Little Bride Alvaro

Little Bride Alvaro
99. Stay Separate

"So, your marriage was just a charade?" The first question that came from the man's lips made Azlina lower her head. The statement is true, but it is also not true. He was confused as to what to answer.

It is different with Alvaro. Men are much calmer than Azlina. He straightened his head, staring at the in-laws who were introgating him.

"To be more precise we just realized that we really love each other. We just realized that this marriage is a gift that God has given us. And of course we'll fight to keep this marriage no matter what."

Mr. Samsul sighed, turning to the wife who was always loyal to accompany. The woman's hand held the husband's hand, giving him the strength to face everything patiently.

"Give Azlina a comfortable home, then you can take her again. For now, you better stay in each other's homes."

The words left Alvaro dumbfounded. How could he live apart from Azlina? So the man nodded disapprovingly.

"I'm going to buy an apartment for where we live, sir. Or I can buy a new house for Azlina to live in, but I can't if I stay apart with her."

Mr. Samsul still showed a tense look on his face, but tried to publish a thin smile on his lips while nodding his head. "Not that kind of house you mean. Home is not just a place to shelter from the heat and rain, not just a shelter from the cold of the night. Home is where we live, socializing with all the members in it. And that house is family."

Mr. Samsul paused his sentence for a moment, then looked straight at Alvaro. "If you really love your son, prove it! Pursue your parents' blessing to receive Azlina back. I don't want Azlina to shed any more tears because of the heartache of the treatment she's been receiving."

Alvaro realized what his father-in-law said was true. Before Almeera's troubles came into her household, all seemed calm and happy. And what is happening right now is also because of his mistake. He gives a gap for outsiders to harass the integrity of his household and Azlina as a victim. Azlina and her mother's relationship can no longer be as it used to be.

No, it can't be like before. However, Mama Rani did not understand what really happened. He had to straighten out the matter and start a new life with his wife.

"So, are you capable of that?"

In earnest, the man nodded. The look in his eyes exuded a real seriousness. "Yes, I'll do it. I was sure I could get my parents' blessing and bring Azlina back home who would welcome her with great joy."

"Good!" Mr. Samsul reviewed a smile, then continued his sentence, "Start tonight, you'd better go back to your house. Let Azlina sleep in my father's house."

"This is to prove your seriousness in straightening up the matter. I want you to be together, but with the finished problem straightened out so Azlina doesn't experience the same thing a second time." The middle-aged man sighed later, acting calm and full of authority. "You can go home now!"

There is no other reason than to agree. Although it was difficult to part, but he would show the in-laws that he was really serious with Azlina. He would settle the matter as soon as possible and bring Azlina back in his arms.

"Okay, I agree. But, I'd like to talk to Azlina a few things before we part ways."

Azlina just looked down, not daring to look at her parents. Although there was a sense of unwillingness if Alvaro was far away from him, but there was nothing he could do but agree. As soon as Alvaro's hand clasped his hand, he looked up. Their eyes flashed to each other in a few seconds. Then, the man smiled at him making Azlina's heart even more painful.

"I'm going to take Brother to the front!" azlina said to her parents.

"Go!"

After hearing Mr. Samsul's words, Alvaro immediately took Azlina out of the room, slightly attracting the wife to say goodbye while they were.

Passing through the hospital corridor, they got into the elevator to get down to the bottom floor. As soon as the elevator door closed, Alvaro immediately hugged the body, clutching it.

"Sister!"

"Hemmm, I'm definitely gonna miss you. But, I promise I'll bring you back soon."

Azlina could only nod in Alvaro's arms. He closed his eyes, warming the embrace so warmly, as if it was their last embrace. Unwillingness to part is huge, but he must be able to restrain himself according to his parents' orders not to argue anymore.
