Extra Part 1s

"*I'll look after you eomma, rest in peace."

**Twenty years later***…

The same sentence as twenty years ago recited by Oh Haowen Haneul, the little angels Kenji and Ayumi have now transformed into handsome men like his father and good-hearted like Ayumi, his mother.

"Eommas.. It's Haowen.. How are you doing there? Ah... You must be with halmoni and haraboji right? You guys cheat together there and leave me with a super cold guy like Appa"

While Kenji just smiled at Haowen's chattering that sounded very chatty. She smiles proudly as it survives to this point and raises Haowen with her own two hands without any help from anyone including from Derick and Keiko. He made sure himself that his son grew up with enough affection even without Ayumi accompanying Haowen in his infancy.

"Eommas... You know that, right? Appa loves you very much. She always sleeps with your picture and always talks to you if she's tired. He is an expressionless human being, but he loves you eomma. He loves me too. And she should know that we both love her"

Kenji chuckles to hear the words of his son who is so chatty when visiting the grave of his mother. Haowen who everyday is an original jeplakan of himself. Not much to say and just do something that he thinks is right, but Haowen who is visiting Ayumi's tomb is Haowen who shows that he is indeed the son of Kenji and Ayumi.

"Hey quickly tell me your purpose here." Kenji interrupted his son who did not stop talking.

"Araseo haraboji." Sindir Haowen looked back at the tomb that read XI AYUMI HANEUL there.

"Eommas. I'm 25 this year, and I want to tell you the good news. Next week I'm getting married to the beautiful daughter of Derick appa and Keiko eomma…. Yes I know you are very happy because eventually Ziyu the chatter will become your daughter-in-law" he said smilingly at his mother's headstone.

Wush~

The wind was so soft that Haowen and Kenji's faces. They seemed to be able to feel Ayumi's presence here with them.

"Although I really hope you come to my wedding eomma. I'd really like to see you." Said Haowen quivering bowed still stroking his mother's gravestone.

Kenji looked at his son's trembling back, he again felt great regret for not taking good care of his wife. He feels very failed to be a father and husband for Haowen and Ayumi. Because he was a son and his wife could not live together and even the two barely knew each other.

"But it's okay, eomma, you don't have to be sad. Appa says you always see me there, so I believe you'll be attending my wedding. I love you eomma." Haowen wiped away her tears quickly and smilingly kissed her mother's headstone.

"Well, my date's up with you, eomma. It's the old man's turn." Kekeh Haowen walked towards Kenji and hugged his father's body which always felt thin in his arms.

"I love you aboji." Whisper Haowen to Kenji.

"Open love you too, son." Kenji hugged his son.

"I was waiting in the car, but talking to eomma hmm" he said, making Kenji smile.

"I'll talk to your mother a little bit." Kekeh Kenji told his son.

"I'll wait for you old man." Temptation Haowen makes Kenji mislead his son.

Before long Haowen breezed away to the car park, deciding to give his father more time to convey his longing to his mother, because Haowen knew very well how much his father missed his mother, never one night passed by Kenji without hugging or talking to Ayumi's photo, telling her about everything she experienced today including telling her about Haowen's growth, and how proud he was of his only son.

Haowen wiped away the tears that she had been holding back, he knew that his father would rather catch up with his mother than live to feel how the figure he loved so slowly disappeared from his memory. "Appa.. Promise me you'll stay with me. I don't have anybody else." Haowen muttered that he had accelerated and was afraid to imagine that his father had also left him.

Meanwhile the middle-aged man who saw his son's back growing away just smiled softly knowing that his son was worried about him a lot. He then looked at his wife's headstone and smiled happily.

Kenji then crouched down and placed a lily on Ayumi's grave "Hay dear" muttered Kenji kissing the gravestone that read Ayumi's name for quite a while. Trying to take off his longing because he had not visited his wife's grave for several days.

"How are you, baby? You saw it, right? Haowen is a grown up now." He said smilingly told Ayumi.

"He's getting married soon and by then my promise to you is fulfilled" Kenji again caressed Ayumi's grave.

He remained silent for a long time and not long.

The test!

The tears of longing fell back on his cheeks. Ayumi had left him for twenty years, but the memories of when he asked for his last wish still rang clear in Kenji's mind, making him have to always be strong to live his life without Ayumi.

"yum, I missed you. Miss you so much."

Kenji closed his eyes because the wind was so soothing that his twenty-year-old heart felt empty and very empty.

"Blessed there baby, let me suffer here, I deserve it. But I beg you one thing Yum.."

Kenji is bowed and never does not cry bitterly when he remembers how cruel he was to Ayumi in the past, when how much pain Ayumi struggled with her illness, and when in the end Ayumi gave up because she could no longer bear the pain.

"Please promise not to fade from my memory. I'm afraid to forget your pretty face baby, I'm afraid I can't remember your sweet smile anymore Yum. I'm afraid we'll never see each other again." He said he clutched his chest and Ayumi's tombstone together.

Yes, for 20 years of his life, Kenji lived with regret, every breath he breathed was so stifling and so painful, many times he intended to catch up with Ayumi in order to get back with him, but many times also his intention he buried deeply because of his promise to Ayumi to keep their son who increasingly looks more like Ayumi.

Kenji then smiled softly back at Ayumi's headstone "I'll hold on as much as I can dear, I'll really hold on for you. I love you." He said he kissed the headstone that read Ayumi's name with tears that kept wetting her cheeks.
