It's like saying "I Miss You"

It's like saying "I Miss You"
Night of the storm

The guide removes the circular ring on his little finger. The ring was engraved with the names of both. Not knowing the size of the rings, Nada only estimated the size of their fingers. But it turns out that the ring only entered on each little finger. But this time Pandu returned a ring that was almost six years circular on his little finger. Tone could not believe what had just happened.

“My parents told me to leave you. They know that your parents don't approve of us. So, we just end all this.” said Pandu while looking into the eyes of the glassy Tone.

Nada took the time to go home to be able to meet Pandu. Long distance relationships are often shrouded in emotion. Either because you can not resist longing or maybe there is something else that bothers you. Tone quite often see this kind of urgency. But never once took off the ring on his finger. The feeling of Tone getting mixed up is not good.

“Why? Hasn't this matter been resolved long ago? how could they know?” Tanya Nada who started to shed a single tear of her eyes.

Pandu looks silent. He just looked down as if he didn't want to say it. Tone grips Pandu's arm tightly. There was a trembling feeling that Pandu felt from the palm of Nada's hand. Yet….The man refused to care.

“My brother opened my phone and saw our conversation. He told my parents straight away. I can't explain anything to them.”

“I want to talk to your parents. I'll explain everything to them.” Nada tried to find Pandu's parents at home, but the man stopped his steps. Pandu held Nada so that he could not enter his house.

“Enough, Tone. I can't go on anymore. We're over. My parents were furious to hear that. They don't want to see you again.I'm sorry, Nada.”

Tone Cheeks are already in tears. His eyes felt hot and hot. The tears he could not bear anymore. It was flowing very hard because it felt a tremendous pain in his heart. Was he the only one who fought? Even this man can't fight for his own relationship. Even convinced his own parents he was unable to. Did six years of their relationship mean nothing to him? It is that easy to let go of what has been fought for together. Or is it just Nada fighting alone?

The tone wiped his tears. They need time to calm down. It would be like the previous fight. They will definitely make up again. So thought Nada. He chose to leave Pandu without saying anything. No. gabe. He couldn't say goodbye in this way.

“Thank you for everything..and forgive me.” Pandu said without staring at Nada and leaving just like that. Without looking back.

One thing Nada realized at the time. If he starts to realize something different from Pandu since a few days ago. Even one month ago when he met, Pandu no longer wears his ring. He only quibbled if his ring was left behind. Though Nada never once saw Pandu take off the ring before. What's wrong with him? and the tears came back when Pandu's back was no longer visible.

Tone stared at the several chairs in the living room with a blank look. He thought that he had completely forgotten Pandu. According to him, the presence of Dewanto is able to make Nada forget everything about Pandu. But when they meet again, the sense of tightness overwhelms Nada. The pain when he was abandoned was still very pronounced even after three years had passed. How deep was the wound that had scratched his heart to what it is today?

Some memories of Pandu rolled around just like that. It was as if the brief encounter of the two earlier provoked an old memory that painstakingly buried Nada very deeply. Even Tone's tears could no longer be held in her eyelids. All emotions mixed until finally only able to bring tears. Longing, anger, hatred, affection, hurt, disappointment, betrayal mixed into one real emotion, the tears that flowed on his cheeks at this time.

Nada looked around the house that he would make a bookstore as well as the cafe. How could he possibly survive in this place if Pandu was around that place. Should he return the house to Dewanto? But for what reason? His hunch says if he is still here, he will always meet with Pandu whether intentionally or not.

The car stopped in front of the house. He brought in some papers and clothes for Nada to wear to attend a dinner invitation from her sister. A mini dress that looks very simple but does not lose its graceful and elegant side. The front door is not locked at all. Although there were no valuables yet, leaving the door unlocked was careless.

Dewanto enters the house and searches for Nada's whereabouts. There was no sign that the girl was inside the house. “Tone? Are you inside?”

He saw the maroon jacket that Nada wore when she came here lying just like that on the living room sofa. Is it possible that the girl put down her jacket in a hurry then forgot to lock the door? Dewanto walked inwards. He found Nada's phone lying on the stairs. What the hell's going on?

Suddenly the sound of a key opened. The bathroom door opened and Tone appeared with a wondering face. “You just came?”

Dewanto was shocked and misbehaved. He had guessed what did not happen to Nada. “I just arrived. What are you doing?”

Face Tone reddened. Should he answer that embarrassing question? What does one usually do in the bathroom? Isn't it obvious? Should he confess that he wiped his tears with water? “Ke...why did you ask that?”

Dewanto suddenly came to a realization and tried to change the subject. “I brought a dress. I happened to pass by and saw this dress. Looks like it suits you. You can wear it for dinner later.”

Tone walked over to the tote bag containing the dress that Dewanto meant. Tone glanced at a glance. “Should I use a dress?”

“It wasn't a fancy dress. Just a dress that looks a little graceful but still casual. I bought it because I remember when we were betrothed. At that time you made me unable to blink for a while.” said Dewanto while scratching his head that did not itch.

A weak smiling tone. He thinks back. How foolish is he to cry for another man when there is a sincere man who is always honest before him? Tone took a step and landed his kiss on Dewanto's cheek. “Thank you, dear.”

