Daniel was picked up by his grandmother because he had to go to therapy while Ema waited for Kendrick because Kendrick had said he would pick her up and give her a job reference. This was an opportunity that he should not waste because he really wanted to improve himself.

Although the income he got later was not so great, but it was enough to make him confident because thus he will not always make it difficult for Kendrick. He also had to pay the money Kendrick lent him for which he used to buy groceries. Although he knows Kendrick may not care about it because for him it is not much but debt is still debt and money given by Daniel, he said, he will keep it because the money he can use when in an emergency.

Kendrick, who had just learned what Kimberly had done to Emma, thought about it for so long that she decided not to tell Emma first. For now, he should be quiet because he has a plan, a plan that might make Emma recall a little memory suddenly.

Emma was getting sleepy because she was getting tired of waiting for Kendrick to come home. Daniel was gone a few hours ago and he's been sitting in front of the window playing his phone for so long. Emma almost fell asleep but the sound of the car woke her up. Emma was so happy to see Kendrick back. He almost died of boredom waiting but luckily Kendrick was home. Impatiently, Emma got out of her seat because she wanted to greet Kendrick so they could leave quickly. What he did certainly made Kendrick happy.

“Why did you take so long?” Emma was not aware that she was like a wife who welcomed her husband home from work.

“Have you been waiting for me?” Kendrick saw the clock in hand, it was only 11:00 in the afternoon but Emma seemed to have been waiting for him for so long.

“You were so long, after Daniel left I almost died of boredom waiting for you!”

“Wah, I'm so happy to hear it!” Kendrick grabbed Emma by the waist and pulled her closer. Had Emma been waiting for him every day like that, she would have been so happy but she knew why Emma was waiting for him today to the point that she was impatient.

“I'm so glad you're waiting for me, Emma. If every day you were like this, waiting for me to get back together with our Son, I would really have gotten what I wanted.”

“I'm worried, you're embarrassed because I'm one day.”

“Why do you say that? I will not be ashamed and no one will dare to speak ill of you let alone as long as you are with me.”

“Secret, you'll know later. But for now I'll take you to meet someone. If you're interested you can work with him but if not, I'd recommend the others to you.”

“Thank you, Ken. Though you don't have to bother like this because I can find a job myself. I know you're busy too but you want to help me.”

“Already, as I said we take both. You don't want to work with me, then I'll help you find a job. Impasse, right??”

Emma nagging. Hopefully this is a good start for him and hopefully the reference given by Kendrick is good enough for him because he really wants a job that does not take up too much time because he must have time for Daniel.

As he expected, his work did not take up much time. Of course Kendrick knows because she also wants to have time with Emma as well as with their Son. What does it mean if Emma's working but they don't have time to be together? That's why he recommended Emma to work there and actually it's a clothing store owned by one of his best friends.

Emma was very happy when she got accepted to work at the place and she can start tomorrow. His working hours are also not too long, he can start working at 10:00 and return at 8 p.m. At least the time is not too limited just to work because he will have time with his son.

A smile graced Emma's face as Kendrick was talking to her best friend. He finally got a job. To get rid of the boredom, Emma took a look at the expensive clothes in the store Because she thought she had to learn a little so that tomorrow when she started work, she didn't make too many mistakes. Somehow she was actually interested in a dress that was in the glass cabinet, Emma even saw it for so long because for her it was a beautiful and charming dress but of course the price is not kidding.

“Do you like that dress, Emma?” kendrick's question made Emma turn away because Kendrick had already stepped closer to her by then.

“Do you like it?” Kendrick asked again because he would give it if he liked.

“No, I just saw it” Emma replied quickly.

“Are you sure? If you want I'll buy it for you and on second thought I notice you don't have a lot of clothes. What if you choose some clothes here consider as my thanks to my best friend because he has accepted you to work here .”

“No, I don't want to!” reject Emma because she knows the price of clothes there is not cheap.

It felt like taking Kendrick away but he was not feeling good even he had changed clothes according to Kendrick's request and the shabby clothes he had just worn were already in the trash can.

Kendrick saw his performance and was quite satisfied. From now on Emma deserves what she deserves but Emma feels that it was a waste that should not have been done but she can't say anything because she can't resist.

“You look beautiful so now is the time to go on a date,” only Kendrick while holding Emma's hand.

“I told you, secret. Soon you'll know, so let's go!” again Emma just nodded and could only follow Kendrick without knowing if Kendrick would take her to a place that was scary for her as an impromptu therapy she had to get.,
