CHAPTER 32. Lily is Missing

It's late in the afternoon, but Lily hasn't come home yet. Aunt Ema was very worried because until afternoon Lily had not come home.

Time shows at 5pm. Aunt Ema paced between the lounge and the dining room. "Where's Lily? her phone's off, too" Aunt Ema tried to call Lily.

Edward was contacted by Ema's aunt. Asking Lily, still in the office or not, made her riled up. Edward was not calm. Especially when she saw Lily crying when she came out of the office.

Edward wondered. Why Lily cried when she came out of her office. What is and why. The question entered repeatedly in his brain. She did not speak or do anything that made Lily cry.

All the way home Edward just looked out the window. He was still thinking about Lily's incident at the office this morning.

"Master's home" Leon stops in front of Edward's apartment building. Edward turned to Leon. "Thank you Leon" Edward patted Leon's shoulder from behind.

Edward got out of the car. While Leon was still wondering, what was with his arrogant boss. Not usually Edward patted Edward on the shoulder, let alone say thank you.

With a still wondering mind, Leon leaves Edward's apartment for the main house.

"Gosh I forgot, take Auntie Ema home" Leon finally turned around, back to Edward's apartment.

"Master's home" Aunt Ema picked up Edward's backpack. Edward sat on the sofa in the lounge.

"It's Master's drink" Aunt Ema gave Edward a glass of water. Edward drank it to the toilet, and placed it on the table.

"Lily's home Bi?" edward leaned his head against the sofa.

"Not yet Sir. I'm worried Lily's phone is off. I've called him many times but his phone is dead. It's already 6 pm Sir" Aunt Ema's face implied to Lily's concern.

"Did Lily tell Auntie where she went?" Edward was starting to panic. She came home, wondering why Lily cried when she left the office.

"No Sir. Lily just said she was going to the office to bring Mr. Edward breakfast. Lily was worried that Mr. Edward was late to eat" Aunt Ema said.

Edward scrunched his forehead. 'Why Lily worries about me isn't she herself still sick, she should focus on her recovery' Edward's inner self.

"I'll take a shower first. Auntie prepare dinner. Later if Lily comes home we eat together" said Edward.

"Good sir" Aunt Ema went to the kitchen and Edward went to her room, to take a bath. All day he was stressed thinking about the incident this morning.

Edward laid his body on the bed. "Where are you Lily? hurry home. Miss you. Even though I can't have your heart. At least I can look after you and see you" Edward murmured.

'If loving you is an illusion, then let me imagine forever Lily' Edward's inner self.

After Edward took a shower and changed his clothes. Edward's out of the room. She wished Lily had gone home and could see Lily's face.

"Leon you're here? haven't you gone home?" ask Edward. Edward was shocked when he saw Leon sitting sweetly in the lounge with Aunt Ema.

"Yes Sir. I forgot I had to go home with Aunt Ema, so I went back to pick up Auntie Ema. Says Aunt Ema Lily hasn't come home yet, sir? Leon explains why he's back.

"It's 7pm, but Lily hasn't come home yet. Where's lily?" Aunt Ema was very worried

"Leon do you know why Lily was crying?" ask Edward.

"Do not know sir. I just saw Lily, she was crying. I asked but she cried even more. I tried to calm him down. All of a sudden, sir kicked Ashley out. Just keep Lily going" Leon explains what really happened to Edward.

"Did Lily come home after Auntie called me?" Edward was getting anxious. She doesn't know who to ask if Lily's gone. Edward Lily had no friends or relatives.

"We wait for bi. Who knows if Lily's coming home soon" Edward tries to calm down and positive thinking that Lily's coming home.

"Lily is not well, sir. Plus last night he stayed up waiting for Mr. Home until he fell asleep on the sofa. I told Lily to sleep in the room, initially refused, after I gave an explanation why Master has not come home, Lily just wanted to sleep in the room. Very early in the morning Lily went to Master's room, to see if Mister had come home or not" Aunt Ema told her how worried Lily was about Edward.

"Master didn't go home Bi?" Leon is shocked when Aunt Ema tells him that Edward didn't come home last night.

"Is that true, sir?" Leon asked Edward. Edward just nodded. Edward said nothing.

"Why Sir? Where did you sleep last night?" Leon was worried. He felt guilty for leaving Edward alone in the office last night. He should not have complied with Edward's request when Edward told him to go home.

"Not to worry like that Leon. I've grown up, I can take care of myself" Edward said. Edward could not tell the story out of jealousy with Leon. The prestige remains number 1 for Edward.

"Let's eat. Later when Lily comes home, let Aunt Ema eat again" Edward invites Aunt Ema and Leon to dinner together.

Edward was not calm at dinner. His mind focused on Lily. Where's Lily and where's Lily. The question kept haunting Edward in his mind.

After finishing eating. They returned to the lounge with tea and snacks. But Edward's mind was not calm.

"Leon do you know, Lily's flat? I once told you to drive Lily there and pick up a shirt" Edward asked Leon.

"Yes Sir. I remember" replied Leon. "My earrings are there. We find Lily in her old flat" Edward takes the jacket in the room, and leaves with Leon.

"Aunt Ema's just at home. Who knows, Lily's coming home. Later when Lily comes home, call me Aunt Ema. We go first" Edward put on his jacket.

"Be careful Sir. Please bring Lily back, sir. Poor Lily, no one" Aunt Ema's eyes glazed over.

"definitely Bi. I'm gonna bring Lily back here. Aunt Ema please take care of the house" Edward went with Leon.

Edward's journey was very restless. Edward remembered everything Aunt Ema said, when she didn't come home. 'Why would you do that Lily? why is it that every time I want to avoid you, you attract me to always be with you. If it's like this I can't leave you' inner Edward.

If you find someone you love in your life, then keep that love. Love is not just something you feel, love is something you do.

Love is a condition in which the happiness of others is important to you.
