CHAPTERS 30. Worrying

7 O'clock at Hotel Amaris. Edward is accompanied by Leon waiting for Peter and his Secretary at the VVIP venue. A special place to meet important people, only certain people can enter the place.

"Good night Mr. Edward sorry I'm late" Peter shook Edward Leon's hand.

"It doesn't matter Mr. Peter. Please sit down" Edward invited Peter and his secretary to sit down.

"I've read the letter of agreement you sent Mr. Peter. But before I agree to our contract of cooperation. I will make sure 1 thing with Mr. Peter" Edward said calmly.

"What is Mr Edward?" peter asked nervously. He was afraid that Edward would cancel their contract.

"I was waiting for someone. He will also join us" Edward drank the white wine he held.

"Leon, order Mr. Edward and his Secretary a drink" Edward said.

"Good Master" Leon called the maid with a red button on the wall near the entrance.

"Good night, Mr. Edward" said a handsome, young man who had just entered.

"Good night, Mr. Arthur" Edward stood shaking Arthur's hand. Arthur then turned to look at Peter.

"Hallo Mr. Peter. Long time no see. How are you doing?" Arthur shook Peter's hand. Peter stood up and shook Arthur's hand trembling.

"Do you know each other, Mr Arthur?" Edward pretended not to know. "Of course Mr. Edward. We had a collaboration together. Isn't that so Mr Peter?" Arthur emphasized the word cooperation.

Peter felt cornered. He had no idea that Arthur was working with Edward. All coincidences and initially unknown to Edward if Peter and Arthur ever work together.

After Arthur told me about his partnership with Peter. Edward has other plans, for Peter and for sure Arthur will be involved.

Tonight Edward will be a spectator. Tonight the lead role will be performed by Arthur. Edward's goal is to make Peter fail to cooperate with his company and take over the company now held by Peter. Edward wants to make Peter's company fall, then buy shares of the company at a cheap price.

"What is this, Mr Edward?" ask Peter. "I asked Mr. Arthur to join me, because Mr. Arthur and I were working together. I don't know if you know each other" Edward said, pretending to know nothing.

"Sir Edward, do you intend to cooperate with Mr Peter?" ask Arthur.

" You are right, Mr. Arthur. A few weeks ago, Mr. Peter sent a proposal of cooperation to my office. It seems quite interesting that I work with Senior, Mr. Arthur.

"Don't you know that Mr Peter often took a run for money partner who worked with him?" said Arthur.

"I don't know Mr. Arthur. Are you one of Mr Peter's partners?" ask Edward.

Peter, the subject of conversation, was silent. He was nervous about making sure his cooperation with Edward would fail. Because Edward would never want to cooperate with a company that cheats on his partners.

Actually Edward already knows the lunge Peter in the business world. Edward also knows that Peter is a lover of holes. But Edward had his own plans for Peter. So Edward took the risk so far.

"Mr Peter, where's my company money you brought running away? it's been 3 years that you've lost your debt. It just so happens that we meet here. Let's get our business done, Mr. Peter" Arthur said.

"It seems I have to go. Mr. Peter finish your business with Mr. Arthur first. Let's just re-schedule our meeting. If your affair with Mr. Arthur is over, you can contact me" Edward said.

"But Mr. Edward. What about our partnership?" peter panicked.

"Mr Peter, let's postpone our cooperation. I don't want to invest my money in a company that has cheated a lot of other companies. Then excuse me. Mr. Arthur, please settle your affairs with Mr. Peter. Excuse me Mr. Arthur, Mr. Peter" Edward stood up and shook hands with Arthur and Peter. Leon did the same thing as Edward.

Edward and Leon exit the VVIP room. The room left only Arthur, Peter and his secretary. There's actually Arthur's men hiding in the same room. But Peter doesn't know. Arthur was just in case Peter would harm him.

"Leon monitors Peter's company's stock. We'll buy it when Peter's company shares plummet. We have to buy it at the cheapest price" Edward felt happy now. Because the plan was just one step away from taking White's family company.

"Leon take me to the office" Edward ordered

"Master didn't come home?" ask Leon

After that you can go home. There's something I'm going to do" Edward said.

"Do I need to accompany Master" Leon volunteered to accompany his beloved boss.

"No, you go back, Leon. When does Grandpa come home from Dubai?" ask Edward.

"It looks like it's still 2 weeks, sir. Great sir, you met his old friend there" replied Leon.

"I'll see the old man when he gets back to Humburg" Edward misses Gabriel terribly. Gabriel is Edward's only family. After his parents died Edward had no more brothers.

She has 1 aunt from her mother's sister. But he lives in Belgium. Edward rarely met his aunt's family.

"Thank you Leon. You can go home" Edward got off Leon's car.

"Mister really doesn't want me to be with you?" Leon still hesitates to leave Edward at the office.

"Heeemmmm. Go home guard the house of grandpa" said Edward. Edward walked into his room. The atmosphere was very quiet, there was no readyapum except for a few guards who stood guard outside, occasionally going around into Edward's company office.

Leon leaves Edward alone in the office. Actually Leon wanted to accompany his boss, but he was afraid his boss was angry again like here. His face had only returned to handsome after a few days of plaster stamps at the end of his lips.

"Mr Edward. Why haven't you gone home, sir?" ask the security guard who happened to be traveling around the office. Checking the office security.

"Yes. There's work I have to do in the office" Edward entered the CEO's office.

Actually work was Edward's reason for not coming home to the apartment. Tonight, Edward's gonna sleep in the office. She's not ready to meet Lily.

Lily was waiting for Edward to come home. Lily's head was already a bit light since she slept all day. It has made his head no longer dizzy, plus taking medicine from dr. Luis. Accelerating his recovery.

Lily repeatedly looked at the clock on the wall. Lily was so agitated. Edward usually comes home by 6. But now at 8 o'clock still not visible stem nose.

"Lily's awake. Lily" Aunt Ema woke Lily who was asleep on the lounge sofa. Lily opened her eyes, and the one who woke Lily was Auntie Ema. He thinks Edward.

"Aunt Ema" Lily rubbed her eyes. "Why are you sleeping here Lily. Let's move to your room" Auntie Ema pulled Lily's hand, to move.

"What time is bi? Is Mr Edward home yet?" Lily looked at the wall clock.

"Not Lily" replied Aunt Ema.

"It's 11 p.m. Why hasn't the Master come home yet?" muttered Lily.

Aunt Ema saw a look of anxiety from Lily's face. He was very worried about Edward, because he didn't come home.

You will know that it is love, not when you think of them all the time or want to be with them, but when you worry about them and you want their approval and happiness.
