CHAPTER 38 ~ Rejected ~

Ms. Dessery walked into Celine's room with a cheerful face, intent on wanting to surprise her daughter. It was true, Celine was so shocked that she immediately stood up from her seat at the side of the bed. Celine's shock was not only from surprise but because of her intentions that her parents should not have known.

Reflek the girl took off the cutter in her hand so that it bounced to the floor of the room. The girl stood up with a heavy breath and a deathly pale face. Ms. Dessery immediately came over, smiling as if unaware of her daughter's intentions.

The mother just wanted to let you know that Celine's father came home to bring her favorite food.

"His engagement insulted Celine in front of the crowd and she defended her fiance until a fight broke out on the restaurant doorstep. Pa, Ma if you want to know who is causing Celine's grief right now, she's the one, " Yodi said loudly while pointing at Mikho.

Mikho looked at Celine's face with teary eyes. I tried many times to see the girl but Celine never wanted to see her. Mikho wanted to explain his regret over the incident, both at the restaurant and at home. However, Celine never wanted to see him.

"Micho?" ask Dessery.

The mother asked Mikho as if he did not believe Yodi's accusation. Mikho was a person he knew loved his daughter very much. Grieving as Celine is critical, take care of the girl wholeheartedly during her treatment. Ms. Dessery and Mr. Yudhi could hardly believe Yodi's words.

"Tante, this isn't what Aunt thinks, I–"

"At first we were very happy to see your sincerity loving our daughter to propose to her, but if this is the case. We can't take Celine off to you, Mikho. We assume you never made your proposal to Celine. It's for your own good, son, you can't be an irresponsible man" Yudhi said.

In the hearts of both parents Celine was regretting what happened. They loved Micho, happy that Mikho still loved their daughter, and so their affection for Mikho was realized by refusing the man's request. Advising Mikho not to make a wrong decision.

Miko looked towards Celine. Mikho was not ashamed at the rejection. Because she was sure Celine knew exactly what she felt like towards Celine as well as towards her fiance.

However, in that place, in front of everyone, Mikho could not declare that he did not love his fiancee. All of that would only make Tiara look so pitiful. Being engaged to someone who doesn't love her.

Celine herself did not want Mikho to reveal that either. Because for Celine it would be very demeaning to Tiara, her dear friend. Mikho looked at the old girl with teary eyes. As if it was his last chance to stare at the girl he loved.

As well as Celine, the girl regretted letting the man have any hope of being with her. But he knew, he realized. Celine herself would not allow Mikho to leave Tiara, but her heart that loved Mikho so much was unable to resist the expression of the man's affection that it was still willing to accept hugs and kisses from Mikho.

"I'm sorry" said Celine slowly, feeling guilty for the man.

Recalling the beginning of their meeting at the clinic, Celine welcomes Mikho's embrace and kiss. She is dating Yodi. Until when she finds out that Mikho is engaged to Tiara, Celine still wants to receive the man's kiss.

Celine felt guilty for giving the man hope so that Mikho ended up drifting away in the delusion of being able to be with her so that he ended up ignoring Tiara's feelings. Celine didn't want to hurt Tiara, but Celine couldn't resist Mikho. Because he himself loved Mikho very much.
