The Extremely Fearful

Emma is not suspicious at all because Kendrick takes her to a national park visited by many visitors. He assumed if they would actually date in a place that offered much of that beauty. The beautiful flower garden, some exotic places but there is something he missed of course the place he did not like the most and did not want him to see at all is a Beautiful Lake in the park.

Emma thought Kendrick would take her walking down a path filled with towering trees as well as a garden overgrown with some kind of beautiful flowers. Emma even thought Kendrick would take her on a picnic under a big tree but it was just a shadow of hers because she did not dare to express her wish on.

Upon entering the tourist spot, Emma had shown that she was really happy. She couldn't hide it, because Emma pulled Kendrick's hand into the flower garden. It seems like I have never been to that place in a long time. It seems like the last time he was in college that he never came to the park again because the deaths of his parents changed things.

“Yes, a fun and beautiful place. Everyone loved it,” Kendrick pretended not to know because she wanted to see Emma's reaction.

Emma was not suspicious especially Kendrick really made her happy. They enjoy time in the flower garden, walking down the streets overgrown with rows of large trees while holding hands and after this, walking down the street, only then Kendrick will take Emma To the Lake but before that she will try to find out what Emma thinks about the deep water and whether Emma has been to the beach or not before.

“This place is really beautiful. I want to take a book with me while sitting under a tree,” Emma said.

“You're right, especially in spring. It will be even more beautiful but it is summer now. What if we go to the beach? You've been to the beach, haven't you?”

“No, Ken. I don't want to!” Emma pulls Kendrick's arm to get Kendrick to stop her crazy idea because she's really scared.

“But I'm afraid, please don't do!” Emma's still asking but Kendrick pulls her to the lake.

Emma's breath was already hunting when the beautiful lake was already visible. It may be beautiful for those who like it but not for Emma because it's a very scary place for her who has a tremendous fear of such a place due to past trauma that she can't yet remember. Emma's still begging Kendrick to stop this crazy thing.

Emma's face was even pale when the distance of the Lake was still several hundred steps away from them. Her legs were shaking so much that Emma fell down because she could no longer move her legs towards the lake. Emma hugged herself, she felt a great fear.Cold sweat even flowed down her forehead.

“No... no!” Emma was terrified and she couldn't hide it.

“Emma, do you remember anything? Do you remember what happened to you?” Kendrick was already squatting nearby and she hoped Emma remembered something.
