Love for Hana

CHAPTER 9

A few weeks have passed since the meeting of Maya and Hana. At first, Hana's life was fine. He lived his daily life quietly, until one time Hana received a package intended for him.

At first, he did not suspect the package. But how surprised he was when he opened the package. The package was a noisy pigeon carcass covered in blood.

On top of the pigeon carcass was a piece of paper that read a message of threat. “*Life you will never calm*”. Hana's hand shook as she read the message. Who could do this to him, he thought to himself.

*ting!*

Suddenly Hana's phone rang. There was a short message coming to his phone. He hastily opened his phone when he saw the name of the sender of the message listed on the phone screen. “Sasmaya”.

“*Where? Do you like my surprises? I will send it again.*” Hana reads the contents of Maya's message with mixed feelings. He didn't understand why Maya sent him these packages and messages.

But not there, the terror continues. Maya keeps sending him packages containing animal carcasses and threatening messages. The frustration covers Hana. He remains clueless as to what Maya meant by all of this, until he receives the last package from Maya that day.

As usual in the package is a paper containing a threat message. “Gue ingetin to lo ya Ashana Effendi Bramantyo, freelance Evan for me or I will do more than this.”

Hana could only be silent. He had not expected Maya to terrorize him like this because she wanted Evan so badly. The man he loved with all his heart. He thought he could now start his life in peace, but he was wrong.

Right now he was wondering\what he should do. I should have told Evan. But he didn't want to make Evan worry. And to be honest, he doesn't want Evan to know about his relationship with Maya. At least not in this way.

Hana has promised herself slowly she will tell the side of life she has been covering for a long time from Evan. It's just that Hana is still waiting for the right time. But it seems like Hana should start telling Evan this time. Because later this will also be related to Evan.

Hana retrieves her phone which she placed on the table after reading Maya's message, then searches for Evan's contact. He called Evan. Hana intends to invite Evan today to meet.

A few seconds later, Evan's voice was heard over the phone. After a while of talking, Hana hung up the phone and put down her phone. He hurried to meet Evan. Today Hana will tell Evan everything.

Evan walked down the stairs with a smile. He always smiled happily if he wanted to meet Hana. Evan greets Carissa and Ravi as he passes by the dining room. “Good morning everyone,” greet Evan with a big smile wrapped in a wave of hands by Carissa.

“Udah neatly yes, where are you going?” ask Ravi about the\-basics.

“Meet the heart,” replied Evan sumringah.

Like being hit by a big hammer, Evan's answer made Ravi's chest tight. Ravi forgets, Evan is Hana's lover, the girl he likes. Ravi tried to smile to hide her sadness.

Evan passed by after picking up a loaf of bread with his favorite pineapple jam. Before stepping his foot out of the house, a short message suddenly\ entered his phone. “*Maya*” name indicated on the contact of the sender of the message. “Ck! What else he wants,” muttered Evan annoyed.

Suddenly his feelings became unpleasant. Evan became very worried about Hana. He didn't want anything bad to happen to Hannah. For God's sake, Evan wasn't willing if Hana had to get hurt, let alone because of him. He immediately drove his motorcycle with high speed towards Hana's house.

Shortly after from a distance, Evan had seen Hana walking out of the doorway of his house while playing a cell phone. Evan's feeling a little relieved to see Hana was fine\-all.

But suddenly there was a black sedan car running at high speed from the opposite direction. The car was speeding towards Hana's house. Hana who is still busy with her phone is not aware of the arrival of the car.

Bruk!

The car snatched when Hana was right on the side of the road in front of the fence of his house. Hana fell unconscious. Evan who saw it immediately parked his motorcycle carelessly and immediately approached Hana.

“Han! Wake Hana! Hana, I'm here please wake up,” Evan kneels beside Hana while lifting his lover's body.

Fortunately there were some people around who rushed to help Evan. They immediately took Hana to the nearest hospital for help. While the sedan has disappeared somewhere.

Despite what happened beyond his control, all the way to the hospital Evan never stopped cursing himself. In fact, a short message from Maya so affects him. This time Hana was injured because of her.

After traveling for twenty-five minutes, they finally arrived at a hospital. Hana immediately got first aid. An upset Evan immediately called his parents. He doesn't know who else to contact, while Hana has no parents, at least that's what he knows.

Liam and Carissa immediately rushed towards the hospital as they got word from Evan. Like their own children who are injured, they are worried that they are not playing. They had promised Hana they would always be by her side when Hana needed help.

Don't ask how Ravi, once he gets word from his mother, he immediately drives his vehicle to the hospital. The worry he felt made him forget, Hana is his own sister's lover.

Liam, Carissa and Ravi arrive at the hospital at the same time. They walked towards Hana's outpatient room with half a run. Worried to see Hana's condition. Because when telling the state of Hana by phone to Liam, Evan's voice sounded very panicked.

“Evan, how's Hana?” carissa asked directly when she saw Evan standing in front of Hana's nursery. Evan did not answer, he then dropped himself to his mother's arms. Evan's a little sobbing.

“Already... already.this is not your fault, son. What matters is Hana's okay, right?” liam tried to calm Evan down.

Not long after that the doctor and nurse came out of Hana's ward. The doctor gave an explanation regarding Hana's condition. Hana had some injuries on her body. Fortunately, there were no internal injuries to Hana. Hana is only required to rest for two days in the hospital so that her condition can be monitored temporarily by a doctor.

After hearing the explanation from the doctor, they were able to breathe a bit of relief. Evan became calmer. Now a slow feeling of anger was possessing him. There was one name that was on his mind at the moment, Maya. Evan believes Maya was the person behind the incident. He did not understand why Maya got this long to Hana.

Evan picks up his cell phone and immediately contacts Maya. Moments later Evan connects with Hana on a phone call

“Halo Van, what's up?” greet Maya while picking up Evan's phone.

“Do not talk stale, May! Really good lo until make Hana wretched!” point out Evan without a stale base.

Maya who was on the other end of the phone connection was confused, why Evan accused her like that. He did intend to do something to Hana, but even compiled a plan Maya has not done. He just sent a threatening message to Hana and this time with Evan.

It seems like something happened to Hana, she thought Maya inwardly. Then he smiled. It seems like this time fate is being kind enough to help her. He did not have to dirty his own hands to harm Hana. Maya just needs to give the impression as if what happened to Hana did happen because of her.

“Oh about Hana. Scuffed a little is okay, Van,” replied Maya relaxed.

“Crazy lo! What do you want, huh?!” evan asked in anger.

“From the beginning I told you, didn't I want you, Van! How far will you go to survive and get Hana hurt, huh?! I'm not kidding, Van. Did you see for yourself what happened to Hana today? You want him to get hurt more than that?” Maya answers Evan's question with a note of emphasis. He would not waste the chance fate had created for him.

Evan did not reply to Maya's words. He immediately disconnected his phone. His face looks very frustrated. I don't know what to do, he can't think of anything.
