Little Bride Alvaro

Little Bride Alvaro
77. Support from the in-laws

Standing too long did not make him realize that someone had been watching him.

Azlina could only stare at Alvaro from behind the window glass covered by the curtain that opened slightly it was full of longing. The fact that every night the man hugged her while sleeping made Azlina unable to stop her crying. She missed him so much, so much.

Azlina's tears can't be held back. He was still crying, crying silently, without a sound, there were only streams of tears that had wet his cheeks. In fact, the woman had no intention of wiping him off because he was too busy with his thoughts.

Until a hand patted her shoulder, making Azlina turn her head later. "Father!"

The man, whose hair had partially bleached, looked at the smile, then lowered his hand.

"You want to go inside?"

Azlina had become a stupid girl who was slow to digest the words of Papa Agus who offered her entry into the treatment room Alvaro. Azlina was still silent, still unable to believe the offer. And then, as soon as he started to wake up.

"Can I? I ... wanted to meet him, but ...."

"Mama is sleeping. Papa can stand guard for you. Come inside! Meet your husband! He must miss you too."

Azlina could say nothing but nod and cry. He immediately wiped away the tears that had not stopped flowing from the corner of his eyes. Then, being obedient, Azlina followed Papa Agus to enter the treatment room Alvaro.

There, the main light is turned off, leaving a sleeping light located under the emergency button.

Azlina stepped slowly, her heart rumbling between sorrow and longing. Sad to see Alvaro who never opened his eyes, longing for not being able to hug the man as usual.

Now, Azlina realized that the time they spent together was precious. God could have without warning taken time with them, so Azlina could only be grateful to have gone through sweet things with Alvaro.

Azlina dragged a chair to get close to the side of Alvaro's bed for him to sit on. His hand grabbed Alvaro's hand, which was free of the infusion needle, and then held it. He opened Alvaro's palm, kissing him several times. His lips apologized many times, but made no sound. Azlina was afraid that a little sound could wake Mama Rani up and make her not allowed to visit Alvaro.

Azlina's outstretched hand rubbed Alvaro's hair that felt soft on the hand. The hair that always smelled his favorite shampoo, which often made him unconsciously sniff it without Alvaro's knowledge, although in the end the man insinuated it with a joke.

Azlina missed the voice, the voice that irritated her and laughed at the same time, longing for the embrace that she had always received without knowing the time and place. He buried his face in Alvaro's palm while crying silently. His body was shaken as the crying became more and more unstoppable.

"Wake, Brother! I miss you." Azlina was only able to utter on the lips with half a whisper.

He was really fragile seeing Alvaro never open his eyes. Though Azlina knew that if the man was a strong man, her burly hands always kept her protected no matter where she was. However, everything seemed to change as Alvaro lay weakly helpless just because of the shrimp. Yes, Azlina regretted mixing shrimp into Alvaro's food.

"I'm sorry, brother. I can't be a good wife to you."

Azlina kissed Alvaro on the forehead, gently rubbing the man's hair. She was quite happy to be able to touch her husband again even in a stealthy way.

Papa Agus who keeps Mama Rani from waking up occasionally glanced at Azlina. He still does not believe in the affair committed by Azlina who had been informed by Mama Rani before.

Seeing how Azlina was alone at night standing in front of the room guarding Alvaro while crying without daring to enter, but from the outside it only seemed a little because it was covered with curtains, but the woman could linger there crying. There must be a misunderstanding here, so that makes the man decide to wait for an explanation from Alvaro related to the problem of their house.

Azlina had already stood up from her seat after saying goodbye to Alvaro, whispering something to the man. He nodded to Papa Agus asking for permission to go home immediately. Actually he wanted to stay, but it was circumstances that made him unable to do that.

The man who had a face very similar to Alvaro in the old version drove Azlina out of Alvaro's room. Even so, Azlina was still his daughter-in-law. He who asked the girl to stay in his house, offered the warmth of the family in order to be able to stay at home because of the age that is still very young, but had to end up being driven like that.

"How are your parents doing? Have you told them?" Papa Agus asked Azlina when they were outside Alvaro's room.

Azlina shook her head. "I didn't go home to my parents, Pa. I'm afraid to tell them." He lowered his head, hiding the eyes that were beginning to dew again.

"Where do you live now? Papa's gonna rent out an apartment for where you live for a while. Don't tell your parents about what happened. Sorry Mama, yes! You sometimes can't control your emotions when it comes to Alvaro. He's too fond of the kid."

"I know, Pa. I'm not angry at all with my mom. I'm just worried about Brother, because he's lying there because of my carelessness."

Papa Agus shook his head. "You're not careless, but you just don't know yet. Papa does not understand the development of your relationship so far. What Papa knows is that Alvaro changed a lot after getting married. He is more diligent at work and willing to use his brain which is actually intelligent to think. Though previously he wanted to enter the company Papa only because of Papa's coercion because he is the only successor, but after you enter his life, he became a more responsible person. Thank you, Papa is sure that you're the right partner for Alvaro."

Azlina wiped her tears, not expecting that Papa Agus would still be on her side after what she heard and what had happened to Alvaro.

"Thank you, Pa. For a while I stayed at a friend's house. I have not dared to go home because I must ask Brother if I do not come together."

"All right, now you're coming home! Papa's driver will take you. Papa doesn't want anything to happen to Papa's son if he comes home alone at night. Understood!"

Azlina nodded, forced to obey Papa Agus' orders. At least there are still those who want to support him to stay with Alvaro. Azlina retreated after kissing the back of Papa Agus' hand, then said hello.
