Love for Hana
CHAPTER 18

CHAPTER 18

Hana had been in the courtroom for over thirty minutes. Anindya who was in front of the courtroom was seen to be tense waiting for the results of the Hana thesis trial. He's been there since Hana entered the courtroom.

But Anindya's focus was a little disturbed because Hana's phone kept ringing since earlier. He then looked at Hana's phone screen. There was a call from an unknown number five times. Anindya was about to put back Hana's phone when the number came back to call her best friend's phone.

"Did I lift it? I think it's important" Anindya murmured.

Anindya picked up the phone. From across the phone came a soft voice from a woman. At first the woman thought she had been directly connected to Hana. However Anindya immediately explained Hana's current situation.

"Oh so yeah. Then can I ask for help? Please tell Hana to call me back at this number, son?" pinta the woman.

Anindya then disconnected the phone after promising to deliver the woman's message. Shortly after, Hana's courtroom door opened. Some of the teachers walked out. Anindya waited for her best friend anxiously.

Hana walked out of the room with a face full of sweat. Anindya was surprised to see the face of her best friend. Hana looks very tired and limp. Anindya immediately approached Hana but her steps were stopped by Hana.

It takes time to breathe the air around it. Slowly he caught his breath. Hana then took out a handkerchief from the pocket of the suit she was wearing and wiped the sweat that filled her face.

Only after he calmed down did he look at Anindya who had been waiting for him. Hana steps her foot towards Anindya, hugging her close friend and whispering something into Anindya's ear, "Gue passed."

Instantly Anindya immediately shouted in excitement. He thought something bad happened while Hana was in court. It turns out that Hana is only very tense waiting for the value given by the lecturers in the past.

Shortly after that the other door of the room around them was open, it turned out that was the door of Evan's courtroom. Unlike Hana, Evan's face was filled with smiles as he stepped out of the room. It clearly indicates that he also graduated.

Just a few minutes later, Maya's courtroom door opened. The lecturers walked out followed by Maya walking the last. Maya immediately sits limp in front of her courtroom. Now Hana, Evan and Anindya's eyes are on Maya, waiting for the happy news from their new friend.

Maya raises her thumb up signifying that she also passed the exam. Suddenly they were all cheering in joy. Now it is just waiting for the trial Anindya who has been scheduled tomorrow. But they were confident that Anindya could pass her exams smoothly.

While chatting with her friends\-friends, Hana's phone rang again. He then took his phone and looked at the number on his phone screen. Anindya who also realized Hana's phone rang then remembered the message from the woman who called Hana's phone earlier.

"God I forgot. Last time you had a hearing there was a call, he said you were asked to call back," Anindya said.

"You mean this number, Nin?" hana asked to show her phone that was ringing. Anindya replied with a nod of her head.

Hana then walked away from where her friend\-friends were standing so that she could take the call in peace. He picked up the phone before the ringing stopped. From the opposite direction of the phone line came the voice of a woman asking if Hana herself had received the call.

For a moment the woman on the other end of the phone fell silent, but soon she spoke again, "Hana, this is Oma. Oma wants to see you, Hana. Can you?"

...*****...

Hana was picking out the clothes she was going to wear. That afternoon he was going to meet the woman who called him. The woman who recognizes herself as Oma Hana. Hana's feelings become mixed, she is afraid that the meeting will not go smoothly, but she is also happy because she will meet other family members.

Hana had told this to Bi Siti, knowing that currently only Bi Siti's family was left for her. Bi Siti soothes Hana by saying all will be well\-all and that the woman definitely has no evil intent.

Hana finally finished getting ready\-prepared just as a knocking sound rang out from her living room door. Hana's heart suddenly\-suddenly thumped slightly. He's very nervous. Not long ago his father drove him home, though he was unconscious.

But today Hana will meet with other members of her family in a very conscious state. He walked to the front door of his living room. Behind the door was a person who wanted to see him, at least that was all he knew from the woman who called him.

Hana then took a deep breath, it always managed to calm her down if she was nervous. Slowly his hand touched the doorknob, hesitating\-doubt he opened the door. When the door was really\-open Hana could see there was a woman talking to a man\-man who was sitting in a wheelchair.

Both are no longer young. The lines on their faces are quite clear. The woman immediately turned around when she realized the door had opened. He and Hana stared at each other for a few seconds before the woman finally approached Hana and hugged her tightly.

"Oma misses you, Hana" said Alita. Her tears broke as she hugged Hana. He shed the longing that he had been yearning for nineteen years.

Hana was still digesting what was going on right now. He still did not know what to respond to the cries of the woman who was hugging him. Hana became more confused when she saw Bramantyo also crying.

Bi Siti who had been watching from inside the living room approached Hana and invited Alita and Bramantyo to enter the house, "Mother, Father, let's go first. Just talk inside, it's cold."

Alita let go of her embrace and turned to push her husband's wheelchair. The two of them followed Bi Siti into the house while Hana was still struggling with her head. He thought if remembered\-remember again, Alita's face was not foreign to him.

Hana immediately stepped her foot after entering the house. There were many things he wanted to ask the two men. It starts with what actually happened nineteen years ago.

The atmosphere of silence enveloped the living room of Hana's house. They were still fixated with their respective minds. Bramantyo became the first person to make a sound.

"Hana, I know by now I'm very late, but allow me to apologize from you. What happened to your life, it's all because of me. Because of the hardness of my heart, forgive me, Hana," said Bramantyo again sobbing.

Hana really can't bear to see it. He approached Bramantyo and knelt before him. He held the old man's hands gently and said, "Actually there are many things that Hana wants to ask and say. But after hearing the words of the Father, it felt like this was enough for Hana."

Bramantyo could not help but cry. He really\-sorry to have treated Hana and her mother badly. Even after living apart from her father for nineteen years because of her, Hana still forgave her deeds.

"If Hana's guess is not wrong, Father and Mother are Dad's parents, right? Which means oma and opa Hana right?" hana asked smilingly at Bramantyo and Alita, "thank you for coming. Please stay here this time."