Again. Dewanto was once again made unable to blink for a while and his heart seemed to stop beating.

Dewanto's car stopped in his yard. A pretty big house. It was the first time Nada visited Dewanto's house and was reunited with her parents. His heart was pounding worried if it was not accepted in a wealthy family like this. This feeling is the same as when he was first brought to the Pandu house and introduced to his parents. If Nada knew it would end so tragically like this, she would rather refuse to be introduced to the Pandu family.

Tone drives away his bad thoughts. He shook his head a few times. That action made Dewanto worry about this girl. “You okay?”

“Ahh...I'm just nervous.”

Dewanto stuck out his arm at Nada. The two looked at each other. Nada was unsure of his guess. “Hold my hand and walk with me. Everything's gonna be fine. You met my parents, it's no big deal, right?”

Nada grabbed Dewanto's arm and grasped it tightly. Her feelings warmed up a little. His nervousness disappeared instantly like magic. Both of them entered the mansion where Dewanto grew from childhood to become the adult figure he is today. Ms. Dewanto had already welcomed the two at the entrance. A friendly and authoritative figure. Although his age is no longer fairly young, but the charisma that arises is very pronounced.

“Thank God you guys have come. Mom's been waiting. Wouldn't mind having dinner together here, would you?” Ask Mom to Tone.

“Sorry if it troubles Mom. I brought you some fruit I hope Mom likes.” said Nada handed me a basket containing fruit parcels that he bought during the trip.

“Thank you. Come inside. God, take Nada to the dining room. I will call your father and sister.” said Mother while handing over the fruit parcel to the kitchen.

Dewanto invites Nada to walk around for a while to see some photos hanging in the living room. Many family photos look harmonious. There was a girl in their family photo. That must be Dewanto's sister. Tone feels if the face of the sister is not foreign to him. But he could not remember where he had seen that face.

The sound of footsteps coming down the stairs. Dewanto is very familiar with these footsteps. His sister ran in a navy plain mini dress with a simple necklace around her neck.

“Kakak?!! You're back?” shouted a woman who ran then immediately hugged Dewanto tightly. Ignoring the Tone that was still standing at the back.

Dewanto returned his sister's embrace very tightly. The two had been separated for three years and were eventually reunited. How much they miss each other. “You didn't tell me you were coming home. You are so naughty !!”

Again Nada like ever seeing the face of Dewanto's sister. But where? Not her schoolmate, right? He really can't remember that face. Nada's breathing was shortened for a moment when his eyes were already staring at Dewanto's sister. The look in the eye was not a friendly look. His whole body started to creep.

“I thought only his name was similar. It turns out it was you.” said the woman while taking off her embrace on Dewanto. “At first I felt impossible, but it was true. You're really shameless, huh?”

Tone of confusion with the speech of Dewanto's sister. He was very sure if this was their first meeting, but why did the woman seem to hate Nada? What's wrong? What did he say? Nada really can't recognize the face of Dewanto's sister.

“Sasti, what are you saying? You guys haven't met at all, have you?” Tanya Dewanto tried to relieve Sasti's emotions that began to emerge from her eyes that continued to glare at Nada. It was as if it would pounce on Nada alive.

Nada was surprised when Dewanto said that name. He's not deaf, is he? Who earlier? The sasti? It's impossible, right? Though she refused to believe it, her memory led to a photo she had seen on social media. Yes, it's Pandu's social media.

“This is indeed our first meeting. But I never forget the face of a cheap woman who dared to tease people's husbands.” said Sasti while pushing Nada's shoulder to make the girl shaken from her position to stand.

Nada sighed in disbelief at what she had just heard. Cheap woman who seduces people's husbands? How did that nickname get to him? Tone is the victim. How could his position turn into a doer?

A man appeared from behind Sasti's back. The man tried to enter the conversation of the three of them. “What is this? Sasti, what are you doing?”

Fear of Tone happening. It turns out to be true if this woman is Pandu's wife. Nada had seen her picture when Pandu posted on social media. That's when Nada immediately deleted all access connected to Pandu. Naturally, if Nada forgets Sasti's face. Because for him to remember Pandu is the most painful thing in Nada's life. At this moment the man who had left Nada was present again before him. Pandu came and showed the same expression as Nada who was shocked.

Tone tears flowed involuntarily. The first time he realized that the world lived only as wide as moringa leaves. “Prime?”

Pandu just fell silent while staring at Nada. He did not expect that his sister-in-law's fiancee was his own ex-lover. The regret re-emerged in Pandu's heart. Why did he cheat before? Why didn't he keep the girl who sincerely loved him? Even the tears that Tone was releasing right now were tears of stifled longing. How sorry he was to throw this girl in front of him.

“Wait. I don't understand the situation at all. Can you explain to me what happened between you? Honey, why are you crying?” Dewanto who had just been silent and wondering now began to take action.

“I don't want any of these cheap women ruining our family dinner. I never thought of him as family. You can kick him out, brother ! we still have to do family dinner.” said Sasti while pulling Dewanto's hand.

“No need to bother. I also do not want to eat together with a seductress like you and also a traitor like this man.” said Nada while stepping out of the house. He did not accept being treated with such disrespect.

And that family dinner was forced to never happen because of this incident.
