“Later in the afternoon we take a walk, yes.” invite Dewanto to keep looking into the eyes of Nada with a gentle gaze. The gaze that always made Nada drift inward.
“You're not busy?”
“After this opening event, the core event will be held tomorrow. So, after this opening it's free hours. Tomorrow I'll show you a good place I just found. You must love.” obviously Dewanto is very enthusiastic to show something he found when preparing this morning.
Tone speechless. There was a disappointed face. Tomorrow morning he had to board the first flight to return. He can't leave the office for too long. “Tomorrow I'm back. I had to board the first flight because I was here only to temporarily replace the secretary's duties.”
“You're not here until the show is over?”
Tone just shakes. His departure was very sudden and without any notice. He is not even allowed to pack first and only bring makeup equipment. That was excruciating. He has to go back no matter what.
“I'll only be here until tomorrow morning. I'll wait until you get home.” Seeing Dewanto's smile full of tenderness made Nada feel relieved. I don't think he wants to lose that smile.
Dewanto grabbed both palms of the tiny Nada with his sweet fingers. “Later tonight I want to take you somewhere.”
Tone hurriedly distanced his hand from the man standing before him. His eyes looked as if they were looking. He suspects something. “What do you want to do?”
Dewanto sighed. This woman who makes her heart captivated is really adorable even though it is sometimes annoying. He touched the Nada eel with full tenderness. “Stupid. What the hell are you thinking? I won't do anything before making a valid marriage pledge.”
It was good to hear that from Dewanto's lips. Although actually this kind of thinking is fairly colossal to be applied in this day and age. But that's what makes Nada feel happy. It seemed like he indeed needed to open his heart to the extraordinary man before him at this moment.
“Enter. I'm sure everyone is waiting for you. You're the superstar of the day. You can definitely succeed.” said Nada by showing the sweetest smile.
Dewanto returned that sweet smile. Want to hug Nada once again, but not good if until someone sees because he has been out of the room long enough. Dewanto immediately entered the room and continued the opening event until it was finished. Now is the time for Nada to lie in the room because she can not continue the work. Later that night he had to wake up.

He walks with a stumble. Groped every surface he could reach. It all just looks black and dark. Dewanto closed his eyes very tightly. He could barely find the slightest gap of light. Dewanto kept guiding by holding Nada's left hand. He had to make sure the girl didn't fall or hit something. With quite slow but sure steps, the two entered the hotel elevator towards the top floor. Nada could only guess what the man would do to her.
“Are we in the elevator?” Tanya Nada while looking down because she could not find the gap of light from the blindfold that Dewanto installed.
“Do you think this is in the elevator?” Tanya Dewanto asked back. He did not take off his hand on the girl.
Tone was silent for a moment. He wasn't even sure if he was in the elevator. This hotel is very luxurious. If usually someone will feel the shock if while in the elevator, it does not apply to this luxury hotel. “Entahlah. It feels like I'm going upstairs. But I'm not sure either.”
Dewanto held back his laughter. When else would he be able to prank a tone like this? Dewanto chose silence to let the girl be filled with various questions in her heart. The elevator was moving very quietly. Even the shock that should be felt when riding the elevator, will not be felt in the slightest when in the elevator.
“Please wait a minute. There are many people in front.” said Dewanto while whispering in the ear of Nada. The girl only replied with a nod of her head. Dewanto was forced to lie to Nada so that he did not suspect a surprise that would be given Dewanto.
The place that Dewanto wanted to show Nada was in the hotel's rooftop. He found the place while he was preparing for today's opening ceremony. That place is pretty hidden. To get to that place, you have to circle the pool in the rooftop. Since it was quite late at night, not many visitors were swimming. It was just that the night wind was blowing too hard.
“We're out of the hotel? where are you taking me? Last time you said it wouldn't be far.” said Nada began to protest because he was tired of having to walk with his eyes closed. Not even his ears were allowed to hear any sounds. A really cruel man.
“Not far away. You stay calm and keep walking. I'm still next to you.” said Dewanto trying to calm Nada. The girl was so impatient.
A person who is swimming makes the pool water flow out touching the soles of the feet of Nada. Dewanto closed his eyes. He tried hard to cover so that Nada did not realize if he was in the pool.
“What is this?....This at the pool? What do you want to take you to the pool? You're not gonna drop me into the pool, are you?” Nada started attacking Dewanto with a million questions.
“That's just someone spilling his drink. You don't have to worry and keep going. The drink only hit a little bit of your leg.:”
The tone is silent. Even Dewanto was not sure if this time could lie to Nada properly. How could anyone believe that much water was spilled drinking water? Dewanto patted his own tongue because of his stupidity in lying.
Tone continued walking. This time he chose silence because he had started to dislike this kind of surprise. Dewanto directed Nada towards a swing with several garden lights adorning his surroundings. Slowly, with tenderness Dewanto led Nada to occupy the swing. Tone just turned his head left and right trying to find clues about his whereabouts.
Dewanto removed the binding cloth to cover both of Nada's eyes. The girl blinked her eyes many times to adjust her gaze. He saw several decorative lights that suddenly lit up simultaneously. He was amazed by that simple sight.
“Look back.” said Dewanto who was already standing behind Nada.
The tone reverses to the source of the sound behind it. Dewanto stood with a smile showing the view of the city of Palembang at night. All the sparkling lights that lit up looked like constellations scattered in the sky. Nada's eyes were extremely astonished by this sight. He walked towards Dewanto standing.
Dewanto was nervous to see Nada look very serious. He even stepped too close from where Dewanto stood. What will this girl do? His heart suddenly beat irregularly. His breath seemed to be choking. Their eyes looked at each other. In each other's minds. Tone threw a mischievous smile and shifted to the right to see the cityscape more clearly.
The tightness in Dewanto's lungs disappeared instantly. Didn't expect that the girl would even be able to groom him to this extent.
“so this is the surprise you mean? Where was the drinking water that was spilling over my leg? We did take the elevator, right?”
Dewanto whistled while turning his eyes. He was never good at lying. Tone sighs. He looked back at the view of the city that night. He did not regret deciding to participate in the event held for these investors, even though he was not technically savvy at all.
“But, thank you for showing me this beautiful sight. I am grateful to have met you. There are so many new things I get from you. A world I never entered. Although it happened very quickly, I am grateful if that person is you.”
Dewanto turned around and looked at the scene that night. He had never expected to see this scene with Nada. It was the first time he had seen the view on the hotel rooftop. He only saw a photo of one of the hotel's visitors this morning when he found the place. Looks like the visitor was deliberately sleeping outside to enjoy this beautiful scenery.
Dewanto grabbed Nada's palm. “It's cold. Don't let you trip and fall ya.”
Tone threw his laughter when he saw Dewanto like that. The night was spent both of them looking at the night scenery while joking with each other.
