CHAPTER 13

The days passed without feeling. Hana's condition had fully recovered as before. Hannah spends more time at home. There was a slight sense of trauma that he experienced when he wanted to set foot out of the house.

But maybe that's just the reason. Deep in his heart, he was actually avoiding Evan. Hana is actually very sad and also misses Evan. It's just that since what he saw the other day while still in the hospital, Hana became not know what to behave like to Evan.

"Where are you going, Han? I'm worried about you. You rarely reply to my messages, you are also very difficult to find. Why did you suddenly come home and not tell me?" evan asked worriedly.

Hana slowly let go of Evan's embrace, of course after she returned the hug of her lover. He could not deny that he missed Evan even though it was still difficult to forget what he saw and heard at that time.

During these few days of keeping her distance from Evan, Hana realizes that this is no one's fault, neither Evan nor himself. He hopes to continue to fight for his relationship with Evan. Hana is sure Evan will be willing to accompany her through all this, the proof is Evan still looking for her even though he tries to avoid.

"I'm sorry I worried you" replied Hana. He realized he was in a hurry when making a decision at that time. He should be able to talk about this openly with Evan.

"Don't repeat it again, yes" said Evan while pinching Hana's cheek. They both laughed together now.

Hana then invited Evan to sit on the bench of the park located in the outer corner of her house. The afternoon was clear, visible from a clear stretch of sky without any clouds covering. The weather is very fitting to enjoy date tea made by Bi Siti while talking lightly.

If usually Evan's stories can make Hana drugged, unfortunately this time Hana more daydreaming alone. Evan who realized that then ended the story in a doldrums.

"Han, what the hell are you doing? I was talking about it but you weren't so focused" asked Evan. This time he started to get a little upset with Hana's attitude like this.

"Van, what do you think is the definition of a perfect family?" ask Hana slowly. Evan remained silent. He felt guilty about being angry with Hannah. Now he saw Hana's face looked sad. Evan knows, there are things that are a burden on his lover's mind at this time.

"I know, Van. I overheard your conversation that day. I'm sorry yes, my family's problems must be very hard for you. I'm not gonna force you to stay, Van. Right now we're both at a crossroads, I know where I'm taking my steps. We can walk side by side or you choose your own path, I won't force you" Hana said smilingly.

Now he's resigned to whatever Evan answers. Hana doesn't want to force Evan to stay with her. He will continue his goal of starting a better life with or without Evan. Although deep in his heart, he did not want Evan to leave.

That afternoon Maya decides to spend time relaxing in her backyard. He was reading a magazine until his focus was diverted when he heard his father's voice he continued talking to someone.

Maya then closes the magazine and immediately searches for Effendi. He then finds Effendi talking to his confidant, Dani. Maya stepped foot towards the entrance of the house very slowly, then stood without a sound like a statue. He does not want the existence of those who are stealing to be known by Effendi and Dani.

"His son Liam is dating Hana? Ravi you mean?" ask Effendi to Dani.

"What did Liam and Carissa say to Evano?" Effendi again asked, he really wanted to know what happened on the day that Hana fainted.

Maya slowly makes her way to her room without being seen by Effendi and Dani. He hurried up the stairs and entered his room. After entering the room, Maya lays her body on the bedroom sofa under the window.

A short message went into Maya's phone. A smile returned to his face as soon as he saw the name of the sender of the message. It turns out from Evan and he wants to invite Maya to meet. Although she does not know what Evan meant to ask her to meet, Maya happily accepts the invitation.
