Episode 14

The next day, Rian, Rahel, and Luna decide to set out in search of food supplies outside the village. They felt the need to find a new source of food as their supplies in the village had already begun to run low. With the bags they had prepared, they came out of the village with hopeful hearts.

They walked around every corner of the city they met. The scenery they encountered was no longer what it used to be. Buildings that were once beautiful now look damaged and abandoned. The once crowded streets were now quiet and empty. A gripping atmosphere was felt in the air, making them wary of the possibility of encountering zombies or irresponsible looters groups.

As they traverse the dusty streets, they try to find smaller shops that may still have food supplies left. They enter the shops carefully, trying not to make a noise so as not to attract unwanted attention.

But they have to face the fact that most of the stores have been empty. Food shelves that used to be filled with various products now leave only dust and emptiness. Desperation began to approach them, but they did not give up. They kept trying to search other stores, hoping to find a little source of food they could bring home.

When they almost lost hope, suddenly Rian's eyes caught the light in the distance. It was a supermarket that looked intact. They ran towards that place with burning hopes.

Rian: Hey, look! There's a supermarket there! Maybe we can find enough food there.

Rachel: Right, we have to try. Who knows, there are some things we can bring home.

Luna: But we have to be careful, maybe there are zombies or looters around there.

Rian: You're right, Luna. We need to stay alert and move carefully.

They walked towards the supermarket with mixed feelings of hope and worry. When they reached the front entrance, they saw broken glass and some items scattered outside.

Anna: Looks like someone came here first. We need to stay on guard.

Rachel: All right, we'll split the task. Rian, you and Luna are looking for food in the supermarket. Anna and I will look for items that can be useful for defense.

They entered the supermarket with caution. Food shelves that used to be filled with various products are now messy, some of which are even damaged.

Luna: I found some whole cans of food here!

Rian: Good, take everything. We need a long-lasting meal.

Rachel and Luna went around looking for useful equipment and supplies. They found a flashlight, a folding knife, and some carpentry tools they could carry.

Luna: Look, there's also a wire-cutting tool that can be useful for creating zombie traps.

Rachel: Good, take everything we need. The more supplies and supplies we get, the better.

After some time, they gathered in front of the supermarket exit door with bags full of supplies.

Rian: Wow, we did it! There is plenty of food we can bring home.

Luna: And we also have enough equipment to improve the defense of our village.

Rahel: Now, it's time we go back to the village and share this joy with others.

Luna: Yes, I hope these supplies can give us all new hope.

With a smile and a feeling of relief, they stepped out of the supermarket. They walked home with hearts full of joy, feeling lucky to have found a precious supply.

On the way home, they shared stories and laughed reminiscing about the moments they experienced while looking for supplies. Their spirit is burning, ready to face the challenges that await them in the future.

On the way home that was filled with excitement after successfully obtaining supplies, things suddenly turned tense and gripping. Rian, Rahel, and Luna were suddenly startled by the sound of screaming coming from behind them. They immediately turned around and saw a pair of men and women who were running with all their might, being chased by a horde of armed men.

Rachel: What is going on?!

Rian: They're in danger! We have to help them!

Luna: Quick, let's hide and see what happens.

They ran towards the bushes near the road, trying to protect themselves while observing the situation with a pounding heart. The couple is seen in a state of wounds, running with a limp, and seemingly struggling to avoid the pursuit of their pursuers.

Rachel: (silently) What is really going on here? Who're they?

Rian: (whispering) I don't know, but for sure, we should stay hidden and observe carefully. Don't be seen by them.

Luna: (holding Rachel's hand tightly) This is terrible. We have to do something.

Soon enough, an inevitable battle occurred before their eyes. The couple tried to fight back, but unfortunately, they were overwhelmed by the number of more people and more powerful weapons. One of those who was running limped was hit by gunfire and fell helplessly to the ground.

Rachel: (biting her lips, full of emotion) Oh my God, what is going on? They have no right to do this!

Rian: (holds tightly to the rifle he found) Keep your emotions, Rachel. We have to stay hidden, not be able to fight them this way.

Luna: (with tears in her eyes) I feel helpless... There's nothing we can do.

When the couple is rushed into the car by the group chasing them, they see that one of the group is showing an innocent expression. They shouted and celebrated their victory, as if they had managed to catch the intended game animal.

Rachel: (shattering their teeth) How could they do so coldly and without mercy?

Rian: (with a quivering voice) They have no conscience... They see us as enemies.

Luna: (in a soft voice) We should keep hiding and try to get home safely. We can't be the next victims.

In a silence full of sadness and despair, they continued to hide in the bushes, waiting for the right moment to come out and return to their village. They promised themselves that they would remain strong and take care of each other, even though the world around them had become harsh and cruel.

With heavy hearts, they moved slowly, maintaining their calm and prudence. The journey home that should be full of happiness turned into a journey that requires their courage and courage. However, they hold on to the hope that they will make it to the village safely, and find a better life amidst the darkness that haunts this world.

But when the situation calmed down unexpectedly on the way home they saw some parts of the group were sweeping with firearms, The tension grew when Rahel Rian and Luna realized the group was walking towards the village. They moved quickly, sneaking behind the bushes and ruins of abandoned buildings. Every step they took with vigilance, because they realized that the group who was making sweeping might follow some footsteps towards the village.

Rachel: (whispers to Luna and Rian) We have to move fast. They had not reached the village, but they were heading there. We should reach the village before them and tell Anna and Rani to keep watch.

Luna: (with a tense expression) I was worried about what would happen if they knew that in the village there was only Anna and Rani. We have to protect them.

Rian: (holding tightly the weapons in his hands) We must not let them reach the village. We have to find shortcuts, traverse forests and mountain slopes to avoid them.

They continued their journey carefully, continuing to track safer and more hidden paths. They crossed a swift river, passed through a steep valley, and conquered the obstacles of nature. Their spirit did not fade even though tired began to approach.

Rachel: (stop for a moment to take a breath) We are near. Our village is across the hill there. We have to keep moving and arrive before they do.

Luna: (wagging her sweat-soaked hair) Don't give up, we can do it. Anna and Rani are counting on us.

Rian: (strictly) We will protect them. We will not allow the group to hurt anyone in the village.

With a sense of worry, they broke through the forest and climbed the hill with a strong determination. The heavy burden of travel is not able to defeat their desire to protect their friends. And finally, they arrived at the top of the hill, with the view of their village lying before them.

Rachel: (smiling a little relieved) We made it, we arrived at the village.

Luna: (watching the village with worry) Now, we have to move fast. We must inform Anna and Rani of the menacing danger.

Rian: (stepping forward with steady steps) Let's be prepared, we must be ready for whatever awaits us in the village.

With a heart full of courage, Rian, Luna, and Rachel continue their journey to their village, ready to face the dangers that may await them there. They hope to arrive in time to tell Anna and Rani so they can prepare for the unknown group.
