside Edward.

Edward's anger was unstoppable. This time he was really angry. He clenched his hands on the desk. Then walk towards Leon.

Buughh

Edward hits Leon and grips Leon's shirt collar. Without preparation Leon fell to the floor. The corner of his lips was spitting out fresh blood.

Edward's punch is quite hard because Edward pocketed a black belt taekwondo. Edward doesn't seem to mess with his acaman to Leon.

Either because of jealousy because Leon liked Lily or another reason only Edward knows why to hit Leon. He even forgot that Leon was his best friend.

"I REMIND YOU, LEON. NEVER GO NEAR LILY!! IT'S JUST A WARNING TO YOU" Edward pulled Leon's collar off the floor.

Edward stood up and put his clothes together. "Come out I don't want to see your face today" Edward sat down on the couch with emotions still not quenched.

Leon suddenly gets a raw bogem from his Young Master. Instantly then smiled wryly. 'You're up to when you won't admit your feelings Young Master. Your irritation is too big. What I'm afraid of is that you'll be late in admitting your feelings for Lily when Lily's with another man. May you not be late, Mr. Leon.

Leon stood up and walked out of Edward's room. He didn't want to add to the mess again today. He did not expect that his jokes could make him get a raw bogem from his Young Master.
