Destiny seems to be starting to play its part, slowly bringing together those who should be met. At that time there were only the two of them in Hana's nursery. Of course it wasn't intentional. Evan and Carissa are out buying necessities for Hana during her hospital stay, leaving Ravi asleep on the couch in Hana's ward. While Liam is taking care of the hospital administration for Hana.
Hana woke up after being unconscious for nearly four hours. He fell asleep for a long time due to the influence of the drugs given. Hana then looked at the infusion hose attached to her hand. Hana then remembered that she had just had an accident this morning.
Slowly Hana tried to get up and lift her body in order to lean back. Suddenly he felt his body could not control until he almost made him fall out of bed. Fortunately, there was someone who quickly caught his body.
Although Hana had not seen the person's face, but she was sure it must be Evan, where there might be someone other than Evan here she thought. Hana also looked. But how surprised he was when he found that person was not Evan, but Ravi. It turns out that Hana was not aware of the existence of Ravi who had been lying on the sofa on the opposite side of her bed.
Ravi tried to regulate the rhythm of the breath and also the look of his face to be as calm as possible. He didn't want Hana to realize how nervous she was right now. “You can't move much yet. Sleep again yes,” said Ravi while helping Hana back lying down.
Hana who was still half shocked just followed Ravi's instructions while being silent. Shortly thereafter Liam returned after finishing taking care of Hana's administration. “Loh Hana is awake. How do you feel, son? Haven't you? Does anyone hurt?” ask Liam to worry.
Hana did not have time to answer Liam's question, the sound of the door opening. From the door, Carissa and Evan enter the room. Immediately upon seeing Hana already opening her eyes Carissa immediately walked towards towards Hana and hugged her. Hana who was getting shocked was unable to say anything. But not with his face. He looked at them all in turn, filled with confusion.
Evan, knowing that his lover was confused by what he saw, slowly explained it to Hana. “Darling you must be surprised huh? Sorry I didn't exist when you realized. This is my parents and brother,” Evan explained to Hana while pointing towards Liam, Carissa and Ravi.
“Evan, you are the son of Om Liam and Aunt Carissa?” hana looked at Evan.
“You know my parents? How can?” now the confused Evan asked Hana.
“Udah-already, justin Hana rest first, later Mama leahin to you yes, Van,” said Carissa mediate.
“Let's all go out first, so Hana can rest easy,” Liam said as he pulled Evan's hand out.
Ravi is actually heavy leaving Hana walking slowly following the steps of her parents. He still wants to be around Hana, well even though he can't interact much with Hana . After all, Hana is her sister's lover.
...*****...
Liam and Carissa and Evan leave Hana's hospital room for the hospital garden, while Ravi chooses to go straight home on the grounds that he needs more sleep. But Carissa knew her eldest son was lying. He knew Ravi was starting to limit himself to not interacting much with Hana so that his feelings did not get bigger.
After looking for a place to sit around the park, they finally found a long chair at the end of the park. Liam invites Carissa and Evan to sit there. There was a shady tree behind the garden chair.
“Evan, what do you know about Hana?” ask Liam before he starts his story. Evan is confused about what to answer because honestly he already knows some of Hana's past stories through Maya. But he could not have mentioned it to his parents. Evan finally decided to lie.
“I don't know much about Hana's life. He's still a little closed to it to me, Pah,” Evan replied convincingly.
Evan then remembered the story of Maya at that time. Maya said that she had found her father crying sobbing while holding a photo in his hand. Maybe that's when he got word that his wife had gone home.
It feels like Evan told his father that Effendi still misses his family very much. At least that's what Evan knows according to Maya's story. But if Evan does that, he is worried that his parents will find out what Maya did to Hana and the problem will get bigger.
“Since the passing of Hana's mother, Papa and Mama have never met Hana again, until a few weeks ago. We met with Hana while visiting her mother's grave,” Liam said.
Evan fell silent then gave a small nod as if trying to permeate what his father had just told him. It turned out to be true what Maya had told me back then. Even from Liam's story, Hana's life is much more painful according to Evan. He had to part with his father when he was five years old and now he lives a family because his mother has gone home.
“Evan, you really love Hana?” ask Carissa softly. Evan looked at his mother and nodded weakly. Although to be honest, he currently does not know what he feels about Hana after hearing the story from his father. Stiffened in his heart the worry whether he was able to accompany Hana through all the problems in the future. It's all too complicated he thinks.
Evan was confused as to what he should do after this. He was very worried about Hana's condition, but it felt like he could not go any further. Evan could only take a deep breath trying to calm his mind and heart.
“Van, Mama and Papa won't force anything on you. For Mama and Papa, your happiness and your brother is more important than anything. This is your life, which is living hard times, you must be alone. Mom and Dad can only wish you the best. You just have to remember this always, Van, behind all the decisions you make, there are responsibilities and risks in it. Able or not you live, only you can answer it,” Carissa said while holding Evan's hand.
Liam now moved from his seat and invited Carissa to come home. They leave Evan still stuck with his own thoughts. They knew that Evan needed time to accept everything they had said before.
Evan rubbed his face slowly, he felt very tired and needed a rest immediately. He walked to Hana's ward. Evan remembered there was a sofa he could use to lie on in the room.
But how surprised he was when he found the room was empty. There's no one there. Evan repeatedly called out Hana's name, in case it turned out that Hana was in the bathroom. Niente. There's no answer. There was only a small piece of paper on the bed that Hana had used.
“I'm sorry Evano. And thank you for everything. I pamit.” He knows the handwriting very well. It's Hana's writing.
