"Even though he's not my aunt's son, I still consider him my younger brother. Because of him, my aunt took care of him."
"Your aunt took care of Alina just for her sake. Not sincerely taking care of Alina as her child."
"Already! Why do you fight and fight over the one thing that is useless. It doesn't matter who is right or wrong right now. All we have to do is save the life of the girl you love" Mika suddenly comes to mediate between me and Ryan.
Ryan and I didn't answer what Mika said. But, we might have the same thought at the moment.
I got into the ambulance to accompany Alina in there. While Ryan, he and Mika walked towards the parking lot.
Three ambulances go hand in hand. Breaking the silence of the dark and cold night. Vehicles that passed by, pulled over for a moment, letting the ambulance walk ahead of them.
I looked at the pretty face of the girl who was lying stiff in front of me at this moment. I held Alina's hand which was still warm. Tears are spilling, I can't take it anymore at this time.
"Alina darling, hang on. I'm sure, you're a very strong girl, who will never be inferior to the pain you're feeling right now."
I kissed Alina's left hand. While his right hand, attached an infusion hose.
"Alina baby, don't leave me. I can't live without you, Alina."
Ambulance stops in front of the hospital. Quickly, the nurse approached us to help. As for me, I can't do anything right now. I can only hope, Alina is fine.
"Sorry, just wait outside. Because the doctor will do his job" said one of the sisters to prevent my footsteps from entering the room.
"Help me, Sus. Please save my girlfriend."
"We will do our job well. Help us with prayer" the nurse said as she walked in and closed the door.
I was sitting in one of the waiting chairs. It feels so hard for me to accept this reality. I covered my face with both hands.
A touch of hand patted my shoulder slowly. I looked at that hand, then saw the owner of the hand who dared to pat my shoulder.
"Ryan."
"Prophet Mulya, we should pray a lot. So that Nino's okay inside."
I nodded slowly in response to what Ryan said.
Ryan sat next to me, after Mika who chose to sit next to Ryan.
"What's the truth that Alina said, if you don't know anything about what your aunt did?"
Why, it came out of my mouth. I was curious about what Alina said, before she was unconscious.
"Don't ask me that, Mulya. Because me and my aunt lived far away that time. I was close to my aunt, only when she came to Indonesia. And my job, too, is just to be his son's guard."
"Well, 'cause Alina herself told me you didn't know anything. I'll believe what Alina said. But remember, if I had known, you were also involved with your aunt. You'll know for yourself what the consequences of your involvement are."
"Don't worry, I'm happy to await the results of your investigation. I'm not going to run" Ryan said calmly.
Suddenly, a nurse came to us. I was shocked, immediately woke up from sitting, as well as Ryan and Mika.
"Who's the family of the gunshot victim just now?" ask the sister firmly.
"I'm a nurse" I said steadily.
"Could come with me for a minute, somebody wants to talk to you."
"Good, Sus."
"Ryan, I'll take Alina for a second. I'll see my brother for a minute."
"All right, you don't worry. There's me here who'll take care of Nino."
I left Alina's room. Following the footsteps of the sister who walked quickly, towards one of the rooms.
When the door opened, I saw my brother lying there.
"Mulya." My brother's voice sounded very small and heavy.
"Yes brother. What's up?"
"Where is Herman?"
"She .. she's in the hospital next door, sister," I said lying.
Before I got to my sister's room, I asked the sister how my sister and her husband were doing.
Apparently, the nurse's explanation was very surprising. My sister-in-law is hard not to help anymore. Before he got to the hospital, he was no longer alive.
As for my brother, he is dying right now. Because of the bullet, it damaged his organs. And the hope of recovery, very thin.
"Mulya, when will papa come here?"
"Papa's on his way, brother. You have to be patient."
"Mul, brother is not strong anymore. If papa comes, apologize to papa. Because kaka is already a child who can not obey what papa says," said my brother while holding my hand.
"Spatience, I'm sure, you'll be fine. Brother has to convey himself, brother's apology to papa. So that papa can forgive brother."
"Sister can't do that, Mul. My brother doesn't have much time now. You .. har .. us say to pa. .. pa."
My brother's hand slipped out of my hand at this moment. Brother's last words have not been finished. Heart rate detection device, sounding strong.
I was shocked by what happened. Quickly call the doctor, or nurse, to check on my sister.
