Love for Hana

Love for Hana
CHAPTER 14

That afternoon they spent diving into each other's thoughts. There was no more talk after what Hana told Evan. Evan leaves Hana's house before the sun sets.

Before driving his bike, Evan sends a message to someone. He sent a message to Maya. Evan invites Maya to meet. He needs to know more about Hana's family matters.

Because Evan didn't want to take any wrong steps. And quite frankly, Evan is beginning to doubt his feelings for Hana. He does love Hana, but he does not feel sure he can be involved far in Hana's life.

Now Evan understands why Hana has been so closed about his life, it is not easy to live with such problems.

"*Okey, Van. You come to my house, right? I'll send you the location.*" a reply to a message from Maya that Evan has received. Of course Maya happily accepts Evan's invitation. He immediately took his motorbike to the location of the house that Maya had sent. Maya's house is in an elite housing complex in one of the capital's areas.

Evan has arrived at the housing location that Maya sent. Before passing through the gate of the housing Evan met a security guard who asked the purpose of his arrival, the security guard also asked Evan to show his identity card. After the security guard finished checking and Evan had told the purpose of his arrival, then Evan was welcome to enter the housing.

Soon after, Evan stopped in front of a minimalist luxury house with a touch of architect. The towering fence covers half the facade of the house. Evan pulls out his phone to call Maya. Shortly after he hung up the phone, a burly man walked out from behind the fence to let Evan in.

Evan was waiting for Maya's arrival when someone entered the living room. Apparently it was Effendi. He just got home from the office. Evan recognizes Effendi's likeness through a photo Maya once sent him. Evan then stood up and smiled politely at Effendi.

Effendi returned Evan's smile and intended to continue his steps towards his bedroom, but he stopped his steps immediately when he noticed Evan's face resembled someone he knew very well. "The face is\-ah Liam!" it's in the heart.

Effendi immediately walked back towards the direction of the living room to meet Evan. He hadn't seen his best friend in a long time. Effendi was eager to learn about Liam and Carissa.

"You're Liam's son, right?" asked Effendi hesitating\-doubt.

"yes Om. My name is Evan" replied Evan as he shook Effendi's hand. If only Hana was with him now, Hana would have been able to meet her father, the inner Evan. It's just that their circumstances aren't that simple.

"How's Papa doing with your mom? Healthy\-healthy is it?" asked Effendi enthusiastically.

"Alhamdulillah Papa as Mama healthy Om," Evan replied with a smile. To be honest, there was a lot that Evan wanted to ask and say, but he felt that he was not worthy to do that at the moment.

Effendi then took out a business card and wrote something behind it. He handed the card to Evan. "Evan, please give this to your Papa yes," Effendi smiled. Evan nodded and smiled at Effendi.

"Loh Papa's home yet?" asked Maya as she walked towards the living room.

Now he only lives alone with Evan in the guest room. Maya then sits on the sofa opposite the sofa where Evan is sitting. Evan was a little glued to look at Maya at that moment. Maya wore a little make\-up on her face and clamped half her long hair. The reflection of the night light made Maya's face look even more beautiful.

"What's up, Van? Why did\ suddenly want to meet?" ask Maya to relax. He didn't realize that Evan was watching him since then.

"Gue here wants to say good\-good. Please don't hurt Hana. This one you're doing is outrageous, May. Hana was in the hospital, "Evan tried to arrange her words as best she could. The purpose of his arrival is indeed to speak well\-well with Maya.

Maya was silent but her eyes were still staring at Evan. He then took a deep breath and leaned his body on the back of the chair, as if\-as if he was very tired.

"Darling are you the same Hana, Van? I became even more envious of Hana," said Maya smiling softly.

"Actually I'm not involved at all with what happened to Hana this time, Van. I did send a\-terror terror to Hana. But just get there. I won't be able to hurt Hana any further, Van," Maya continued.

"Then what you said back then\-" Evan looked at Maya in disbelief. He still suspects Maya just reasoned not to harm Hana.

"I'm just using the opportunity fate has for me, Van. No more," this time Maya spoke in a very serious tone. Maya realizes she can't go any further. Too much he bet if he really\wants to harm Hana.

Although Hana does not live with her father, Maya is convinced that her father is always watching over Hana. Then it would be very risky for him if he dared to harm Hana. His father will definitely not stay silent, moreover his father will definitely not forgive him. Not to mention if you have to deal with the law. There will be many parties involved and he can tarnish the good name of his family.

Evan was relieved to hear what Maya had to say. He can calm down now. Evan again asked Maya about Effendi's relationship with Hana. He wanted to know if there was a gap to be able to bring them together or even if there was a chance for Hana to be reunited with her father.

Maya only said what she knew. He hasn't heard anything else until now. All he knows is that Bramantyo is currently visiting the hospital often to check his health. After all Maya did never ask personal things to other members of their family.

Although Maya and Melissa are treated very well in the Bramantyo family, but still for Maya they have not been fully accepted. Maya still feels an unseen distance between herself and the rest of the family.

Evan and Maya had been talking for three hours. The atmosphere between them was no longer stiff, they exchanged stories casually. Even they are a little nostalgic about the\-time period when sitting on the middle school bench.

"May, let's be friends. I, Hana, and you. We can be best friends" Evan said before leaving Maya's house. Maya nodded in agreement. There was nothing wrong with what Evan said.
