Last Hope

Episode 17's

Inside the dark cave, the quiet and tense atmosphere felt burdening the five friends. They sat in groups, with Rani looking very depressed and full of fear. His eyes were blank, as if swept away in the shadow of a bad memory from the moment he was kidnapped by a pervert group.

Rian, who as his partner, sat near Rani with an expression of concern and worry. He gently touched Rani's arm, trying to calm her agitated heart. "Rani, I'm here for you. We're going through it together" whispered Rian in a soft voice. Her eyes were full of tenderness and affection, trying to remove the fear embedded in Rani's face.

Anna and Rachel, close friends of Rani, feel called to provide support and warmth. They hugged Rani tightly, trying to change the mood and encourage their injured friend. "We're here for you, Rani. We are all together in this struggle" said Rachel sincerely, while Anna gently rubbed Rani's back lovingly.

Amidst these difficult circumstances, Luna took the initiative to create an environment that was comfortable for them. He carefully prepared a resting place by arranging the rocks into a soft base. Meanwhile, he also arranged the food they had managed to get before on a piece of cloth, creating a bit of comfort in difficult circumstances.

"Luna, thank you for your efforts" Rian said with gratitude in his voice. "You mean so much to all of us. We must stay strong and united."

"Yes," said Rachel. "We have to keep our spirits up and find a way to fight that pervert group. They can't keep terrorizing us and the people in the village."

Anna added, "We must stick to hope. We can't give up. Together, we're gonna face this challenge and find a way out."

In the silent darkness of the cave, the five comrades held hands, creating a strong bond between them. Despite feeling depressed and afraid, they promised to protect each other and fight the pervert group.

While eating the food that has been prepared greedily, the five friends feel the warmth and enjoyment of the food. There were small smiles engraved on the faces of Anna, Luna, and Rachel, they tried to melt the atmosphere with a light joke.

But Rani looks different. His eyes were blank and silent, as if contemplating something deep. Unbeknownst to the others, Rani feels desperate and wants to end her own life. Inside her bag, she kept the revolver she had obtained secretly from Rachel's bag. That despair prompted him to come out of the cave and stand on the edge of the abyss, looking towards the dark sky.

Rian, who felt something was off, tried to catch up with Rani outside. However, when he arrived at the edge of the abyss, he was startled by the shocking sight. Rani has put a gun to her own head, ready to end her life. Rian halted his steps, quickly trying to prevent the tragedy from happening.

"Know! Don't do this!" rian exclaimed in a panicked voice, trying to persuade Rani with all her strength. "We're here for you. We care about you. We're gonna get through this together!"

However, Rani remained silent and speechless. Her tears were rushing down, reflecting a deep sense of despair. Rian tries to reassure her affectionately, embracing Rani tightly and trying to give strength to her fragile heart.

"Rani, look at me" whispered Rian in a soft voice while looking into Rani's eyes lovingly. "You're not alone. We're all here for you. We're going through all this together. Trust me."

Slowly, Rani's hand began to fall, and the gun was captured by Rian. The two of them hugged each other tightly, their tears mixed together. A sense of worry and relief enveloped Rian's heart as the two of them returned into the cave.

Anna, Rachel, and Luna look with concern as Rian and Rani return. They understood how heavy the inner battle they were going through was. They give unlimited support and affection to their friends.

In the silence of the night, in the dark cave, conversations full of emotions and words of comfort were exchanged. They support each other, strengthening their passion and belief that they can get through this difficult time together.

"You are an important part of our family, Rani," said Rachel tenderly. "We will never

Anna added in a hoarse voice, "We are true friends, Rani. We're going through all these obstacles together. Never feel alone."

Luna, wiping the tears streaming down her cheeks, said, "We will seek strength within ourselves and each other. We're a team, and no one can beat us if we stick together."

In the grip of strong togetherness and love, the five friends feel the warmth and hope that comes amid the darkness. They decided to take a short break, take a deep breath, and prepare for whatever is to come. In their struggle, they know that together they can overcome all obstacles and find the freedom they seek.

Ending the night with renewed hope and determination, they sleep with the thought that tomorrow is the new day they will face together.

When they lay on the ground and rocks Rachel was still awake and thinking about the group, not only Rachel it was the same in Rian's nature.

They both decided to stay away from her group who had fallen asleep, Luna and Anna were seen hugging tightly to Rani's body with warmth.

Rian asked "Who is that group, and what is their purpose for doing human beings like animals." Curiously.

"I don't know what Rian was from their motives, they shot a pair of men and women without any guilt at all." Reply Rachel.

"Surprisingly, why in this broken world there are still people who are not aware and learn from the impact of this disaster, all this is the work of greedy humans and never learn from mistakes" rian was full of emotion.

Rachel recalls the tony she had met before with Anna.

"Wait for Rian, I remember someone." Rachel.

Rachel explained to Rian "Tony was the leader of a pervert group that survived in an extreme way, namely by cannibalism, I had met him, he said, I saw some little kids and people who might be against their behavior waiting to be executed, me and Anna were almost fooled by the manipulative nature of tony."

"Fuck, their group moreover Rachel I'm so sick of this world" Rian replied with annoyance.

"Tony as the head of the deviant group has great power and influence over his group members. He may have a cruel, vile personality, and not be bound by the social norms that prevailed before the destruction of the world. Tony and his group may be running various acts of violence and cruelty in order to survive and obtain the resources they need." Rachel explains in detail to Rian with what she remembers.

Rian was silent to this, and then Rachel went on with the possibility and he thought "Maybe some of the people we killed were a small part of the tony group, we should be more careful now, he said, maybe gradually they will realize some of their group is missing and from now on we will be the target of their group" said Rahel with seriousness.

As if not believing what Rachel told Rian could only be silent with all the explanations that Rachel gave.

The five friends not only have to survive the threat of zombies they must survive the threats and crimes of tony groups that threaten their lives.
