I'll Forget Emma

Kendrick was being waited on by her parents. Surely because of Fedrick's request that they meet tomorrow to discuss the issue of Kendrick and Kimberly's marriage. Ainsley already knew that Kendrick cut her relationship with Kimberly out of the blue from her husband who had just spoken to Fedrick, which is why they were waiting for Kendrick to come home to discuss it.

Kendrick was surprised to find that both of her parents were in the living room when it was night. After the hospital, he did not go home immediately but he went to the bar for a while to calm his mind. Many questions he wanted to get answers to but none of them could be instant.

"Mom, Dad, why don't you guys sleep?"

"Why is it so night, Kendrick? Mommy and Daddy have been waiting for you since," said his mother.

"What's wrong, can't tomorrow?" Kendrick approached her parents and sat not far from them. She has a quiet father-like nature, while her sister follows her mother's slightly harsh nature.

"Tell Daddy what's been going on with your relationship and Kimberly. Why did his grandfather call Daddy and sound angry?" ask father.

"Dad, I did break off our relationship because I didn't like her bad nature. All this time I've never seen her like that but today, I just saw the vices she's hiding."

"That's not all because of Emma, is it?" ask mother. Fedrick said Kimberly was angry with Emma for messing up their dinner and making Kendrick misunderstand.

"No, nothing to do with Emma. Why is Mommy asking like that?"

"Mommy just wants to know because Mommy heard you decided that because of Emma."

"Don't believe that word. Kimberly accused him recklessly. I helped Emma take her suddenly ill son to the hospital but Kimberly assumed Emma was deliberately doing it to destroy our dinner even she accused Emma of wanting to ruin our relationship. Frankly, I don't like her bad nature when Emma is her sister."

"What's? Emma has a son? Is he married?" ask mother. If Emma was married, wouldn't she have completely forgotten the promise they made back then? Kendrick will be disappointed and heartbroken.  She even remembers when Emma refused to marry Kendrick and left, Kendrick was really disappointed.

"Yeah, looks like she refused to marry me because she was pregnant at the time."

"Alright, we don't need to talk about Emma. He refused, what can we do? Moreover, he already has a son that means the father of his son might marry him later so you don't have to hope for him anymore. Maybe Emma didn't take seriously the promise you two made as kids, Mommy hope you didn't waste time and about your relationship with Kimberly, what about your relationship? You decide and we won't force it" his mother said.

"I want to end our relationship, Mom. I can't marry her because I don't have feelings for her. After all, the bad nature of it, I really don't like it!"

"You don't have feelings for her but you're engaged to her. What exactly do you want, Kendrick?" ask his father anyway.

"sorry. Dad. I agreed at the time without thinking. I was thinking maybe I could figure out why Emma left after being with him and know when Emma came back!" to be honest, back then she still expected Emma because the love that had been there since childhood, was not easily erased just like that but now, she had to try to remove it.

"Alright, you're really playing with fire. If Kimberly's mad at you and Emma, I think that's normal!" said mother.

"I know but my decision has nothing to do with Emma."

"But Kimberly doesn't necessarily want to understand, Ken!" said mother.

It would be best to focus on her relationship with Kimberly first, she would talk to Kimberly kindly and after that, she would focus on finding the woman who had framed her four years ago. If necessary he will ask for the help of his two uncles to find the mysterious woman.

Ainsley and Damian could only look at each other and shake their heads. If that's what Kendrick wants then they can't prevent it at all. Hopefully after this Kendrick finds the right life partner but somehow, Ainsley hopes Kendrick and Emma remain good friends.

Kendrick went into her room and took a shower but she didn't go straight to sleep. Kendrick stood in front of the wall closet where there were many photos there. The photos were of her with Emma when they were still living as neighbors. Kendrick took a photo that she really liked because it had so many memories that she could not forget they made before it was taken.

For the first time, Kendrick turned the picture upside down because she didn't want to see it again. If Emma can't have it, she'll forget it from now on. If Emma forgets their promise and childhood, she forgets it. Kendrick rubbed his face, damn it. Why be like a child?

Forget it, there was still something she had to do besides Emma and Emma that filled her heart and mind. He should go to sleep especially late but the shadow of Emma haunts him even the shadow of the face of a little boy who looks like Emma haunts him. What happened to Emma's son? "Later I'll scold Kimberly" Kendrick comforted Emma not to cry anymore.

"Kendrick, I don't want to part with you. I don't want to move, "then Emma's going to move in with her family.

It's time to fulfill the promise but Emma just ran away and forgot herself because of that, she will forget the promise they made and she will forget Emma.
