The questions could kill him slowly. Kendrick looked at Emma without turning. Emma who he knew before now looks mysterious and holds many secrets even he felt that the woman who was sitting not far away was not Emma.

Emma is feeding Daniel a meal. He did not ask much because he did not want to upset his son even though he was very curious about what they were doing while he was sleeping and why his son was crying. But what he really wanted to do was kick Kendrick out. Honestly, he was afraid that suddenly Kimberly and her grandfather came and saw Kendrick there. The matter will get even more complicated even he won't get help.

"Daniel is full, Mommy" said his son.

"Well, after that rest. There's something Mommy wants to talk to Uncle."

"Mommy wouldn't scold Uncle, would she?" ask Daniel.

"No, why would Mommy scold her?"

"That means Uncle can come every day to see Daniel, right?"

"That?" Emma looked at Kendrick for a moment. Instead he wanted to ask Kendrick not to come often.

"May ya, Mommy. Daniel has no friends except Uncle. Mommy wouldn't ban it, would she?"

Emma sighed, if she forbade then her son would be sad. It seems he can't ban it at all.

"Please, Mommy. Daniel just wants to have friends" whined his son.

"Alright, Mommy won't ban it."

"Horree.... Daniel was very happy. Thank you, Mommy," said his son with a pleased expression.

"Mommy is also happy, now Daniel has to rest so that things improve."

"Good, Mommy. Uncle can't leave while Daniel's asleep" Daniel asked.

"Daniel, Uncle must be busy. Don't be like that."

"What right?" Daniel looked towards Kendrick, waiting for an answer from him.

"Rest now, Mommy wants to talk to Uncle for a minute."

"Well, Mommy," Daniel smiled as his mother gave a kiss on the forehead. His facial expression showed that he was very happy today. The blanket was pulled to cover her son's body and after that Emma moved on.

"I want to talk to you" he said before stepping past Kendrick.

"Alright, if so uncle go first."

"Will Uncle come back?" ask Daniel.

"Once, Uncle will leave if Uncle will go."

"Daniel wait, Uncle!"

"What are you talking to my son about?" emma asked without turning away, She knew Kendrick was following in her footsteps.

"I didn't say anything, Emma. Don't misunderstand me!"

"Why is she crying?" now Emma turned around, looking at Kendrick intently.

"Your son misses his father, Emma. He said that when I hugged him. It's a child's pure feeling so don't suspect me like that."

"Then what did you come for?" Emma turned, looking at the wall blankly.

"I just want to see him, can't I?"

"Please, don't make things worse," Emma lowered her head, she hoped Kendrick wouldn't always come even if she had promised her son.

"What do you mean, Emma? I didn't do anything but why did you say that?"

"I don't understand why you're doing this. Do you want revenge because I refused to marry you? Are you deliberately doing this to make me even more hated by Kimberly and my grandfather?" Emma asked as she looked at Kendrick with a sharp look. There's no harm in him suspecting that, is there? He doesn't know Kendrick but the guy is pretty close and pretentious to him when they're just strangers.

"So you think like that about me? Am I so petty, Emma?"

"That could happen, right? We don't know each other but you act like you know me well. Is that not what you did to avenge me who refused to marry you? Didn't you mean to make me hate Kimberly and my grandfather more? You even ended your relationship with Kimberly when I got back. Was that not intentional?"

"No, Emma. I'm not that petty. I ended our relationship because I had no feelings for her!"

"What funny!" between Emma, "You don't have feelings for her but you made her a fiance and then you dumped her when I was.  Does that not mean you deliberately want to repay me? You waited for this chance, my chance to come back and after I came back, you ended your engagement to Kimberly so that I would be hated even more by them. What a perfect plan for revenge!" said Emma.

"What a heinous accusation, Emma. But I will not be angry because of your circumstances that do not remember me at all but believe me I did it is not for revenge because you have refused to marry me and trust me if I am very know yourself very well!"

"Don't brag, I don't recognize you at all!" emma screamed because she didn't know Kendrick. That was because there was no memory of the man in his memory.

"If so look at me!" pinta Kendrick as she approaches.

"Do you want what?" Emma stepped back quickly, she looked nervous as well.

"I ended my relationship with Kimberly because I didn't love her. There was only one woman I ever wanted, did you want to know who?"

"I don't want to know so stop there!" emma shouted, but Kendrick did not stop.

"You say if we don't know each other and you know, I know you very well and you're the one who forgot me. I don't know what happened to you but believe me, from the very beginning there was only one woman in my heart and there was never another and that woman was you!"

"Don't tell lies, I've never known you before!" Emma's cornered, she can't run anymore because Kendrick's been pinning her against the wall.

"You promised to be my wife, Emma. Maybe you forgot but we made that promise when we were kids that's why I took the promise to your grandfather but you ran away and refused to marry me. I'm sure if you remember our promise and remember me, you won't run. Now tell me, what happened to you that you don't remember me at all and tell me anyway, who's the father of your son? Don't let me investigate it because you won't be able to bear the consequences!"

Emma's facial expression changed, she looked nervous and frightened. His mind was chaotic, as the shadow of two small children suddenly appeared. His head became sore, it hurt so much that he couldn't even think well.

"Emma?" Kendrick was very surprised because Emma was very strange. Emma looks like a lost person looking for a way.

"Are you okay?" Kendrick was about to help Emma who had fallen to her knees while holding her head but at that moment, Kimberly's cry sounded. Kendrick looked in the direction of the voice, Kimberly and her grandfather were standing not far from them and Kimberly looked very angry to see Emma along with Kendrick. The position of the two of them really made Kimberly misunderstand so that it made her even more angry.
