Chapter 19 ~ Farewell ~

The line on the patient's monitor screen has long been flat. Paramedics are tired of trying. One of them shook his head and stopped his efforts. The other saw the watch in his hand. Another medic grabbed a blanket and shifted it to the head.

The three companions drooped to sit, Tiara sat down while the two men leaned against the wall of the intensive care room.

They had begged in their hearts, asking Celine not to leave. But the signs of his life have stopped. Mr. Yudhi and Ms. Dessery cried, lamenting.

They regretted knowing too late. Celine looks happy when picked up by her father. After lunch in the cafeteria with Mikho. The girl smiled while on her way in the car. Mr. Yudhi was also happy to see the cheerful look on his daughter's face.

At home, Celine hugged her mother.  Ask the middle-aged beautiful woman to make her favorite dishes. The mother was very happy, Celine who had never spoken since returning from a tour now asked for her favorite cuisine.

"Why Celine, Pa? How come you're suddenly so cheerful?" ask Dessery.

Since returning home from the tour, Celine's face never showed a happy look. The girl often daydreams, her food never ends. When asked Celine was silent. Both her parents were so sad that they even thought Celine had been sexually abused during the climb. 

There was no answer from the girl's mouth. Celine's voice was never heard from in that house, at school or anywhere else. But now Celine had spoken, asking with a smile.

"It turns out Celine is in love with Ma" Yudhi replied.

"Oh yeah? Where'd Papa know?" ask Dessery.

"Their pergoki's father is holding hands at school."

"really?" ask Dessery so happy.

"His daughter is very handsome and also very polite. Papa immediately likes him. He apologized for taking Celine to lunch, and when he came home he also asked for permission to take Celine home from school every day" Yudhi explained.

"really?" ask Dessery still can't believe it.

"Papa thought, he would not want Papa to always pick up Celine to interfere with their togetherness. Papa let it be, because he seems to be a good and polite child" continued Yudhi.

"So it seems, so we're wrong Pa, accusing Celine of having a problem with Tiara" Dessery said.

"If Papa doesn't know yet, it could be the sadness in Celine's heart because her friendship with Tiara is over but Mikho comes to comfort her. Celine smiled at Papa during Ma's trip. Papa thinks Celine is happy because they have been made," said Yudhi.

There are many possibilities that can happen. However, they did not care anymore, the important thing is that their daughter has been cheerful like before. Ms. Dessery also fulfilled her daughter's request. Cooking all of his daughter's favorite dishes. Ms. Dessery even remembered all her cooking that the beautiful girl had once praised.

While waiting for dinner they play family games, monopoly. Father and mother did not care to win or lose but when his daughter who had not been interested in playing for a long time, now invite them to play of course they are willing. So fun to play, the afternoon passed, when dinner arrived.

Celine cheered happily when she saw all her favorite dishes had been sitting on the table. The father and mother were happy to see Celine going around smelling the aroma of the cooking. Not one bit of sadness on his face. Mr. Yudhi and Ms. Dessery are very happy to have dinner with his daughter.

They thought Celine's happiness came from that. However, when asked the girl actually returned moody.

"Why baby? We agree, we are happy, you are getting older and you deserve to be in love. It had already risen to the third grade, soon seventeen years. It's worth falling in love" Dessery said.

Despite being supported like that, Celine remained moody. Seeing that his father spoke up.

"Udahlah Ma, it's up to Celine, which is important we allow. We do not limit him to like whom as long as he is happy then we will be happy. Come on baby take more of your favorite dishes that much," said Yudhi to divert the conversation.

Despite being curious about Mikho the two old men finally relented not talking about the man. Surprised, they keep it in their hearts. Still wondering what caused Celine to turn happy today. They thought Mikho was the reason, but it turns out that when talking about the man, Celine turned moody.

After dinner Celine asked to watch their movie collections. The films they used to watch when Celine was a child until her teens. From children's cartoons to family movies.

The night was getting late, Celine's father and mother were surprised that her daughter never stopped watching her favorite movies.

"You're not sleeping baby, it's past midnight, tomorrow you're going to school right," said Dessery as he rubbed his daughter's hair leaning against his chest.

"Celine didn't go to Ma's school" said the girl slowly. As forcefully as holding back the tear spheres appeared on his eyelids.

"Oh, school's off tomorrow?" ask Dessery again.

"No, only Celine wants a day off" the girl said.

"Oh well," replied Dessery.

I don't want to force my daughter anymore. They freed Celine from doing anything as long as it could make her happy. They continue to enjoy the movies that Celine wants to watch. Eventually, both parents fell asleep. Celine woke up from her mother's body that had been leaning back asleep on the sofa.

Celine sat on a small round sofa in front of her parents. His eyes glazed over looking at his parents. Alternately until the tears that could not be accommodated again fell on both cheeks.

Pa, Ma, I'm sorry Celine. I'm sorry that Celine can't make Mama and Papa happy. Please forgive Celine who always makes Papa and Mama worried. Celine who is always troublesome, who has always troubled you from childhood until now. Celine is unable, unable to repay the kindness of Mama and Papa. Celine can only love Mama and Papa. Can't reduce Papa and Mama's worry. Can't help but make Papa and Mama hard. Can't be no trouble. From now on Celine promises, will make Mama and Papa happy. No need to bother anymore. Not going to feel hard anymore, Celine's mind then slowly approached her father and mother.

Kissing both of their cheeks, Celine did not want the two to wake up, doing so gently while holding back her sobs. Celine got up from her seat and wiped her tears. Then he went upstairs, writing something with tears and tears that he could no longer hold back.

Celine sobbed after painstakingly holding back her cries as she smiled in front of the camera. Wept for a long time like a child who lost his mother. Celine decided to go into the bathroom which was finally found by her mother in a state of body that had been leaned back and hands that dangled out of the bathtub drip drop by drop of fresh blood.
