Love Blocks the Past
CHAPTER 40 ~ Pass ~
Ms. Dessery is chasing her daughter who ran upstairs. Seeing Celine so sad, Ms. Dessery was worried that her daughter would despair. As soon as she reached Celine's room, the mother was surprised to see Celine fumbling on the floor.
"What are you looking for, son? You looking for a knife? Want to end your life again? Want to leave us again?" the mother asked with tears.
Feeling sure the princess was looking for a cutter that had bounced from her hand. Luckily the mother took the initiative to get rid of all the sharp objects in her daughter's room. Now proven, Celine again wants to use the knife to end her life.
"Whatever your request is, Mama, son. We love you so much that we are willing to sacrifice for you. Following all your requests. Move to school, live abroad, whatever you can do. Now stay the same, ask for what you want, son, but don't leave us!" screams Dessery crying.
Celine was down on the floor, the girl sobbing. His mother's words made him realize. Celine thought only of her own grief without thinking about her mother's father's grief. Miss Dessery hugged her daughter.
Crying together with her daughter while hugging that shaking body. The mother's heart ached, the child she was born with great difficulty, life suffered. I don't think his favorite daughter is sad like that. Whatever he would do to allay his daughter's grief despite not knowing what caused her to suffer.
"You love Mikho or not. You choose Yodi or not. We're not gonna force you, son. Do whatever makes you happy. Mama doesn't care if the rest of the world hates your choices, blames your decisions. Mikho, Yodi, the Yodi family, people will lose you only a week, a month, a year, after which they will live a life like nothing ever happened. They'll forget you, but Mama, Papa, we'll never be able to forget our son for the rest of our lives. Living in endless regret. Feeling guilty can't help solve our daughter's problems on our own. We're gonna be useless parents. Please, think of us, son. If we're guilty, please forgive us, but don't punish us like this, son," Dessery said in tears.
Hearing that, Celine cried. The girl apologized for making her mother sad. Celine finally realized that she was so selfish. Just thinking about his own suffering. Unaware, choosing to leave in such a way would only leave suffering for his parents.
"It's up to you now, son. Whatever your choice, I hope it won't be a regret behind the day. All decisions are entirely in your hands. Do not hesitate and feel that your decision is wrong. Because we never know what's best for us. What you don't like right now may be something you'll be grateful for someday. We don't know what's gonna happen, son. We don't know if our choice is right or not, before we go through with it" Dessery explained.
Celine nodded, Miss Dessery asked her daughter to lie down on the bed. The mother doesn't care, Mikho and Yodi are still waiting downstairs. The middle-aged woman only wanted her daughter to rest and sleep to calm her heart and mind
Meanwhile Yodi, Mikho, Pak Yudhi, waited with a tense face. I just wish Celine was okay. Only Yodi occasionally turned her head with displeased eyes on Mikho.
"What else are you waiting for. Shouldn't you go?" ask Yodi to Mikho.
The man who had just stared upstairs turned to Yodi. Mikho turned his head and looked at Pak Yudhi with a regretful look. The man finally came out of the house with bowed steps.
Mikho felt regretful about his past decisions. Starting from leaving Celine alone in the inpatient room so that the girl planned to disappear abroad. Also regretting her decision to give up waiting for Celine and accept her proposed engagement to Tiara.
Mikho was crying in the car. Remembering the girl who was missed was in sight but she could not have it. So long bowed crying resting on his arms on the steering wheel of his car.
Mikho finally drove his car with his eyes still inundated. Look at the road with an empty look. Imagining the girl he loved with another man made him very frustrated.

Tiara realized that, since the incident at the restaurant her relationship with Mikho could not improve. Mikho was reluctant to talk to Tiara and the girl did not dare to open a conversation with the man. They never even met again.

The girl was crying but also laughing. Tiara felt like she was just an ordinary human being. Have jealousy that develops into envy. Feeling unable to become a hero who is willing to sacrifice his heart to see the man he loves find his true love.
Tiara could only silently stare at Mikho who was pensive all day. As long as no patient called him the man did not want to move from his stool on the rooftop. Even his health clinic was never visited again.
"This is their engagement invitation" Tiara said slowly.
The beautiful doctor placed Celine and Yodi's engagement card next to Mikho. The man shook his head, just kept staring straight ahead. His hollow feelings were not strong enough to mince words or sweetness at the Tiara.
"I'm sorry Mikho. Have they decided to get engaged since the incident at the restaurant?" ask Tiara. Mikho was still unmoved.
"I don't know why they took this invitation card to my house. Though they knew I had offended their daughter," Tiara continued as she looked at Mikho sitting beside her. Mikho remained unmoved.
"Maybe tell me that Celine won't be interrupting our engagement relationship again. They persuaded me to forgive their daughter who had disturbed our relationship" Tiara said softly and laughed.
The girl laughed with tears in her eyes. So loud was the sound of laughter as if hoping to relieve his heart. Miko finally turned to look at the girl.
"They invited me to apologize because their daughter had disrupted our relationship. What relation? What engagement? Only I want to get engaged here while you .. you keep Celine in your heart. The moment you met her you wanted to immediately let go of me," Tiara laughed again in tears.
"There should be no need to apologize and make small talk by sending an invitation. Because our engagement never existed. Just a symbol to let us be close friends. In your heart I was never your fiancee. Why should I protest? Why not accept and insult Celine? You love him, it's not his fault. Why should I be mad at him?" tiara asked sobbing even covering her face with both hands.
Mikho embraced Tiara's shoulders and slid down on her chest. Mikho felt Tiara had regretted his words. But it's all too late. Even though they regretted and canceled their engagement, it was meaningless.
Yodi and Celine's engagement cards have even reached their hands. Mikho can't do anything. All like blaming himself for bringing Tiara to the dinner. Now there is only sadness in their hearts. Regret for their twisted and always hindered love.
