Nada was still busy with the dinner preparations that the three of them were going to do with Maria. If it was just dinner together as usual, he couldn't possibly do such a troublesome thing. Though only a Dewanto, but why did he become bothered like this? Nada threw her gaze at the man who was still going around looking at the contents of his room. Why would he bother with this just because the man joined dinner?

Dewanto returned to the dining table between the mini kitchen and a small sofa to relax while watching television. The room looks narrow but Nada arranges it in such a way that it looks fun to live in. The tone carries several bowls and plates to put on the dining table. Dewanto had only been staring at him non-stop ever since.

“Can I ask you something?”

“Whatever.” said Nada looks indifferent because he is still busy preparing dinner. It's better to be ready before Maria gets home.

“So noon at Siska's cafe, why did you take my hand?”

Suddenly Nada put down the glass she was carrying. He remembered the stupid thing he regretted after coming out of the cafe. What reason should he tell Dewanto? It was impossible if he did so because he wanted to make Siska jealous. Tone began to shift his eyes. Hope Dewanto can't read his mind right now.

“So why can't I pick you up at the office? Why should it be across the street? Is there anything you're hiding from me?” Dewanto brought his face closer to Nada who was now sitting next to him. Trying to read the girl's facial expression.

Nada tried to avoid Dewanto's face getting closer to his face. It's really not good for his heart health. Not one bit of Nada dared to look into Dewanto's eyes. He chose to avoid as much as possible rather than having to tell the truth.

“Tone, I'm home !!!” Shouted Maria straight in because the main door was not locked. He was surprised to see Dewanto and Nada who were close to each other like that.

Tone immediately stood up from his chair and walked over to Maria who was still shocked by the door. He was grateful that Mary had come home and saved him from the deadly question. “You've arrived? We've been waiting.”

“Why is he here?” whispered Mary to the Tone. “What did you guys do?”

“Let me tell you everything.” reply Tone by whispering too. Both of them immediately walked to the dining table that was complete with dinner menu today.

“Hai, Maria. Long time no see. Can I join you, right?” Sapa Dewanto when the two reached the dining table.

“What is this event? Why suddenly join?”

“Just stop by.” said Dewanto with great confidence.

If Nada makes food, then Mary must clean and wash the dishes after eating. That is the law that applies between the two. All this time it always went as it should. Dewanto had already returned home a few minutes ago after finishing two dishes of Nada cuisine. He really enjoyed Nada's cooking.

Tone just nodded. It all just happened. “I and Dewanto agreed within a month will decide whether to continue getting engaged or not.”

Maria put down some dishes that were finished washing. He took some tissue to dry his hands. “I don't think it's bad if you're in a relationship.” Maria said as she approached Nada. “Aren't you supposed to throw Pandu out of your life and replace him with someone else?”

Tone looked at Maria softly. He did not expect that his best friend could be open-minded about this. It may not hurt to open your heart to others. Who knows, that's the best. Tone embraced Mary very tightly. He is happy that he has his best friend by his side at the moment.

“Business trip?” Shouted Tone as he faced his director.

Early in the morning, even Nada had not entered her study, she had to face Mr. Director to talk about something. Tone saw one suitcase and backpack containing a laptop and some documents that seemed ready to be transported by Mr. Director. Nada was quite upset by the sudden decision his director had said.

“It should have been my secretary who accompanied for this business trip, but just now he gave word if his son suddenly had a high fever and decided not to go on a business trip. Honestly, I will be overwhelmed if I leave alone.” said Mr. Director while holding his head. Flight tickets have been purchased, invitations verified, hotel rooms have also been prepared. It is impossible to cancel this business trip.

Tone doesn't know what to do. This was so sudden, even he had not prepared the clothes that had to be brought. He was really upset by this kind of unilateral decision. Can he refuse? But for what reason?

“You don't have to stay a few days, just one day. You can come back tomorrow morning with the first flight. I only need a secretary at the opening. Many big investors joined the event. Who knows there are other investors willing to donate funds to our project. You yourself said that this project requires a lot of operational funds that are quite large.”

“Good. I'll come along, but give me time to go home packing things. I can not leave without bringing anything.” said Nada tried to negotiate when in fact he just wanted to buy time so as not to leave.

“That's the problem you take it easy. You can buy all the equipment you need there. This is compensation for sudden notice. It will not reduce salary or benefits. This is just a form of apology from me.” said Mr. Director still insisted to make Nada follow this business trip.

Tone echoed, He no longer had any reason to refuse this order. It's only one day, but it's going to be a long time. He did not even have any experience in attending this kind of business meeting. Wouldn't that just embarrass himself? How can he help Mr. Director if he does not have the slightest experience as a secretary.

“Many investors will attend the event. All come together to assess the projects of each company. If the company presentation is successful and attracts investors, we do not need to worry about operational funds.” Obviously Mr. Director while putting the document file and the flash into his backpack.

The tone closed his eyes for a moment. Hope he finds another reason to reject this order. He felt uncomfortable when he had to travel with Mr. Director. He was not familiar enough to talk about many things.

“oh, yes. I heard Mr. Dewanto also attended this business trip.”

Nada's eyes instantly perfectly rounded and a thousand reasons to reject the command he had just thought of, suddenly disappeared somewhere upon hearing the name Dewanto called. He immediately agreed to take a business trip out of town.
