Rejection of Daniel

Emma tried to smile as the man she met welcomed her arrival. The man looks good, he can see it but he should not be fooled by appearances alone because the man not only has to accept himself but has to accept Daniel as well and the most important thing is that.

If the man could accept his son, it was more than enough and he would not fuss over anything anymore because his grandfather had kept his promise which they agreed to.

"Emma, right?" the man asked her, extending a hand.

"Yeah and you?" Emma welcomed the young man's hand.

"I'm Aston. I've heard a lot about you from your grandfather."

"Good, that means you already know that I already have a son, right?" Emma let go of her hand and sat down because she didn't want to talk too long. If it can be direct, why buy time?

During Emma's dinner with Aston, Kendrick comes to the hospital to accompany Daniel. He also brought food because he remembered Daniel's words that the boy would always be hungry at all times.

Daniel who was bored because he had played his mother's phone was very happy when Kendrick came let alone Kendrick brought food because he was hungry. The nurse who was looking after Daniel was asked to leave because Kendrick wanted to be alone with Daniel.

"Is your mother not back yet" asked Kendrick. To be honest, she was very curious and wanted to know where Emma was going.

"Daniel really felt like he had Daddy" Daniel said, looking down. Her cheerful expression looked sad.

"Hey, don't be sad like that. Daniel can think of Uncle as Daddy Daniel from now on if Daniel will."

"But Daniel wanted to have a real Daddy. Why doesn't Daniel have Daddy like the others?" Daniel began to cry, shedding the sadness he felt.

Kendrick began to panic, trying to calm Daniel's loud cries. Daniel still whines about wanting a father figure and his cries are heard by Emma who has returned together with Aston. Emma immediately ran because she was worried about Daniel's circumstances but when she saw Kendrick, she looked unhappy.

"What are you doing? Why did you make her cry?" emma shouted furiously.

"Don't get me wrong, Emma. I didn't do anything!" kendrick replied but his eyes could not be separated from Aston who stood not far from Emma. Aston also looked towards him, who was that man?

"Daniel, are you okay?" ask Emma who looks worried.

"Who is he, Mommy?" daniel asked, pointing to Aston.

"Oh, he's Mommy's future husband and who's going to be Daniel's father later."

"No way!" yelled Daniel loudly. Daniel cried again, while Kendrick was quite surprised by what Emma said. Is that Emma's grandfather's plan?

"Daniel doesn't want Mommy to get married, Daniel doesn't want another Daddy besides Uncle Ken!" daniel shouted in his tears. Emma glared at Kendrick, suspecting that the man had instigated Daniel. His son didn't stop shouting, he refused Aston. Emm was so confused, he was not happy with Aston because Daniel obviously refused and because of that, Daniel spewed out the food he had just eaten.
