Love for Hana

CHAPTER 24

It has been a month since the incident that happened to Maya on the night of the reunion event that she attended with Evan. His mental state had begun to improve, although his mind remained shadowed by bad things that he did not even know whether it was really happening to him or not.

But if given the condition when Maya woke up that morning, it is likely that bad things did happen to her. Maya becomes very quiet and daydreaming often. He was even more often alone in the room. It made Melissa and even Effendi worried.

No one knows the cause of Maya's change, because she did not tell anyone. Only Evan and Linda are aware of the problems Maya is facing.

Maya is too embarrassed to tell this matter even to her own mother. He was also afraid that Effendi would hate him for this matter. His only hope right now was Evan.

Maya desperately hopes Evan keeps his promise to always be by her side and accompany her. If not, maybe he will be very desperate to move on. Maya considers herself to have nothing left.

Maya's phone reads, a short message came in. "May, you don't think of the weird\-weird huh. All love you." said Evan's message. Every day Evan sent Maya a message containing a sentence\-sentence like this. The\-messages Evan sent helped Maya's soul and mind recover.

Maya becomes very dependent on Evan. Part of him wanted to have Evan entirely for himself. But some others do not want to betray Hana's trust, especially now that Hana and her family's relationship has improved. Just wait for time, he and Hana will live on the same roof.

Maya tries to calm herself down. He must be able to try to recover with his own efforts without expecting help from Evan. Although this is once again a very big opportunity to get Evan, Maya still refuses to take advantage of this opportunity. He was too afraid of the karma that awaited him in the future.

"Gue must be able to recover. I can!" Maya cheers herself up. He then stood up and walked towards a closet located in the corner of his bedroom. The closet contained items\-old Maya that he no longer used.

Maya then took a photo album. He started to open each album. There are many pictures of him with his mother. One of them is a photo of him while on vacation with his mother in a family villa they used to be on the beach.

Maya looked at the photo with a smile. In the photo, he was laughing because he was very happy to play on the beach. Then an idea came to his head. Maya plans to visit the villa. Maybe he can calm himself down and feel better.

Maya walks out of her room to her mother's room. Maya knocks on Melissa's door a few times and asks, "Well, can I come in?"

"Let's go in, baby" replied Melissa from the room.

Maya opens the door to her mother's room and steps her foot in. Apparently Effendi still did not come home said his mother when Maya asked where the father was. Maya then sits on a sofa next to her mother's dresser.

"Well, I don't think we used to have a vacation at the beachside grandfather's villa?" ask Maya about her mother.

Melissa paused thinking for a moment back to recall the memories Maya had said. He then remembered a villa that his parents had before it was sold because no one had ever visited him.

"Remember darling. But the villa has been sold to your grandfather like it used to be," Melissa replied hesitantly\-doubtfully, "why? You wanna go there?"

"Yes, ask Papa Endi first, yes" replied Melissa. Right after that Effendi opened the room door.

"Would you like a vacation, May? You can just go later, so Papa who calls people\-people there will do everything right," said Effendi as he walked into the room. Apparently Effendi accidentally heard Maya's talk when she wanted to open the room door.

Maya smiled happily. This is what he does not want to lose from his life, the attention and loving treatment Effendi has given him all along. Things he didn't get from his own father.

Evan had been standing in front of Hana's house for about fifteen minutes. Not because Hana hasn't opened the door yet, Evan hasn't even knocked on Hana's door. Evan honestly hasn't been able to meet Hana. If it wasn't for Hana sending him a message many\ times, it probably wouldn't be standing in front of Hana's current door.

His mind is still divided on Maya's problems. Evan does not want to be with Hana again when he actually thinks about Maya's problem. Especially if he thought about his own words to Maya the other day, he really regretted giving hope to Maya.

Repeatedly Evan cursed himself because without a second thought said he would be responsible for Maya. He wanted to withdraw his words but he was afraid that Maya would be desperate to end his life.

"Damn! What exactly happened that night?!" evan's wrath in my heart. I want to feel like he screams at everything.

Evan undoes his intention to meet with Hana today, he plans to contact Hana by phone only. Hana also does not know if Evan will go to his house today.

"I'm sorry, Han. I don't want you to be affected because my mind is dizzy again, "inner Evan.

Evan turned his feet away from the door of Hana's house, but a familiar voice called out to him. Hana was already standing at the door staring at Evan's back.

"Why didn't you tell me you wanted to come here?" ask Hana confused.

"Dear, I don't think you exist. You see I knocked\-tap your door there's no answer" Evan replied lying.

Fortunately, Hannah believed what Evan said. He then let Evan into his house. They exchanged stories for about an hour. Hana told me everything she did in the past few days.

Hana tells that she has been accepted to work at a construction company and what she has done with her father a few days ago when Evan was not around.

"Van, you're okay\-well, right?" ask Hana worried. Hana could feel if anyone was interfering with Evan's mind. He knew that his lover was carrying a very heavy burden.

"I'm no good\-well, Han. I miss you" replied Evan. He did not lie this time. Evan does miss Hana too, but that's not why she's not okay\-all.
